Avril broke her foccus on the figure in the window when she heard Ferdi snap at her. She turned to him and glared at him. Avril didn't take kindly to being talked down to, she'd had enough of that throughout her life. She flicked her finger at him and sent a psychic shock his way. Not a big one, just enough to sort of pinch him lightly. That was the most force she would allow herself to use. Once she'd used too much and caused her step father's best friend to black out. She was about six when it had happend and she'd hate to think what would happen now that her powers were far stronger. She pulled her black hood lower on her face and pulled her long red hair out from behind it so it fell down to her waist. Avril bit her lip to keep from smiling. She slightly enjoyed inflicting pain on others. She knew it was wrong, but it acted as a sort of release for her.

Once Avril was sure she could keep herself from smiling she refoccused her attention on the figure in the window. She could feel that it was a male. He was strong. Avril had to really work her way through his sheild. She wonderd what sort of a person would have so much time to train themself. Avril eventually got through his sheild. "Ryuzaki Nightengale". She said in a monotone voice. "He...he's a Push?" Avril heard herself ask. She already knew the answer, she didn't know why her mouth insisted on making her look like a stuttering dumb ass. Her attention snapped back to the students in front of her. Almost as if someone had cut the connection.

Feeling the intrusion on his mind almost immediately, Ryuzaki strengthened his mind's walls to the point where it would begin to crush the intruding force. He glanced out the window down at the girl, so, she thought she could get through his shield and into his mind eh? She had another thing coming. With the strong thought of Get Out!, he threw the other's mind out of his own and back into her own body so forcefully, it would most likely cause her to be dazed and see spots for awhile. He blocked off his mind completely from the other, his walls becoming iron clad, the mistake and penetration would not happen again. Being alone now, he turned away from it all, they were fools if they thought he was going to make it that easy on them. He shook his head, "childs play" he whispered to himself. He had had plenty of time to learn how to build his shields and focus his power in the ward, he was not going to be out done by cheap parlor tricks. Shaking his head a bit more, he moved along until he finally found his doorm. He walks inside, looking around the room a bit. Sure enough, boxes had been brought in of things for him to occupy himself and use while he was here. He closed the door, and leaned against it.

Ferdi rose from the bench now feeling the shock after waking from his semi concious state. "You better not make that a habit." He winced slightly "It could land you in hot water." He looked up at the window to where his other self was a few moments before. "So he can push people. That's very interesting. I'll have to see him again and let him know what else he can find here." He turned back to the girls. "I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day if you don't see me again, but I have to go and take care of a few things." He left the two girls and headed back to the dormitory and to his bedroom. He needed to think about what had just happened taking in what his other self had learnt. He also had to train his powers some more, every time he split himself his mind became slightly weaker. His record was five other Ferdi's at once but he only managed it for a few minuets before passing out. Either his skill had deteriorated over the school break or he faced someone that managed to deceive him very cleverly. He reached his door and entered the now cool room. The pale beige walls always bored him and he did all he could to cover up as much as possible. The wall space was taken up with furniture and posters some of which had fallen off the wall and lay in folded heaps. He collapsed on to his bed and stared up at the celling thinking what he could do. He had to get what he wanted out of him, but Ryuzaki obviously avoided social interaction like the plague. He gave a deep sigh and closed his eyes thinking about what a hectic year this could turn out to be. Before he knew it he was fast asleep.

