do you like american television shows better? of Japanese t.v. shows better? (not just anime and cartoons) this is like, real television shows and dramas and other things. which do you like better?
personally... i like japanese shows better.... i dont know why for sure...

Well, I suppose I like a mixture of both. ^^ It really doesn't make a difference to me where it's from, so long as it's good; however, so far as dramas go, I typically like the korean dramas best.

They never fail to put a smile on my face. ^^ Or have me crying in a good way from being so attached to the characters... crying with them, laughing with them...

I mostly watch Anime if you talk about Japanese media. And if I do, if I can actually, I watch the dubbed versions. Sometimes I`ll get around to watching Japanese TV shows, if they have subtitles. Or if the plot is good/someone highly recommended it to me. Otherwise, I just don't bother with it.

I like some of the storylines and plots in some of the TV shows, but for some reason I always find them weird compared to the normal American TV shows that I watch.

Frankly, I find TV shows made in the UK really bad. There's just... something about them that give me the shivers and flip the channel.

Well when it comes to anime and cartoon shows I much prefer the anime shows

When it comes to the real shows xD I like the english ones better the jap ones sound wired to be for some reason

Tough call. I'm sick of a lot of American shows, but I don't think I've seen enough Japanese shows (besides anime) to make a fair decision.

I guess I'll just have stick with my American shows for now *watches House* <3

I have to go American here. Arrested Development, Scrubs, and yes.... even the American version of the Office are all too good for me to overlook.

I prefer american.... Most anime is very dramatic, and lots of romance...... :?

I know, but I don't like the British version.

I, as people have mentioned, prefer anime very much over american cartoons.

As for actual television shows, I really have no idea. o_o I don't have cable or satellite or anything at my house, so I only can watch movies. I know I can find shows online or whatever, but I've never felt that strongly about a television show except for Gossip Girl, which I found on YouTube. ^^

I prefer the American shows mostly. Japanese anime is great though! :D

If I HAD to choose, I'd go for American, for the sake of Lost, Prison Break and House.

But I'd rather have British TV in place of either of them.
