Oh, I don't think I'm familiar with your character. What is she from?

Oh! That makes sense. I haven't seen the movie yet though so I'm not really sure how she looks in that scene.

I didn't watch it either. I didn't like the first movie.

Start at about two minutes nine seconds to see the scene.

looked interesting. I think you captured her well then. Seems like she's a lot paler than the skin tone you used though.

I am going more on the book description of her. In the books she is described as olive skinned.

I see. I never read the books as they were not highly recommended to me.

I...don't recommend them so very highly. The first was okay, the second I started to doubt, and the third I hated.

yeah Zig, that's about what I heard from my friend who is VERY well versed in dystopian literature. It's her field of study. From what I saw in the movie, the basis of the world doesn't feel interesting to me at all. My friend told me to read Divergent instead. That one was well enough but I didn't much like it either.

There is a lot of meaning in them but there were also a lot of things that I felt weren't done very well.

I've been meaning to read Divergent but I'm busy with other books at the moment. ^^;

Books are usually better than their movie counterparts.

Lord of the Rings isn't better than the movies and nor is The Wizard of Earthsea series. I can't even get through the books they're so dull.

of course the books are better, but from the movie I can already tell the structure of the story and world is not appealing. Reading the book would not make that better.

Actually they changed so much in the movies for the Hunger Games.

I liked the Lord of the Rings books but there were a few small things in the movie that bothered me. I know they couldn't show everything but still... Otherwise they were really great movies. They really brought the story to life.

I agree. Though the movies were well done in that case as well.
