Bubble tea is a cross between a smoothie and cold tea with large "bubbles" of tapioca in the bottom that you eat with the tea. It's really gross I think, but I rather hate tapioca.

I love bubble tea! It's usually sweet and cold and the tapioca balls are most often a brown color. The texture of the balls is kinda like a soft squishy ball but they are a little chewy too. I have found that my friends who don't like bubble tea, don't like it because they are "texture" eaters and don't like to eat foods with certain textures.

Yep, that texture is really bad for me, it's the same reason I don't like yogurt actually. Brb, I must go work.

I was naughty today and had mene on at work so I could get more carrots from the patch.

angelyuy, ahh ok now I understand. I probably would not like bubble tea either then, because I hate tapioca and I am a 'texture' eater as well, lol. I do love yogurt, though.

I cannot stand nuts in my food, not even chocolate, and will eat around the nuts then eat the nut separately. If it's a walnut or pecan, you can forget it though, I hate walnuts and pecans.

I do not like mushy bread stuffs, so bread pudding is a definite no no. Same for rice pudding which is much like tapioca. Pumpkin Pie is just gross to me. I used to hate soggy cereal, and I still do to a point, but I can at least tolerate it now.

Not sure what brought about that change, other than my tastes seem to be changing as I get older, so who knows, maybe one day I will like those things.

@Fizi, your tastebuds do change as you age, but most people who are texture eaters, who I have known, don't change much. I work with extreme texture eaters (kids with autism) and they can get to the point where they tolerate more foods...but usually...dry, crunchy foods is what they prefer.
