My cleric let's see.. I had a pretty high AC, it was like -2 or -3 i believe. so effectively a 22 or 23 in this edition. I don't recall what her health was. And I was always front line.

Shadami in regards to my items, I believe this was the decision:

For a weapon, Composite Longbow and 40 arrows is ideal. For armor, Leather Armor is ideal, plus a pair of gloves (I've had injuries because my char didn't have gloves using a bow). For my ideal melee would be a light shield and rapier.
Backpack, bedroll, blanket, fishhook x5, pot, flint and steel, days ration, torch x3, waterskin, rope-hempen x2, grappling hook.

With addition to that was either a fishing pole or a fishing net, I can't remember. Maybe both?

If I were to get all of this would I have enough gold?

oh right!!! i do remember going over that. And yeah I'm pretty sure you can get all that though I never did price it out.. nor do i remember what i decided for the fishing stuff . oh wow i can't believe i forgot about this one.

oh and if there are private rolls not that you two are theives... but its the example i can think of. That say a dice roll needs to be made privately to the DM. dice do work in private messages. Jaijin and I double checked out of curiousity for those times when rolls are meant to be private.

I completely forgot about private rolls. I have seen people do them when I watch DnD on youtube.
I'm not really a creative person but I should keep in mind the fact that I can cast a spell (or do something else) in secret.
Besides, the way this adventure is set up none of the people in the party know each other extremely well. Maybe I don't trust you guys that much :P

Naw, just joking I do trust you guys! Jolmah believes that you should start off trusting people until they do something to lose your trust.

yeah and You and Aya can have traveled before it that's how you want it to be since you do know each other a little bit already. :] Burne will be completely new because of his background though.

and i forget exactly what spells it is (pretty sure they're wizard spells) and a couple of skill checks that get rolled in private. I just have to relook up what they are cause i don't remember.

Honestly don't mind rolling my rolls publicly. It's how I've always done it. I've only ever seen the DM do private rolls.

There's very few that are actually private. But i figured i'd just say the option is there if it becomes necessary. ^^

What if, for fun, you wanted to play a trick on someone in your party? Wouldn't that be something that you roll in private? :P

That's what i mean. certain situations there would be a private roll. I'm sick right now. as is.. well the entire household. So i'm a little brain fuzzy. but say you try to pickpocket a party member. You'd roll it in private first.

Pick pocketing is a good example, but if I were to play a trick it would be purely for fun and not something like that :P

I also heard that this flu season will be worse than last year. I really hope that isn't the case!
I hope the flu vaccine works this year, I know a few years ago their prediction was incorrect and the vaccines didn't work.
