enjoy. The resolution is 1024x768 but if you need it bigger, just let me know. I'm also
hoping to make a widescreen wall because widescreens need love too.

Thank you, I was setting it up yesterday so that I would be ready as soon as I could get to the event ^__^ How are you doing?

I'm doing really good, got an unexpected day off AND get to enjoy the event's first day. How are you doing?

A day off is always a crowd pleaser.
Haha, that would make me day.
Well, I don't work.. Or have school for a month..
So yeah, I don't really have to worry about that.
But yeah, a night off from rehearsal was nice.

Oh, and I am pretty good.
This is my first event here at Menewsha.
I am pretty excited.

I'm really excited too, can't wait to see what the first event item is but that'll have to wait until tomorrow. Right now I'm planning out how to spend my gold in the Special Event Shop ^^; I think I have almost everything on my list of 'things to buy'. I found out during the Halloween Event that the commons for these events are awesome so I decided to save up for this.

Hahaha, that was very smart of you.
I was unaware that we had to purchase different items based on the special events.
So, I definitely didn't save up as you can see.
But, I am currently in the process of doing so.
I think I will wait to purchase the items, however.
You know, until I see people wear them and can tell that I'll like them or not.
Only because I am currently working on an avatar.

That's what happened to me for Halloween ^^ But I wound up talking a lot with people while I tried to catch candies so I earned enough for a full witch's set. I'm not really planning out avatars, I just pick items I think are really pretty and then go on a spending spree ^^;

Yeah, I'm weird like that. I was expecting to be at work all day so I wanted things ready to enjoy the fun as soon as possible. Plus, I was in the mood to make holiday wallpapers ^^ Any event commons you're planning on getting yet?

I am a chatter box as it is, so it shouldn't be an issue.
I am totally into planned avatars.
Though, I think it's more because this is my first avatar.
I'll probably wear it for a while.
Come next event, I will definitely save up to buy stuff like you did.
Then, I won't have to care what items I buy.

Hehe me too. I'll start with the most expensive on my list once the shop is fully updated (looks like things are still being added). I do need to stock up on pink since this outfit is the only pink I own and I would like a little diversity ^^

The first avatar is always the most important ^^ I remember on another site I'm still in my first outfit ever just because I've gotten so used to that being me that anything else just looks weird. The next event will be for New Years, then there's a user run Menewshaversary in January followed by Valentines Day in February >< We're going to be very event busy for awhile.

I just bought these things awww so adorable but idk everything is so lovely I will sell a couple of things at the exchange sigh...

My current wall is a blue fractal artwork from boyis.com. Not very holiday-ish but it still looks neat. I can't figure out what I want to use to replace it yet either so it shall stay.

There's an Unofficial Planning of Menewsha's Anniversary thread in Community Discussion. Normal users (and some mods) will be running contests and giving out prizes. It won't get its own forum like this did (at least I don't think it will) but its a mini celebration. Apparently there was something like this for the summer (Summer Carnival).

I'm making banners for the various contests but since I'm relatively new too (became active in Oct) I didn't think running something would be a good idea. Plus I didn't know if I would have the free time to dedicate to it. All the contests sound fun though, there's even a baking contest ^__^
