Kayden placed his pencil's eraser to under his lips. "Hmm." He thought for a moment, looking up at that ceiling. "Why not both? You said yourself that dragons symbolize love, so you can draw both a male and a female dragon." Kayden looked at her and sensed something that he couldn't quite put his finger on. "Is.. something wrong, Lisa?"
Kisa listened to Vannah explain her situation and watched as Adrian easily scooped her up in his arms. Kisa was just in shock. She didn't know what to do. She had never been put in her situation before. Kisa quickly caught up to them. "Won't the nurse have to do something if we explain what happened to her? By law, she has to call child protective services if she believes Vannah's in danger of being hurt. What are you going to do or.. say?"

Hearing the solution offered by Kayden as he nomed on the eraser on his pencil, Lisa smiled widely. That was a good idea. "Good idea Kayden." she said and then nodded as she began writing down the supplies she would need to create the masks and attach them together. Surprised as her new friend read her expression so well, her ears flicked up at him in shock. "Kisa is growing more worried by the minute... I'm worried about her..." the little neko breathed.
Adrian looked to Kisa, and then nodded. He was about to reply when he felt Vannah go still. Looking down, he found her fast asleep in his arms. "Yes, but if child protective services step in, she will be considered an orphan... With being eighteen, they can't legally touch me, but who knows where they will ship her off too... And if I'm actually her brother, I don't want her too far away from me... But she deserves a good home." he said and then looked down. He felt terrible for forgetting so many vital things about his past life.

Kayden gave Lisa a perplexed look. "Do you think something went wrong? What could possibly happen on the first day of school?" As Kayden gazed at her longer, he understood. "I can help you look for her after class if you'd like. We can't just ditch, right?" He looked worried.
Kisa looked back and forth at the two. They were practically twins now that she got a better look. "Well, how about if Vannah moves in with you and Kayden? You guys have room, right?"

Lisa looked at Kayden and nodded slowly. "Yes I guess you're right, skipping isn't good..." She said gently and then fidgeted as her ears flickered towards the hallway. She itched to go find her sister and make sure everything was alright. It didn't feel like everything was alright at the moment. Nibbling on her lower lip as she thought about the possibilities she kept glancing at the door. What should she do?
Adrian looked at Kisa with surprise and then blushed. Someone living with him and Kayden? The way they were around each other? That probably wasn't such a good idea, but where could the poor girl go? "Our place isn't very... Suiting for people to actually live in. I've been working on fixing some things up, but we are ruffing it right now... I don't know if that would be good for her.... What if she actually isn't my sister? I don't remember anything...." He muttered as he thought about everything. What was he supposed to do?

Kayden couldn't help, but do something about what Lisa was sensing. He raised his hand and faced the teacher. "Ma'am, Lisa isn't feeling very well. May I escort her to the nurse?" Everyone in the room was staring, but it didn't seem to faze Kayden. The teacher stared blankly at them. "I.. I don't see why not. Go ahead." Kayden nodded to her. "Thanks."
Kisa bit her lip. "Well, this may be a bit of a stretch and I'll have to discuss it with Lisa, but she could stay with us. We have plenty of room and we live on our own. It could be temporary until you finish up renovations."

Lisa looked at Kayden and then played along. As they walked out of the room with their things, Lisa's ears perked up again and taking Kayden's hand she led him through the halls. Soon they where on the same strevh as her sister and Aiden. Hurrying over she pressed her forehead to Kis'a back. "What's going on Ki?" She asked with worry. Aiden spun around and looked into Kayden's eyes. "I-I don't know exactly how to explain all this to you Kayden...." the tall dark haired male said and looked down at the girl in his arms. "She claims I'm her brother."

Kayden looked back and forth between Adrian and Vannah. "You know, Adrian, she does sort of resemble you in a lot of ways. Er. Not to say that you like a guy, Vannah, but you both have dark hair and sort of the same facial shape." He paused. "So what's going to happen now?"
Kisa explained everything that's happened in Vannah's situation. "... and since Adrian's house is being worked on, I offered that she stay with us, but I was going to discuss it with you first, Lisa. What do you think?"

Adrian nodded hearing Kayden but bit his bottom lip. He just didn't remember any of this. Vannah slowly opened her eyes hearing Kayden and then nodded. "He's my older brother, so of course we are going to look alike." She said with sureness and Adrian looked like a lost puppy as he looked from Vannah to Kayden.

Lisa was surprised as she listened to her sister tell the story. Hearing what Kisa offered she smiled and nodded. "I would have done the same Kisa, it's fine." She said reassuringly and purred and nuzzled her sister's cheek. "It will be good to help our new friends like this too... Plus if we keep her from harm that's the most important thing... She looks like she could die any second with so many bruises and scars." She breathed with worry for the girl within Adrian's arms. No one truely knew what to do.

