Its really annoying. Although I haven't been there in a while. The only one I know of near me is inside a mall which decided to start charging for parking last January so we don't go there any more. That mall isn't good enough to pay for parking, in my opinion.

Ah. -hugs- That sucks. Our mall is very tiny and doesn't have much, but thankfully the parking is free. Small town bonus.

Yep that's what we're talking about. I read that they're closing completely though. It would be nice if they kept selling online though.

Dragoness:: I like the mall in my hometown, its like that. We have several malls and my favorite one is awesome and the parking is free. Silly second rate mall charges for traffic and loses customers. Smart!

I will be boycotting Starbucks if they stop selling the stuff online. I'm so freaking mad.

I boycott Starbucks anyway. I have to, I'm protesting their high prices. I'm mad about Teavana closing though. I had my eye on a tea set there for my mother in law and now they're closing before I can afford it. Maybe it will still sell on clearance. I could maybe afford it on clearance. :/
But it really bothers me that they're closing all these stores, and putting so many people out of work, but they're opening a ton of new stores in China. I wish they'd put those resources into keeping jobs here. But honestly I know nothing about business so I probably should educate myself before I say what Starbucks should do.
But this might be good news for you Kirin:

While Starbucks is closing its Teavana stores, it's not doing away with the Teavana brand like it did with La Boulange. Teavana is a strong, international brand, and Starbucks will continue to use it for tea sold in its stores and grocery distributors.

Starbucks recently started a partnership with Anheuser-Busch InBev to distribute ready-to-drink Teavana tea. So far, it's going very well. "We have already shipped over 2.5 million bottles of Teavana ready-to-drink teas in just 5 months, with all 4 flavors already ranking in the top 10 in the premium single-serve [ready-to-drink] category in our active markets," Maw told analysts.

Additionally, Starbucks plans to launch packaged tea in grocery stores under the Teavana brand by the end of next year. It already sells packaged tea under its Tazo brand, but the Teavana brand could be an even more upscale product, further supporting its consumer packaged-goods sales.

wait what? is teavana closing down?

I've heard rumors. Though when I was at one of the stores there was no sign that they were closing. So I'm not sure what to believe anymore.
