Rawr!
iWanted to make a thread to post some of my work
I'll post once a week or so
The art will be old but in chronological order
I'm leaving some of the older stuff out >.<
PLEASE Feel free to hang out, comment, give feedback and ask questions.
Dew NOT be ashamed!
You may post your own works here too and shamelessly self promote ❤
[I'm collecting Art Instagram accounts. Follow for follow anyone?]

From what iRead in the rules here iThink it's okay to invite you all to hang out
Let's talk about anything art related
iFeel there is a lack of artist activity here.
I've tried other threads in the art discussion forum
No such luck.

And for all the people passing by that don't know what to say iHave an artist questionnaire prepared!
I'll answer all the questions (in length) as iGo along (whenever)
Feel free to answer one, none, or all of these questions whenever you feel comfortable.
If you have questions you think should be added let me know.
You may also pick the number of the question you want me to answer for the week. (if not I'll go in order)

Sketched, Line Art and Colored completely in GIMP with a USB laser mouse

[Speed Paint]: Number 12

Date: August 21st, 2014

Here is a self portrait

Number 12 because pulled from random drawing

This had a few things iHad done differently in it

The line art got colored over in some places

and also the line art was done with the Ink tool

got more tapered lines and all but this was an experiment

-------------------------------

iFelt this was fitting for today
Today is the 2 year anniversary of my dad's death
and this was the last art iShowed him the day before he died
His last day on this earth he watched this speed paint with me and he was so
proud of me.
iWish he was here to see how much I've improved.
iStill can't watch the speed paint without crying

iLove art. I'm motivated and inspired by other artist.
iSee where they are and iImagine that iCan get there too
It gives me something to aim for.
My muse is round, attractive and sexy women (ಠ‿ಠ)
iLove curvy women iFind them anesthetically appealing.
I'm most inspired by pin up art style.

The head shot isn't bad tho

When my maternal grandparents died I got a bit of money and put it towards a real nice camera but you don't have to have a hugely expensive one to get good pictures.

There is differences between a $200 and $20 camera, the problem is how u value the differences.

Oh and also what you define as 'great' pictures.

You see, you will think that high definition screen is the best and awesome and all that jazz.
But do you know that the make up of the actors have to be improved along with the high definition, because!!! High Definition means you can see every tiny witty bit of blemish and imperfections. I am not sure how you enjoy zoom in scenes with face full of... pores? Even though it is a very normal thing, it just somehow turned into 'scientific photo' for me.

I think it is even more impressive to produce a good work by a less than awesome product rather than vice versa.

iAgree with both of you
High def and expensive does not always mean better
And the being able to see pores thing is very unattractive
I've taken some rather decent pictures with disposable cameras
(quite a long time ago)
Also crappy Camera phones
But I'd need a really good camera to capture pictures of the night sky
the moon in particular
It's been so hard to capture it in all it's beauty

I do agree that there is a place for expensive equipment.
It is HARD to capture night sky. Look at the investment the government make to build observatory to the night sky!
It is the times where you unfortunately do need the features expensive product have to get what you want.

Your place can see pretty night sky?

I'm in a big city
but on good nights iCan still see the moon very clearly
since it's the biggest star
I'm NEVER able to capture it exactly how it is
None of the equipment I've ever had has been good enough
And iDidnt get to try the school cameras at night because
Living in the ghetto that'd just be asking for it xD

That's unfortunate
The lights of a city or suburb can prevent you
from seeing the pretty things in nature sometimes
