[Alright, then would you like to start, or would you rather I did? And what did you have in mind in terms of character genders, since I'm open to any and all?]

[Hee, sure thing.]

The streets were shadowed, lamplights, dim and artificial, the only attempt by humans to beat back the taint of a moonless night. A few wandered the street, glancing fearfully around for something to give away what lurked just beyond their vision, ensconced in the natural cape that night projected. The were mostly oblivious to the form that lounged right there against the post of a street lamp, hidden in plain sight. Should one care to look, the tall, lean form would be obviously off, dark skin faded, ashen, speaking of years and years without sunlight. A faint glint from slightly parted lips could be passed off as dental work, and, should he choose to open his eyes, pupils slit in the way a cat's would be, irises a bright, beyond-husky-blue that no human could accomplish, that would be waved off as contacts.

The way he dressed, though... That could not be explained away. Lace frothed from under the black overcoat, over the collar and under the sleeves, the blood red shirt revealed through the open collar of the overcoat. The pants were those of a dress-suit, strangely orange-tinted hair in tight, messy curls down to his shoulders; altogether, he gave off an image of clashing times and cultures, a mixture that should never have touched humanity. And so, they did not look, and did not see, and he, already fed for the night, was content to watch from lidded eyes as they passed along, unaware of the danger sitting right underneath their noses.

A figured walked along the streets lit up just enough with streetlights. The figure was small in frame and height and appeared to be that of a girl. She was just wondering the streets after having fed. She had mid-back black hair and her eyes were red. Some would find them strange. She was dressed in all black. Nothing special, just regular clothing so she could better fit in with the humans when she came out at night. She was pale, no skin color really there.

She walked until she saw a figure leaned against a streetlight. She was unsure of she saw them at first, but son realized that she did indeed see someone there. She was unsure if they were human or not from the distance she was at. So she walked closer. She saw that they were dressed differently than what humans would and that their skin was the same as hers. She stood there and stared for awhile without saying anything. She didn't really talk much.

Dameen, for that was the creature's chosen name, turned his head slowly to lock his eyes with those of the girl who had so intruded upon the solace of his people-watching. He flashed her an easy grin, small fangs now more visible, and gave an elegant bow, hair falling forward to shield his face. "Good Eve, madam," he said, smooth voice as chilly as the night encasing them, before straightening fluidly, one vertebrae at a time, until he returned to his lazy slouch against the lamp post.

"And to what do I owe the honor of one of my Brethren visiting?" He asked, slightly amused at her wordless stare. It wasn't often that he had opportunity to interact with anyone, much less those of his own kind, so his speech was mildly rustic, patterns old and accent thick. He hadn't had occasion to speak with one of his own kind since he had of his own choice left his kin to observe humanity- he'd slept most of the time, and now, he spent most of his nights, just trying to comprehend the modernized world as it was.

Nanako just watched him for a few few seconds before bowing slightly as well. She just waved slightly. She would say something, just not yet. She did smile slightly though showing off her fangs as well. She looked at him and then looked around before looking back at him. She was going to say something, she needed to talk more when something was directed at her.

"Umm...well, I just wanted to see if you were of the same as me. Also maybe to talk if you were and get to know each other...become...friends maybe?" That was the most she's said to answer someone in forever. She didn't really have friends anymore and so she wanted some. Maybe the ones she found, if she found any, would get her to talk more. She needed to, it would do her some good. Maybe she would keep some friends then. She herself didn't live with others any more.
