Elle gave a rather exasperated look when Laurence asked him to answer a question, his tail fin flopping slightly. He was mute, why didn't this boy seem to get that? Wasn't his species so very obvious? He never imagined land creatures to be so... well, so dumb!

He had a pretty fin on each arm that matched his tail, and he was careful about them with his arms crossed on the fountain edge. His plush little lips were a shimmery blue, seeming to be a natural colour that faded easily into his light creamy skin.

By this time both Morgana and Morrigan had joined their brother Morgen at the fountain. Morgana had witnessed the transformation that occured in the fountain. Her eyes widened. There was definately a lot of magic about the creature in the fountain. Magic she wanted for herself. Her tongue slowly ran over her lips. "It's a fish. Let's just eat it." Her powers increased with each magical creature she consumed. This boy would definately take her powers to another level.

Morgen shot her a glance to silence her. He was disapointed she was so blatant about her desire. She knew better than to be open like that.

Elle looked shocked at that statement, lowering into the water more as he let go of the edge, his body wriggling slightly in the water. He ducked his head down, letting the gills on his neck get wet before grasping at the edge of the fountain and making a sour face at Morgana. How could she say something like that? He was just as much a person as they were!

Without a second thought, Elle pushed up a bit on the edge of the fountain and spit a stream of water at the girl in his silent objection, slipping back into the fountain immediately afterwards to sulk.

Morgana wiped the moisture from her face. Agast at first, then she smirked at Elle. "Spiteful thing."

"You deserved it." Morgen added.

Morgana had definate plans for the little creature in the fountain. Now it was justified considering he spit water at her. She could almost laugh at how happy being more powerful would make her.

Elle didn't like that look on Morgana's face, not one bit. He knew something was brewing in her mind, his fin-like ears flattening to his head under that mass of curly hair, fingers curling over the edge of the fountain as he stared at her. What a mean girl, maybe his brother would find him soon before she got her way? Or perhaps this other boy wouldn't let her do that. If anything, he supposed he could start running again but... he dind't know if he'd make it all the way to the lake he lived in before running into the same problem as before.

Laurence chuckled at their little display before going to help Corey up.

"That's the scariest fish I've ever seen," whimpered the boy, hugging his brother while looking toward the fountain. "Laurie, will it eat me?"

"Maybe," he responded, not helping the situation. Corey clutching him further brought more chuckles out. "Let's go back to practice before Marlow has an ulcer..."

Morrigan nodded. For once Laurence had a good idea. He was anxious to get back inside, he was missing a class after all. "Let's go."

Morgana gave one last look at the creature. "See you later." She turned on her heel and headed to go back inside.

Morgen walked slowly behind them to go back in the castle.

Elle flipped his tail in the water a moment as they all started to disperse scrunching his nose at Morgana when she bid him farewell, dipping back into the water. Perhaps he could sleep a while in the water while he was left there. He was very tired after his ordeal anyhow, crossing his arms as he settled on the fountain floor, resting his head on them like a pillow.

Laurence was gazing out the window at the courtyard as he daydreamed, ignoring the teacher as he covered the spells they were to learn. He wanted to be a fighter. A knight. A paladin! A smirk spread across his face.

Corey rapidly wrote and rewrote the spells, trying to memorize them as he repeated them in his head. He wanted to do well. This class was one he enjoyed greatly.

Elle rested a while in the water, his tail flowing a little in the water. He waited until he had enough energy to change and walk around again, looking at the building everyone had retreated to. He squirmed out of the fountain and transformed again. He wasn't clothed, but there didn't seem to be any apparent gender to his lithe form, his long curly hair covering his exposed skin as he walked unsteadily for a moment. This was a fascinating building and he found a way in, quietly wandering the castle walls.

He peered into a room silently, blinking when he recognzied the two boys in there. How fascinating, they seemed to be learning something. Spells? Was this a school of some sort? He wished he could ask, but he couldn't speak up at all.

Morgana held up the necessary book for the class while behind it she was actually reading one of the black magic books she had taken from the library section no one was allowed to visit. She turned the page slowly. Maybe there was a nice little spell for cooking the hearts of aquatic creatures.

Saeran finally comes into the class, clearing his throat. "Good afternoon class!"

He glanced around the class, spotting Gaetano in the background. He was assuming his brother, Marlow, was not going to sit in on this lesson.

Indeed, Marlow did not feel like having a lesson. He knew his brother had another class and that he could always go into that one later to listen.

Corey welcomed Saeran with a bubbly greeting. He was excited. On the margins of his notebook were questions waiting to be answered. His hand was ready to shoot up and be the first to ask questions once the teacher requested them.

Laurence yawned, kicking at the back of Corey's chair to distract him. He found him to be SUCH a nerd!

Elle had hid when he'd seen someone coming, but when he heard them talking a bit in the room, his curiosity was perked again. He approached the doorway before he slipped into the room silently, being mute as he was. The young merman was curious--what were they doing?

Saeran nodded at everyone's greeting. He had paused for a moment when he noticed Corey shifting in his seat, being quite prepared to ask his 20 questions. "Maybe he'll break his record." He had thought to himself. In any case, it was nice to see all of his students in the class.

"Okay, lets begin today's lesson. If you open your books to page 23, we'll pick up where we left off. I hope everyone has finished reading this poem."

"I did!" Corey eagerly expressed. He continued to ignore Laurence's incessant kicking to the back of his chair. He was gradually getting pushed forward. But he was so used to being treated in such a manner that he allowed his brother's pestering to not get the best of him.

Laurence finally grew bored and slouched in his seat, gazing out of the window to daydream.

Corey could smell the scent of...fish? His hand that had shot up wavered as he looked over to spot Elle. He screamed out in surprise.

Morgana looked to what Corey screamed at. There it was, that fish boy. Maybe she would be in charge of taking it back where it came from.

Morrigan frowned at the commotion interrupting his learning. Hopefully the lesson would keep going on.

"Laurence, I need you to come up here for a second. I wish for you to start this mornings lesson." He waves his hand for him to come up to the front. Saeran always liked to pick on the quiet ones in the morning.

Laurence looked aghast at being picked out from the crowd. He almost wanted to ask defiantly, "Why me?" But at the same time, he wanted to show the others how it was done. How to be cool. He rose from his desk and strolled over.

"Yes sir?

Morgana turned her attention to the front of the class. "If I wanted to learn from a monkey, I'd go find one."

Morgen smirked at her comment whispering back that they'll definately not learn a thing from that blunderer.

Saeran shot a glare over at Morgana and Morgen. "Hush you two!" He said in a firm, but soft voice. He turned his attention back to Lauernce "Please."

Saeran was happy to have such a bright student in this class. "How would the students conduct todays lesson. Which..will take place outside later."

"Outside, eh?" Laurence smirked some. Maybe he could exhibit his powers at their best. The ones he fantasized about having.

Corey pouted in the meantime, wishing he had been selected. He looked back at Elle and blinked, wondering why he was there. His appearance still frightened him so!

Saeran took a seat on his desk as he studies Laurence. He likes all of his students, but this one....something was different about him. "Hmmm..."

Moragana frowned at the Saeran. She muttered something about killing him first when she was strong enough.

Morgen sighed and rested his head on his hand. There was no way he'd listen to Laurence teach. He'd just let himself day dream and think of that boy he had such a crush on.

Laurence smirked at Saeran. "So teach, what would you like me to do?"
