Personality: She tries to stay happy even when she's sad, but you can always tell when she's sad. She is also easily angered. She is also very kind.
Bio: She comes from a kitsune village were only the best can come and live there, so not many get to live there. She is somewhat of royalty her parents are second in command there. They have orbs for each and every person that lives there that represents there powers. Sanoko's is red and blue which represents fire and water/ice. Not to long ago some wolf demon tribe came in with there best fighters and began to destroy the village in search of there powers, the orbs. They say the orbs help maintain the beholders powers but if in the wrong hands can be used or evil. If they have enough of these orbs they can destroy anything in their way. When the wolves came Sanoko's parents took her and fled they didn't stay and fight, they wanted to save their daughter. During their escape two wolves came after them injuring her parents badly, her parents fought back and killed them and continued to flee with Sanoko. They had also brought her orb with them. Later on when Sanoko was 10 someone came and killed her parents, she was taken to an orphanage and she has had nightmares of her parents deaths ever since then, She was never adopted either.

Personality: Can be rude and hateful sometimes, but overall is very kind.
Bio: His parents loved him dearly until some deranged demon came and killed them and left poor Maoko all alone, but he was too young to remember any of that. A loving couple came across him one day and took care of him until he was able to do so himself. When he was 11 in human years they put him in the human world hoping he would fair better in there than in the demon world. When he was 13 that's when he met Sanoko and has been friends ever since.

Bio: When she was still just a baby, her mother left. She used to hold a grude, but has now gotten over it. At the age of 18 (in human years) her father was murdered. She felt guilty at the time because she knew the killer and believed that she had led him straight to her father. Since then she's found it hard to trust anyone.

Bio: Ash grew up in an adopted family, but never even suspected he was adopted until he was told. They gave him a note from his real parents explaining why they had to give him up and he decided that since he was old enough he would try to find them. In his travels he met Annika and even though she doesn't entirely trust him yet, he still considers her a friend.
Appearance: (has very pale blue hair, teal eyes, and what appears to be a tatto of orange and yellow fairy wings that cover his whole back)

Ash stared up at the moon, shining down. It cast eerie shadows in the forest lining either side of the road he was traveling down. To his left he heard a faint rustling noise and caught a glimpse of a quickly moving shadow. It didn't worry him though.
"Oh come on Annika! It's the middle of the night! Who do you really think will pay any attention to us? Honestly!" He was getting frustrated with her wariness of strangers.

Annika growled back when Ash had finished calling out to her. She knew what he was trying to do, but it wasn't going to work. She was not going to shift back and come out. Not yet anyway. As she stared up at the moon, waiting for Ash to catch up again, she let out a low rumble, loving how the light felt on her back, a coolness in the heat of the summer night.

Sanoko was in the living room of Maoko's apartment. It was small, but it was big enough for the both of them. Maoko had bought it and his adoptive parents kept sending him money to buy the things they needed and to pay the rent. She sat there looking out the window wanting to go out. She got up and went into the kitchen where Maoko was. "Lets go for a walk, I'm bored." she said and walked out. She walked to the door and then outside.

Maoko looked at Sanoko when she came into the kitchen talking about wanting to go for a walk. Why did she want to go for a walk at night? He shrugged and walked outside with her. He locked the door and walked down the road with Sanoko beside him. He didn't say anything; he didn't feel like talking at the moment or even going on this walk. He sighed slightly making sure Sanoko didn't hear it.

Ash caught up with Annika just in time for her to take off as slilently as possible through the forest. Sometimes, like tonight, he wondered what it must feel like to run like that.

Annika moved swiflty through the night-darkened forest, loving how it felt to move so swiftly and silently. Tonight she had taken her favorite form of a tigress. Just as she was about to cross the road, she caught a strange scent, two actually. There were two strangers not far ahead. With a quiet snort, she headed back to where Ash was and growled low, trying to warn him.

"Why so quiet?" Sanoko asked Maoko looking up at him. She wondered why he was quiet, did he really not want to goon this walk? She continued to walk as she looked up at him.

