The term "haute couture" is French. Haute means "high" or "elegant." Couture literally means "sewing," but has come to indicate the business of designing, creating, and selling custom-made, high fashion women's clothes.

What is a Fashionista?
A term used to describe an avid follower of fashion, one working in or deeply involved with the high-fashion industry, such as a fashion designer, fashion model, photographer, buyer, fashion writer, or wearer; a devotee to clothing trends and fashion.

  I'm taking a summer pre-college program at an art university this summer, and my classes include fashion design, illustration, and construction. I'm excited! :O

Thank God it's easy to get cheap knock offs. XD A friend showed me an online store where they sold shirts that she designed (Though I'm pretty sure they're knock-offs) Very cool. And these same friends of mine also make shirts of their own. :3 I'm supposed to get one, but they didn't have any that they made in my size. D:

I'm thinking of holding a contest when I've got more to offer. An avatar contest more or less. However, I think it would be a creating the best avatar using a program. Comments?
