On a small island in the most remote areas of the old world sits a mansion. To those who view it for the first time, it's towers seem to touch the sky, and it seems that if they could only climb to it's peeks they might be able to glimpse Heaven. How unfortunate though, these souls are to be. For once any man, woman, or child steps foot on the grounds, they are subject to the hospitality of the Lancaster Sisters. Locals that live at the far end of the island will tell you tale of these beings, the reason they never venture to the other shores.

The island itself has a rich Celtic history, and since before any can now remember the stories of the triplets have been passed through generations. Long ago, before the world had a name, the sisters Ismela, Sibyl and Deidra first walked the island. Then they were revered as ones of great power, for it was so uncommon for children to be born in threes. The people of their village made the offerings from the finest hand crafted cloths to the best weaponry that man could then make. Simple now these things would seem, but for the time the three were treated as princesses would be today.

They were come to with questions of the mind, soul and heart, things that the people believed that only ones such as the sisters could answer. For questions of the mind they approached Ismela, who had been born unable to hear the words of those around her. It was only logical that one who could hear nothing would think with a mind clear of the every day slander.

The second born, Sibyl, was left in the eternal darkness that one is freed from at birth. To her, the people asked questions of the soul, believing that she had the ability to see past the endless darkness and into the very core of a being. Many put their trust in her words, as she was a great speaker, and listened just as well.

One that is born without the ability to speak, as Deidra was, could only listen. The thought of a man, his very heart comes out when he speaks. So, for questions of the heart they came to the youngest, asking for guidance. Through the connections that multiples often share, Sibyl acted as her sisters voice, telling them what advice Deidra may have for them.

The tale goes that on the night of their twentieth birthday, a man came, seeking to wed all three sisters. When they had refused and the villagers stood their ground beside then, the man raised up his arms. With every part of his being he lashed out, cursing the very lives of the sisters. He wished damnation on them, a life of nothing less then living hell. He vanished shortly after, as the crowd swarmed in on him. In the following months the sisters began to change. They began to thirst for blood, wanting nothing more, though their hearts still remained unchanged.

One evening Ismela and Sibyl called everyone together and set a warning. They told all those that they cared for so dearly to flee from this place, for nothing remained here now aside from evil. And for over two thousand years the three sisters have lived together, never keep guests from very long, that is until three like them come to call.

Each sister is as fair as the next. Born from a mother who was thought to be the most beautiful of their village, each sports long chestnut hair and emerald eyes. Most often they can be found dressed in luxurious gowns, much like the ones worn in the mid to late 19th century.

Their home is filled with various treasures that the locals used to bring as offerings. They display these things with pride, happy to know that at some time they had been in high standings.

(For further information on the sisters read through the intro again. It gives a good image of them.)

~ The Lancaster Sisters are the head of the house, what they say goes. (Unless, of course, their dear servant Serge has anything to say.)
~ This is a Literate, long term RP. No posts under one paragraph... More than that would be wonderful! Grammar and punctuation is also wonderful, though we are aware that no-one is perfect.
~ Keep things PG-13, there's a reason this site has people of all ages.
~ This may eventually become a private RP, we're hoping to get it on it's feet with more characters before settling for that though.
~ PM me with character requests or new guests. Please include an RP sample.
~ Please, have fun and enjoy your stay.

Guest Forms:

There is not a basic outline for profiles. If you take a look at the format the men were done in, you can make your character's description like that. Vampire or Human all we need is a basic history and how they happened to come to the manor.

Please PM all the descriptions to me with an RP sample.

Pre-Mades:

Serge-
Born and raised in the small town of Versailles near Paris, Serge spent much of his early life reading any book he could get his hands on. For many years he has amassed his keen knowledge of the world through his method. He had desired more than anything since a young age to be an author, a famous author.

But those dreams were dashed when his father suddenly died and his family was thrown into terrible poverty. He was forced to labour for what little money he could to support his mother, who died less than a year later.

He began to travel and after traveling across much of Europe and part of Northern Africa, he came upon the Lancaster Sisters. Making a deal with them, he offered his services as a servant and a confidant for a place to live and the free will to write whatever he please. They, of course, accepted.

And so, he now works as a man servant and butler to the sisters, confided in their secrets and owner of volumes of his own personal work, and greeter to their visitors.
Played by:

Nicholi Demidov-
Growing up in St. Petersburg, Nicholi came from a rather poor family. As a child he would go to market for his parents and stope to watch the street painters. He began to fall deeply in love with the idea of art, and by the time he turned twenty had alredy made a name for himself as a painter.

Toward the middle of his twenty-fifth year Nicholi met his ultimate fate. A man in a long brown fur coat stood not far from him on the street, watching him paint one of the newer buildings. As it grew darker the man began to approach, and pulled him into a near by ally. That night he was born into the world of darkness.

Nearly one hundread and fifty years after this happened, Nicholi has found himself a guest in the home of the Lancaster sisters. Though he does not see much of them, he has begun to find himself quite smitten with the oldest, yet he's far to stubborn to let it show.
Played by: Heysuesita (Till someone else can take him.)

Peyton Keble-
Sophisticated and competitve, Peyton had to work his way up to middle class from a very poor state, in what would be Oxford, England. He enjoys and thirsts for knowledge, and considers himself quite the scholar, though he doesn't flaunt it unless challenged to.

