Sorry for buggering off earlier; I was cleaning and went to get my boyfriend some Ginger Ale n.n;

In Canada, when you ask for a Shirley Temple, I think they use ginger ale. It's a strange and most decadent mixture. It starts of sot of yellow at the top of the glass, then there's a gradient to orange, and the bottom is red because of the cherry juice.
I've never seen it like that anywhere else.

Well typically, that's a Shirley Temple. They use sprite and maraschino cherry juice. But I guess they add a little something different everywhere you go. It's kind of amazing to see how they make it.

You sort of figure that ginger ale is never remembered for a treat because you only think of it when you're sick. And there aren't a whole lot of advertisements for it either.

It foams up hardcore in my mouth xD
Its the only soda that I know of that does that to me lol

This is true; there are more advertisements for alcohol than anything. Ginger ale is just sort of around. And oddly, you can't find it in too many bars. They give you sprite and toss in a few of those odd hops.

I used to drink soda when I was younger, but my family began to eat more organic and natural foods, so I began to drink more water and less junk-food. When I go out to eat I'll have some soda, but I can't say I'm really fond of the taste these days. And coffee too; everyone I know drinks coffee, and sometimes you could believe they were addicts of that stuff. I started to drink it, then stopped.
I love it when they put eggnog in it around Christmas. But eggnog isn't sold year-round here, so it's seasonal.