Avril staggerd for a moment. Whoever that guy was up there was strong. He had pushed her out so hard that she was seeing spots for a few moments. She was so dazed that she hardly heard Ferdi threaten her. Avril put her hand to her forehead and bliked a few times. "Ugh.." She regained her sight and composure right as Ferdi was leaving. Avril sighed as she watched Ferdi leave. She should go find her dorm room now. She was tired and her powers were suffering because of it. "I think i'm going to go too." She said Looking down at Beth. "I guess i'll see you later?" She said as she walked away. Avril dug in the pocket of her fraying skirt and retrieved a crumpled pice of paper. She unfolded it as she walked, hiking her bags up higher on her sholder. Doorm Room 13. Was written on the paper in ink. It was smuged and fading. Avril shoved the paper back into her pocket and looked aroud at all the buildings. She approached a bilding with plants streaching and climbing up the sides. Avril smiled to herself. This was it. She could feel it. She pushed open the door ans walked up the stairs. "Thirteen...thirteen...thirteen.." She mumbled to herself as she walked down the long halway looking at every door she passed. "Ten...elevin...twelve.. Here we are. Thirteen." Avril fished in her bag for her key. They had sent it to her along with the acceptence letter. She unlocked the door and stepped inside, slaming it behind her. She threw her bags on the bed and looked around. Her room's walls were made up of red brick, her floor was tan plush carpeting, and her bed was a plain twin sized bed. She walked around her room, exploring every nook and cranny. She found a bathroom with all the esentials; a toilet, sink, and shower. She closed the door to the small room and continued to walk the perimiter of her room. She ran her fingers along the red brick, getting a feel for everyone here before her. There were many different emotions left here. Happieness, sadness, anger, frusrtation, greed, lonlyness, lustfullness. Wait, was that right? Avril paused and felt that spot again. "Oh?" Yup, that was deffinetly lust. She recoild her had quickly as if the feeling had bit her.Avril didnt want to imagine what could have happend there. She kept walking. Eventually, she cake to a window. It was small. About three feet by four feet. She unlatched it and pushed it open. The cool night air flooded into her room and swirled around her. Avril smiled as she fealt it cleanse her. That was exactly what she needed at this point. Avril turned away from the window slowly and went to her bed where she'd thrown her bags. She unzipped the first one and took out a small puch of stones, her medicine bag. She placed it carfully on the desk next to her bed. Next she took out three posters. One Puddle of Mud, one Green Day, and one Avenged Sevenfold. She smiled as she hung each one up. Already she was begining to feel better.

Nodding along as Ferdi explained the school's system, Beth thought that it more or less matched up with what she had expected. The teachers were probably a lot harder to manipulate than the ones as the school she had gone to previously. That meant that getting into fights probably wasn't going to be a good idea. Not that she actively sought them out. They simply... happened. Usually because people never learned to leave her alone about her height.

Frowning slightly, she was only vaguely paying attention to what was going on around her, lost in her thoughts as she was. She did, however, pick up enough to figure out that they had bothered someone they shouldn't have. It also seemed that whomever the mystery person was, they were a student named Ryuzkai Nightingale. But that all mattered little to Beth. She had already felt the presence, analyzed it, and dismissed it without ever actually touching his mind.

With a simple nod and a wave, Beth let Arvil go to her dorm, though the thought of sleep was very tempting. Loath as she was to admit it, her body did require more sleep than a normal person of her age. Having memorized her room number, she wasted no time in heading towards it after sufficient time had passed for Arvil to get to her own dorm, though her reason for waiting so long was to get a feel for the school telepathically.

A few moments later, she stood inside her dorm, throwing her backpack to the floor rather carelessly and locking the door. Number twelve. In numerology, it was a good number, so she had that going for her she supposed. And the room was rather well-furnished, though she was already beginning to miss the luxuries she had "collected" in the abandoned building she lived at. All she had thought to bring that wouldn't draw undue attention were some of her clothes, all of them appearing ratty in some way or the other. She tended to wear clothes until they were falling apart on her. Not growing meant that she didn't need new clothes all that often after all.

Yawning, she swapped her clothes out for her silk nightgown, leaving her clothes on the black carpet where they landed. The pastel pink coloring and the frills and ruffles made her feel that it was a bit childish, but it was incredibly comfortable. Besides that, it wasn't like anyone was going to see her or anything, so it was okay in her book. Thankfully, the bed had a blanket, sheets, and a pillow, though noticeably smaller than the one she had. She sighed and crawled into bed, the cotton and fleece of the purple comforter weighing on her in a surprisingly comfortable way. Maybe it won't be so bad after all, she thought before darkness carried her away.