At his twenty-third birthday, Peyton had gotten quite drunk with a few men, and was wondering about his estate. A man found him, though to this day Peyton cannot reccollect anything about him other than his gender (which bothers him to no end), and was brought and turned in his garden house. The next night he chose to pack his things and leave his estate, and wander the world in his eternal dark.

Now 400 years old, he has finally wandered to the island where the villagers speak of triplet sisters, who live on the far shore. He became curious and wandered onto the estate, to find the three sisters walking together. Sibyl spoke for her sisters in asking him to stay there, and so now, he finds himself a guest in the Lancater Estate.
Played by:

Aiden Nottingham-
Highly arrogant, also stubborn as a mule. As a young french nobleman, Aiden was used to womanzing, drinking and having grand parties. Of course; that was all taken away from him in the blink of an eye.

While hosting the last party while he was human, he had met one woman that he had placed a wager on. He would try and woo her into his arms for the night. In attempting to do so, the young woman attacked him viciously.

Waking the fallowing night, he knew that there was something that had changed in him. He was no longer a member of the living family he had once had. He'd become one of the undead. Now, he has found himself a guest of the Lancaster Estate, and quite fond of one of the sisters.

((First Post Time! Hope to get some joiners soon.))

Images played over and over in her mind, things of the past that had been locked away so tight she had nearly forgotten. In each memory there were the three, her sisters Ismela the eldest, Sibyl the second and of course her. Like so many sets, they were hard to break apart, even after two thousand years. The reason for this, thought, was something other pairs, thirds, and quads may never have had.

They needed each other, in levels beyond most could comprehend. From the time they were born, Ismela and Sibyl played as her voice, as she had been unfortunate enough to be born without one. Deidra, in return, played as Ismela's ears, and Sibyl's eyes. They loved one another in every way possible, and understood one another on a level no-one would ever meet. And what a sad thought that was.

For the first time in their very long lives, the Lancaster triples were playing host to others like them. In the old tongue they were called Lilu, a kind of blood-feasting spirit, better know today as the Vampire. For years the sisters believed them to be the only of their kind, until tales from the mainland came with word of Lilu terrorizing the farmers and their livestock. But these guests were far from the images of hunched men hanging onto the fur of sheep and lamb, they were little less than pure romance.

One had come to catch Deidra's attention, a man who had once been a French Nobleman by birth. He called himself Aiden, and had a certain air about him. She found herself completely unable to take her eyes from him for long moments of time. How happy she was that he never seemed to notice.

~ ~ ~

When one has nearly nothing to do in the day, they tend to just wander about aimlessly. Day in and out he would do just that, wander the long and seemingly endless halls of the the sister's home looking for something that might just spark his creativity to the grandeur it had once been. It wasn't long after he had arrived at the estates, that Nicholi found himself in love with the old world construction and the decorations that seemed as old as the siblings, yet just as well preserved.

Stories had been created over the years of people like Ismela, Sibyl and Deidra, the classic 'see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil' but this was infact the first time he had ever come face to face with the embodiments of a legend. Shortly after ariving he had become fixed with the eldest, following her every move closely, and being sure to keep out of her line of sight. When alone in a room with her, there was no trouble from him. He could sit in a hidden spot and sketch her for hours, till thirst struck one of them.

But if he was unfortunate enough to have one of the others in the room as well, no spot was safe. She would turn to look at him in a moment, as if she could actually hear the rustling of his clothing.

An eternity of life seemed to pass her by. Optics the color of pale emeralds, not nearly so vivid and bright as her sisters’, stared sightlessly at nothing. Yet, she seemed to be able to see everything, especially those things working eyes were unable to detect.

For as long as she could remember Sybil Lancaster had always seen things without her own eyes. Her sisters found ways to communicate many sights around them to her that she could not see for herself. For centuries upon centuries she had seen some things on her own, though.

The souls of all living creatures, and even those of the dead, were susceptible to her prying inner eyes. It wasn’t truly seeing, though. Pictures didn’t run through her mind. There was only darkness and understanding. True, she could feel vibrations and hear sounds, but those did not always produce a clear understanding of what lay around her. Through the centuries her senses became keener, as did her mind, but she continued to rely on her sisters’ beautiful, functioning eyes to aid her.

The three sisters were like separate bodies of one single entity. They were connected in ways that no other trio of siblings could ever hope to expect. They’d survived the great changes of the world together, helped one another handle whatever form of sense they lacked, and given their wisdom to others who may need it. They were one, and yet three. Inseparable visions of beauty with their fair skin, emerald orbs, and flowing, chestnut hair would be nothing if ever they were apart.

Yet, even with one another those centuries were long and lonely ever since that damnable curse of blood lust had been pressed upon their shoulders. Until, somewhere along the recent generations they began to receive stories of others like them. Others with similar afflictions began to show up and the Lancaster sisters found their once lonely lives filled with company they had never dreamed of discovering.

In some small and normally unused portion of Sibyl’s mind, though, she wondered if this was truly a good thing or if such events might tear the triplets apart. Not every soul they met was untainted and the blind woman feared they might corrupt her sisters. Then again, most of those Lilu they met were considerably younger than the sisters and lacked the majority of the wisdom the women had thrice the knowledge on.