"Just don't feel like talking right now is all." he said looking down at her and then ahead. He stopped for a few seconds thinking he sensed something, but he shrugged it off and continued walking. Maybe it was nothing, he hoped it was nothing. He didn't want to fight tonight and he didn't have his katana with him right now anyway.

Ash edged over to where Annika was crouching near the edge of the road. "What?" he asked, not sure what she was trying to tell him. He looked ahead, but could see nothing yet.

Annika, annoyed with how dense Ash could be at times, chuffed and motioned with her head that he should follow her then she took off running back to where the strangers should be by now. She could hear him chasing her, but he was nearly as quiet as she was.
When they reached the area, she stared out of the undergrowth, her golden eyes seeming to glow as she observed the two.

Maoko stopped and made Sanoko stop. "Don't say anything." he whispered to her. He looked around trying to see something, but he didn't. He knew someone or something was there though. "Who's there?" he called out to whoever it was. He waited on an answer if he was to get one.

Sanoko stopped and looked up at Maoko and was about to say something when he told her not too. She stood there waiting to see what was going to happen. She knew Maoko sensed something.

Annika shifted forms, becoming a small grey tabby then headed out into the road. She wound herself between the male's legs then stopped and looked up at the girl. After a moment she glanced back at Ash, then back up. Hopefully Ash would catch on to what she was trying to do.

Ash watched Annika, impressed. She never went to anyone willingly like that. At least not that he'd ever seen. When she glanced back, he wasn't entirely sure what she was trying to tell him, but stood and emerged. "There you are!" he said, trying to sound relieved. He carefully reached for Annika, hoping she wouldn't try to claw him when he picked her up.

Maoko watched as a cat came up to them. He looked down at and went to pick it up, but decided against it. He looked at Sanoko about to say something when someone came up. He looked at the male that came up to get the cat. "Is this your cat?" he asked him though not really sure why, it must be because he was coming to get it. He waited on a reply.

Sanoko looked at the cat and then at the male that had come up. She looked at Maoko and wanted to tell him that that wasn't a regular cat, but she didn't she would let him figure it out. She could tell because she could also shape shift into animals so she sensed that that was what this person was doing. They must have been out for a walk as well and they were just being cautious.

Annika stared a bit suspiciously at the girl. There was something about her that seemed unusual. Something that bothered Annika, yet it seemed sort of familiar too. She wanted to know what it was, but in her current form, all she could feel was the pull of the moonlight and the instincts of her feline form.

Ash nodded at the question. "Yeah, sorry if she bothered you." he said, trying to come up with a good excuse. "She just sort of got away from me." With a fairly friendly smile at the two, he tried to slip past. "I should get going now."

If Maoko didn't figure out that the cat wasn't really a normal cat then she would tell him when they where gone. Which didn't seem to take long. "Well bye, maybe see you around. Though probably not."

Maoko looked at Sanoko when she said bye to the male. He wasn't so sure on just letting him go. "Why are you out walking with a cat anyway?" he asked eying him. His red eyes seemed glow slightly under the moonlight, which could look intimidating. He waited on his answer.

Ash froze, noticing that the male's eyes seemed to be glowing red. "I...umm.." he couldn't seem to think of an answer fast enough. Then he was forced to look away as Annika scrambled from his grip and ran behind him.

Annika, annoyed with Ash's inability to lie convincingly, leapt from his grasp, making a decision that she hadn't wanted to have to make. She shifted back to her human appearance, hiding behind Ash simply because she was naked. "Well," she said while rummaging in Ash's pack for some of her clothes. "he was walking with a cat because he wanted to apparently." her reply was sarcastic. When she had managed to get dressed, she stepped out from behind.

"Ok. I can see walking with a dog, but not a cat though." Maoko said wondering where this girl came from. He thought for a few seconds and then figured it out. She was the cat though he didn't say anything, he just looked at the two and then at Sanoko.

Sanoko saw the cat jump down and run behind the male. When a girl came out from behind him she then knew that she was right. That the cat wasn't just a regular one. She looked at the two before looking down. "Well may be we should go because Maoko isn't going to stop asking you questions like that." she said looking up once again.

