Bonded in Love

So I would like to come up with a group entry for the Bonded in Love part of the avatar contest. I don't have a set cosplay for this yet as I would like to play around with a few different ideas. Below I have created a list of some different ideas that I had. If you have one you would rather do or something on the list catches your attention please let me know.

Ideas

Shadow Hunters
Into the Woods
The Avengers
Chronicles of Shannara
Skip Beat
Tangled
X-men
Shrek
Red Riding Hood
Big Bang Theory
Firefly
Star Trek
Maybe an Anime or Manga instead?

EDIT
Decided to go with Shadow Hunters. Woot!

Cosplayers

UPDATE
Closing due to lack of interest. Please feel free to continue to chat here.

From the prequel or the sequel? ^^

I would suggest sticking to the mortal instrument books instead of watching the TV show Shadowhunters.
I really hate how Disney just twisted the storyline around and added what they wanted.

I have read the first two books of the Mortal Instruments novels. I have through book four I think and then I have the first one of the Infernal Devices novels. Just haven't had the time to read them, plus they kind of got lost when I moved the other year. I know what you mean. I hated the movie and I'm so so with the TV series. The books are SO much better.

I'm personally really enjoying the Shadowhunters show, but that is possibly because I don't really take the books seriously.

@ bbr; ah, okays! I enjoy The Clockwork series more than the Mortal Instruments. ^^
Who are your favorite characters so far???

I seem to only like Jem/Will/Magnus/Woosley Scott.
I miss scott :T

Yeppy! The movie was a disaster and the TV version is just a vomit fest xD

I usually dont, like, I never read HP before the movies.
I am reading it now, yeah but I still prefer the movies.

For the mortal instruments... not so much.
Everything they've done so far is awful.

I mean, dont get me wrong - I know movies/shows cant follow the books 100%.
But the direction Disney has gone in doesnt even use 50%, maybe 35%? Of the book.

I just dont like the no-effortness

Since no one else really seems to be interested in joining us I'm going to shut this down. It is sad because I was looking forward to seeing some awesome shadow hunter cosplays.

It's alright Miro. That's why I had the other ideas listed.

Also thanks. I'll be around off and on to chat. Right now kind of busy with research for my one class and uploading some new art to my DA.

Okays! Well, I usually LOVE event avatar contests and I don't even enter those anymore...
I think I've lost my motivation in layering/making new outfits. ^^;

Welcome!

Yeah, I haven't been super motivated to create avatars lately either.

That it does and well I keep finding myself being distracted from what I should be doing, lol. Totally got lost in looking at images to get inspiration for my project instead of doing the actual research, lmao.

I feel disappointed in the quality of the items we have now.
I understand wishyyy can't do all the pixels anymore but... idk *shrugs*

I don't want to use them

Pff, you're not alone! I've been doing that all week... which isn't so good, lol.
Amg. I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does that!!!

I can sit surfing images to get ideas to make things and once I look at the time, I've lost 5hrs+

What research are you working on???

Thankies!
I think I have you *watched* but I get so many notifications daily... I can't sort any of them out

I really like some of the items then others not so much.

Yup, it's never good to get lost in the net. I'm the exact same way. I'll be looking at images, etc and then when I look at the time I've lost several hours.

I'm having to do research on an art movement that I will be using to create a typographic poster for my typography class. We are allowed to choose either 1883 Art Nouveau Movement, 1945 International Typographic Style (also called Swiss International Style), 1950 Figurative Typography, or 1976 Punk. The poster will be for an upcoming concert for an artist or band.

Right now I'm debating between Art Nouveau, Figurative Typography or Punk.
