This is a very silly cartoon on for kids, but even as an adult I can't help but love the quirky antics of the show. "Stompin' on ants, stealing their souls"
At times the show seems darker and more adult-like than should be for kids. There are a few lines that are borderline iffy for kids viewing but just make me lose it. I end up laughing with tears to this show.
Anyone else like this show? Like Finn or Jake? or maybe the Rainicorn?!!
Oh I agree with that. Some of the things they say are not appropriate for say a 9 year old. But other things are great messages for kids to know.
1: Not to hate on people different from you.
2: You can't FORCE people to like you.
3: Condiments do not make a good Rainbow.
I Love Finn and Jake. Also, that show is light compared to all the innuendo-heavy shows I watched in the 1990s as a kid. Disney, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon had way worse happening then. My favorite episodes are "The Jiggler" and "Ocean of Fear". Also, I adore Marceline's song to her father about eating her fries. Ahhhh.
Oh for true! (About nick having way worse) I grew up on Rocko's Modern Life and Ren and Stimpy, so I know the lows that cartoons have dredged. But currently this is my favorite cartoon on! I think it appeals to my ADD and love of bright colors... or it's just a well writen comedy for all ages... or older ages.
I can't recall names of episodes, but the one where Finn's trying to find a date to movie night gets me laughing pretty hard.
Hey there Strawberry Kiwi!! Just keep posting make some friends and if you want to sit around and tqalk about just how fun this show is than go ahead!
I watch a lot of it on-demand but tonight I'm going to watch the new episode! (Because my fiance isn't comeing home till late and he doesn't like the show.)
Edit. Oh Lumpy Space Princess. You are so rediculous.

I absolutely adore this show, one of the best to come out in the past few years. Not to mention, the art is very well done. I can't imagine having to draw so many background characters with their own look. And Lady Ranicorn is a great supporting character! She speaks Korean right? Whatever it is, it's so cute!
Sora's friend was a fan of it and got Sora into it as well XDD
and we just saw the gender bender episode and LOVED the surprise ending HA HA!
(Sora' friends said it could have been better, but Sora loved it!)
This one was another show that I had to look up. I don't have a TV so I really have no clue about newer shows. XD It seems like one of those series that's hit or miss between being dumb and funny. Not saying that's a bad thing though.
The humor can be blunt at times coming off as stupid, but it's the details and background that can catch you off guard and laugh your butt off. I'm just glad that my cable had the on-demand feature so I can watch the show's I've missed because of work. The art's pretty good and the wackyness of it all makes it so nothing seems out of place. That and Lumpy Space Princess is a riot. :D
Almost anything can be said for Adventure Time vocab. Just say it excitedly :3 or act over the top. Each character has their own way of talking, Finn and Jake tend to be quirky and excited, Bubblegum is sciency and confusing, Lumpy Space Princess is well, hysterical. So you could just let each person pick a character to play.
The "Missing" episode was ADORABLE! and I really liked the songs, and wow did Marcelline look good in her "sun protection" outfit, it was edgy and cute. I love the characters :3
Jake: "Can I be the jerk in the band? 'Cause that's an important part to a band's success!"
Haaha, Finn: "Let's take a noodle break! ... Pasta, water, getting hotter. A song about noodles?!" "NO!"
Jake: "You guys have forgotten the music man, I'm leaving! ... I'm just kidding..."
Both songs were great, except for Bubblegum's she can't write music. :) I did like how even though they learned a valuable lesson they still beat up the Door Lord to get their stuff back.
Ha the last episode: Murder Mystery-themed. The codenames on the invites were fantastic. And didn't that creepy ghost thing near the ends look like Marceline? I kinda got creeped lol.
