I love books. <3 I have two 6ft bookcases full and more spread all over my room and bed. ^_^
My favorite would probably have to be Thr3e by Ted Dekker. It was well written, believable in the context of what was going on and had an ending that wasn't obvious and cliche.

I'm in love with his work. He's definitely one of my favorite authors.
My absolute favorite book, though, is House of Leaves, by Mark Z. Danielewski. It's scary as hell, on a psychological level. I've been having nightmares about empty hallways for about five years now.

My favorite books are any from the shadow children series. I remember being smaller and sitting down reading one book in just 1 sitting. They captivate my interests. I can sit down for hours upon hours reading them, theres no stopping me or telling me its past my bedtime haha. ill stay up in secret and just keep reading them

Currently I have three favorite books for three different reasons:
The Pillars of the Earth By:Ken Follett Because it's so original even though it's an older novel. It has many twists and turns that keeps the reader interested even though it looks daunting it's a easy read.
The Road By:Cormac Mccarthy I keep finding new things in this novel to analyze to keep me thinking.
Lucas By: Kevin Brooks. This book looks like a read for a lightweight but it's not although based for a teenager it's hardly juvenile.

I think that they are most likely talking about House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski. His sister, Poe, released a soundtrack that is a companion to the book... and some people mistake her for having written the book.

I would have to say that my two favorite books of all time are Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins, and Generation Dead, by Daniel Waters.
Both are very nicely written, and were very interesting to me. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. :]

Tough choice, my favorite book constantly changes with the sort of mood I'm in. Some of my definite top choices though would be Neuromancer by William Gibson, Ubik by Philip K. Dick, Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, and A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin.

My favorite books so far have been from "The Devouring" series. I'm not sure if any of you have read the books but I highly recommend it. I have read, so far, The Devouring and the sequal to it which is Soulstice. The series is about a girl who's life changes completely due to an invasion of Vours which are demon-like entities that feed on ones fear. It is a rather frightening series so far and it really keeps you on your toes (:

Like the Flowing River by Paulo Coelho
Krik? Krak! by Edwidge Danticat

... As you can tell I can't really decide what books I /really/ like. xD
