And most contests don't get much unless the contest is open for like 5 months.

Yes, I think the limited time frame and the request for realism is what scared a lot of artistists for this contest in particular. I'm sketching the second one now. I haven't joined any Mene contests for a long time its refreshing for me to do something different everynow and then.

I love contests that ask for realism. It's good to stretch oneself once in a while.

OK so. I'm a tiny bit confused. We're supposed to draw according to the picture? >.o Like, not just the same people but the same pose, etc? ^^; I couldn't find anything that specified that on first page.

You draw the photo. That's the whole point of realism. Just read through it again. ^^

They also said some non-realism is accepted too, so I was curious. Realism doesn't have to be a carbon copy. =P

It says they prefer realism or less bubbly anime style (if you have too) I'm sure he'll be around to say which he prefers.

I don't think I'll be able to have the second photo done in time, Azazel. But I will send it to you on Facebook when I do. I've been having artist's block on a few drawings.