Annika nodded as polietly as she could at the two then walked past. The girl was probably right. Maoko seemed to just keep questioning every little thing. Rather than shift back into a different form, Annika decided it would probably be best for now to stay how she was.

Ash, feeling rather embarrassed, followed Annkia down the road for a while. "Why did you do that?" he finally asked. He had been suprised when she had revealed herself to the strangers. "I thought you didn't trust anyone."

Sanoko walked ahead. She wanted to finish there walk. She stopped and looked back at Maoko. He was still standing there watching the two leave. "Come on." she said calling to him for his attention to leave them alone. She didn't understand why he had to be that way.

Maoko folowed Sanoko and when he reached her he somewhat glared at her. "Why did you do that? They could come and attack us right now." he said. He was trusting of other people just not people he met at night on the road. If they had met in the daylight he would be more nice and not ask so many questions. He just wanted to make sure Sanoko stayed safe.

Annika shot a glance back over her shoulder before looking over at Ash. "I don't trust anyone," she said angrily, "but you gave me no choice. If you had been a better liar then I wouldn't have had to reveal myself like that!" Breathing in, she closed her eyes then opened them again and started jogging forward at a slow pace. "I'll meet you back at the hotel!" she called, her tone saying that if he tried following, things wouldn't end well for him.

Ash sighed and watched Annika run off. He wanted to follow, if only to make sure she stayed safe, but he had made that mistake once before and had the scars to prove it. "A better liar." he grumbled. His anger didn't last long though. She had been right. He was a terrible liar.

Maoko continued to walk with Sanoko down the road. He sighed a little after a few minutes. "I'm ready to go back home Sanoko." he said stopping and turning around. He looked at her waiting on her to turn around. He went ahead and walked on. Not paying attention to whether if Sanoko was following him. He was just tired and didn't even want to go on this walk in the first place. He closed his eyes and continued walking. When he opened them he saw the male that they had run into earlier, but the female wasn't with him. He just walked past him.

Sanoko didn't hear Maoko at first so she continued on walking not realizing he wasn't walking with her. When it registered in her mind that he had said something she turned around and looked for him. She didn't see him, he was no where to be seen, this made her ears and tails be seen. She had three fox tails and they where red orange tipped with blue. She just walked in the direction they had come from. After a few seconds she began running. She didn't want to be alone outside at night. She ran until she passed the male they had seen before and caught up with Maoko. When she saw him she began yelling slightly. "Hey wait! Don't leave me!"

Kaderin entered the nearest bar, hoping that a few drinks would give her time to calm down before heading back to meet up with Ash. She seated herself in a dark corner, staring at all the other customers, her golden eyes seeming to glow in the darkness. She sighed, ordering a tattoo and coke from one of the waitresses who was wandering around to keep the patrons happy and liquered up.

Ash wandered slowly back toward the hotel. He was almost back into town when the male from before passed him. Shortly after, the female rushed passed him but something seemed different. And then it hit him. Are those ears? And a tail? Ash blinked in near-shock.

Maoko stopped and looked behind him at Sanoko surprised she was making her ears and tails be seen. "Sanoko what are you doing? Why are you revealing something like that?" he said a little angry at her for doing something foolish. He figured that would make them more prone to be attacked.

Sanoko sighed when Maoko started asking her questions all angry like. "Well maybe if you hadn't left me back there alone they would still be invisible." she said. She looked down and then up at Maoko before looking behind her. She then made them disappear. "There happy?"

Sighing, Annika finally finished her first drink and decided that if she was going to get drunk enough she'd have to start drinking something that was more alcohol than coke or juice. She flagged down a waitress and ordered a beer. When it came, she took a swig, grimacing at the taste.
"I so don't get why people like this stuff." she said softly.

Ash shook his head. He had seen weirder things than a person with tails and ears, it had just taken him a bit by suprise. He had never suspected that she was a creature who would have them. After reaching the hotel he was staying at with Annika, he headed up and into his room. He tapped lightly on the door that joined the two, just in case Annika had decided to come here first.