Kisa forced a smile. "Great! So it's settled then. We should probably take you there now, Vannah. You need some food and rest and luckily for you, we have the softest bed in our guest bedroom and I don't mean to brag, but I'm a pretty good cook, isn't that right, Lisa?" She was trying her hardest to brighten the mood. Kayden stepped forward. "We'll go too and we can get some of your things while your father's at work. What would you like us to bring?" he offered.

Lisa smiled at her twin sister as she tried to lighten the mood, and nodded in agreement. "She is the best cook, her pastas are amazing. You might get addicted like me." The neko said playfully and her ears wiggled a little bit. They always seemed to do that whenever she talked about the simply wonderful things about her sister. Adrian looked thankfully to the twins and then to Kayden. He was worried about letting him get near that man's house. If he had his way he would go alone, he wouldn't risk Kayden's safety, he loved him too much. Vannah looked at everyone a bit speechless and then nodded in agreement. "That sounds.... Wonderful... I would really appreciate it if I could rest at your house." She admitted softly and then looked up at her brother with worry. "I don't want you to get hurt." She said instantly and the tall muscular male smiled reassuringly. "Hey, we will be fast. In and out in a flash." The senior said lightly and she seemed to trust him as she met his eyes. "The only things I have are my picture of us and mom... My teddy bear and the sweat shirt you gave me.... Dad sold or destroyed everything else... I'm sorry I couldn't protect the necklace Rachel made me." She sniffled and tears ran down her cheeks. Shocked, Adrian didn't know how to respond at first. This girl Vannah kept mentioning seemed to have been close to them, but he couldn't remember anything. "Hey, please don't cry... It's alright. I'm just happy we have you. So do I grab all of those items?" He said and glanced to Kayden. "The teddy head and sweatshirt. I always carry the picture with me." Vannah replied and gently detached herself from the tall black haired male. Standing she steadied hersel and smiled weakly. "I will be alright with the twins." She said softly.

Kayden nodded. "If you're sure." He gave a thumbs up. "We've got it covered" Kisa gestured towards Vannah and Lisa. "Well, we should probably get going. The bell's about to ring and we definitely don't need to attract a crowd." Kisa steadied and made sure Vannah wouldn't fall over all the way off campus and to their home. Since the twins were only 15 the three girls had to walk back home. Kisa apologized when they reached the front door. "Please make yourself at home. What's ours is yours and so on. Seriously, though, don't hesitate to ask us anything, eat our food or whatever you'd like." she said as they enter the house. It was astoundingly large for the two girls. High ceilings, two stories. The living room was the first place you see. The walls and carpet was unnaturally white and the the dark brown chouch was huge and made of real leather. Across from that was a 50 inch flat screen tv with games and dvds scattered all of the floor. Kisa gestured towards the stair case. "Your room is upstairs, third room on the right. You have your own personal bathroom attached, so maximum privacy."
Kayden looked up at Adrian. "So shall we go?" he held out his hand for him to grab.

Lisa kept quiet like she usually did and kept herself on the other side of Vannah, watching with soft worry filled eyes. The poor abused child struggled to keep walking all the way to their house, but once there, she has tears running down her cheeks, relief filling her features. This was the first time she had entered a home besides her own. Coming through a door, and not getting beaten or yelled at when she entered, had her speechless with joy. Lisa looked at Kisa with worry but then hearing the laughter and soft hiccups from the bruised girl. "T-thank you... For everything." Vannah sobbed between giggles and hiccups. "I will show you to your room, is there anything you want to eat?" The quiet neko asked gently and brushed Vannah's arm softly to get her attention. "I've never had, pasta.... Could we have some of that?" The black haired girl asked and Lisa smiled and looked to her twin. "I'm sure Kisa would love making some..." Lisa said and gently nudged Vannah up the stairs. Helping the girl to put down her bag in her new bedroom and then began warming the bath water. Hearing the small yelp of pain, the neko swiftly was at Vannah's side supporting her before she fell. With soft words and gentle hands the neko helped the tall bruised beauty out of clothes and into the warm bubble bath. When she was sure Vannah was okay and relaxing Liss hurried downstairs and like a heat seeking missile found her sister instantly. Sniffling the artistic twin looked up into her sister's eyes with mister eyes. "Kisa.... Why would someone do that?.... Vannah is in so much pain...." The young girl sniffled and rubbed her eyes trying not to cry. Lisa was a soft soul, intune with people and emotions, feelings, and nature. Leaning up she kissed her sister and lover deeply. "I know it will be hard to keep our secret from her, but I'm glad we took her in."

Adrian looked at Kayden and then nodded slowly. Taking his lover's hand and pulling the boy he loved into his arms he hugged him tightly. "I'm so confused Kayden.... " the black haired male breathed, his muscular body encompassing his lover. "Stay close to me as we go to the house.... I don't like the idea of having you anywhere near a place like that..." Adrian said protectively and led Kayden out of the school.
