@Rvaya: I used openCanvas, and the lineart is just done with a plain old mechanical pencil. I just scan it, clean it up and start coloring by making the original drawing transparent. Then I create tons and tons of layers for all the different colors. :3 I'm a very low-tech CGer. Plus... I'm awful drawing straight into my computer with my wacom tablet. My art style regresses back to high school when I use only the tablet. XD

I used oC to retrace the lines because I thought the original sketch was too messy. XD I don't usually digitally ink because inking is such a pain, but I need to buy new nice paper so the sketching looks cleaner. The rough textured stuff I have is so smudgy. T_T

His name is Maarten Endreliunas, he's a dethroned king. It's a drawing of him when he was really young, and his "current" appearance is something like this and this. I am really pleased with his costume design but I've been putting off coming up with a solid color scheme. XD;;
