I'm supposed to graduate in December so hopefully that'll happen. If not I may just quit.

I thought of you during that last event though...there was a raffle, and one of the items was the lovlipop. I don't remember who won it though.

I'm very excited Jeanne. I'm so ready to be done with school and move on with my life.

I can remember that time of my life (WAAAAY back then)!

It was really really exciting.
I was so excited to start working at IBM, and I wanted to do so well...I worked hours and hours...

Haha, well after this it's on to teaching. Which I got a preview of this last semester cuz I was teaching an ENGL 0331 class.

So will you be teaching English, as in grammar, or English as in "To Be or Not to BE"?
That is my question.

Hopefully more of the "to be or not to be" variety, but it depends on what age I get.

aw man how sad. i've been hunting for one for a while. i finally finished my 2007 st. patty's quest. got em all! just need the two vday items. FIGHT-O!

I know it'd be stupid but I would quite right now if I didn't think I'd regret it.

I think a pair of the stockings from St. Pat's day was also one of the items.

Hadsvich won the lovlipop.

I won a Queen's crown, which I didn't have, so that was nice.

oh maybe that's who was selling the stockings then? i found them on the marketplace and i have a shit ton of gold so i bought them up right quick.

But I'm in those finish line can't take a break type moments.
I already decided to drop my thesis cuz I can't do it.

No, the university I'm at has a thesis or non-thesis option so i'm just switching tracks

Not really.
Just looks a bit different professional. I still get an MA in English

then why would someone go through the extra work? that's a lot of work without much reward it seems

Because if you're going on to a PhD (which was my original plan, but I've now changed that as well), you should do a thesis if you want to be accepted to a reputable PhD program.

My sister was so close to a Master's in geology. She was ABT.
All But Thesis. But that university required a thesis, so she never got her Master's.

It was a shame. Took her forever to pay off her school loans too...
