Dog baths are just so exhausting. I think it's the leaning over the tub thing. It seems to be helping her at least temporarily. Though I have a well meaning friend suggesting all these organic fixes and I'm sorry but I am not going to vinegar my dog.

Yeah. I just know how many things that are perfectly healthy for humans are really really bad for dogs and I just don't like taking a lot of chances. I'd rather use a product that I know is safe and tested for dogs. I do use vinegar to clean up pet accidents, but on the dog is different.

I need to clean the piggies' cage soon. We're switching from shavings to fleece this week. Two liners are coming at some point, so after I wash and dry them enough, no more shavings to vacuum up daily. I'd rather take a laundry route. They get excited and then somehow shavings end upstairs. ;)

Haha, yeah. Shavings are kind of like glitter. They end up everywhere somehow. My sister does a liner for the bunny rather than shavings. Hers is disposable, and he does mostly go in the litter box (which has "yesterday's news" pellets in it...they don't get everywhere as much).

My guineas poop mostly in a corner, but they go everywhere. As far as I know, poops need to be vacuumed/swept up daily, but the actual liner can last close to a week before washing, and are good for up to 200 washings, sometimes 300, depending on stripping and stuff. I think by the time the liners need to be tossed, the pigs will need a bigger cage. Kinda hoping we're in a house by then as the apartment is a bit small to give them a huge run space.

I had a friend who had 6 or 7 guinea pigs that I watched once. She had this huge area for them. When you walked in, it was the cutest cacophony of squeaks ever.

Yep. They're cute, love to snuggle, and have completely different personalities.

True facts. Dad was coughing when it got warm so mom turned on the air conditioner. It's FREEZING in here.

My brain can't compute air conditioning right now. Heheh. Then again, I'm living in an ice rink. xD

It's 30 degrees outside, so it isn't exactly air conditioning weather here either. Haha. They left for church group though, so now *I* control the thermostat. Mwahahaha. I looked up a recipe to make chocolate drizzled popcorn, and it looks really yummy, but then I realized I was way too lazy for that. Hahaha.

I have a recipe for butterscotch and chocolate chex mix something or other that I have been meaning to make and haven't. That sounds like it would be really good right now.

Carbs are delicious. I have such an awful addiction to them.

So, now I'm planning a baby shower. For a friend who is due in February...but she has lupus, sooo....baby could come any time! This is going to be fun. Heh.
