True, though you get more candy on Halloween. I'm not sure that there are many kids going door to door around Christmas asking for candy canes XD

My parents always told me to take candy from strangers.
But then again, they wanted to empty out my room in hopes of turning our house into a bed and breakfast.

Nah, I get some goodies on Christmas too. ;)
Mom always gives us some candy in our stockings. Last year I got a butt load of tootsie rolls that broke some brackets on my braces, some chocolate shaped like Santa with marshmallow filling, and etc.

my parents only said never talk to strangers... they said nothing about taking candy from them, nothing at all... but if you think about it... if you never talk to strangers you'll be awfully lonely... how are you to make friends?
