Having a fantasy world could help...
Somewhere to escape when things get you down...

My mind is very chaotic, especially when I need to focus or sleep. I find clearing my mind easier at night when I'm lying in bed. Morning meditation in the sunlight does feel wonderful, though.

My favorite place in my fantasy world (maybe) is a beach where it's always that time of day where the sun has gone down but the sky is still blue. I still create new places whenever I want. The last one was a bright flower field where a few unicorns can be sighted.

@Jean: I was surprised how much it helped! You'd think it would make things worse because you can't have what you imagine. But it does make you feel better and help you relax.

@Clock: That's how I felt. It got me frustrated for a while that I couldn't keep my mind blank. Practice.

@Jean: They're brown ducks with black necks/heads. There's a lake by my house where you can see them swimming (and a couple swans! :O), but they come out and walk around the neighborhood often.

Wren likes Mallard ducks. The males are pretty.

Are they coots?

Maybe loons?

@Clock: I'm most focused when I draw or write. Even then, there's still background noise in my mind… It's hard for me to get music out of my head.

I'm definitly thinking about making an avatar: the last airbender, Katara and/or Zuko avatar. Because of the latest EI.

I like the background flames.