Avril went back to her bags after she'd hung up about ten posters of various bands. She pulled out some books she'd picked up from a local wiccan store. Luckily wiccan stores carried books about psychic abilities. Avril didn't necciserily belive everything she read, but it was interesting to see the thoughts of 'normal' people on people like her. She cracked open one book and smiled as she saw her own handwriting scrawled along the margens in red ink. Avril liked to take notes correcting the books. She closed the book and lined them all up in a row on her desk. Next she went to her bag and took out her guitar stand. Avril had to leave her gutar at home, it was too much for her to carry at the moment on her own. She'd figured that she would just be able to head back home really quick and pick up her amp and her electric. That was out of the question now. She wasn't allowed to leave school grounds untill graduation. She sighed. Avril's electric was like her baby. She didn't know what she'd do without it. "Damn it!" She cursed to herself. "I guess ill just have to make do. Maybe they have an instrument store on campus?" She said out loud to herself. She doubted that they did but saying the words made her slighty hopeful. Avril went back to unpacking her bags. Next to come out was her clothes. She pulled out a stack of neatly folded shirts, most of them black, red, white, or a deep purple. She shoved them into the dresser's top drawr and grabbed out her bottoms fron her bag. A good majority were old, vintige, pelted skirts. Some pants. And almost all of them were teared or frayed. She put them all into the seccond drawr. As Avril continued to get out her clothes she thought that the room was far too quiet. She was used to hearing her step father yelling in the next room over. As a substitute she pulled out her i-pod and portible speakers. She pluged them in and put on her music. As a rock song began blearing from the speakers she went back to her bag. Toothbrush and toothpaste were next. She walked into the bathroom and set them down on the counter. Right as she was about to leave, Avril fealt a strange shock being sent up her spine. Avril gritted her teeth in pain. "Wha-" She began, but she never got to finnish the thought. She fell on the floor and started shaking uncontrolibly. She was having a vision.. she needed to release it somehow! Avril forced herself to crawl to her bad and yank out her notebook. Still shaking she wrenched it open, pulled out a pencil, and put it to the paper. Her hand started drawing a picture but Avril was in too much pain to look. As soon as her hand had finnished its job Avril blacked out and collapsed.

The sudden explosion of noise from the room next door sent Beth rudely back into realm of the awake, though that was nothing compared to the psychic backlash that followed shortly after. Partially, it was her fault. Upon waking up, her mind automatically sent out a pulse to detect any possible threats in her immediate area not to mention that normally, her shields would have been up as always, but they usually slipped a little when she first woke up. That openness, even for just a moment, was what allowed the surge of psychic energy to hit her so hard.

After she recovered from the migraine, she stood, knees shaking, and made her way slowly over to the room, number thirteen to be specific. Numbly, she opened the unlocked door and peered inside, the rock music throbbing in rhythm with her migraine. She winced as she entered, holding one hand to her head and the other to the wall to keep from falling down. Due to the pain, it took her a bit to realize that Arvil was the one on the ground, blacked out. Still, her first priority was to turn off the grating music so that she could think straight. Once it was off, blessed silence filled the hallway.

The picture in front of Arvil that she had apparently drawn was... strange to say the least. Having never been much of an art person, Beth didn't pay much attention to the picture, though she wouldn't have paid that much attention even if she loved art because of the unconscious girl nearby. Waking her up after such a psychic episode was really a terrible idea, so Beth merely contented herself with straightening the girl's body into a more comfortable position and laying a blanket over top of her. The thought of being caught helping someone was rather nauseating to Beth, who hated the spotlight with a burning passion. So instead of staying to make sure she was okay, she left, locking the door behind her and went back to her own room to curl up on the bed and go to sleep in peace. Before she drifted off however, she did use her telepathy to prompt Arvil into REM sleep rather than unconsciousness. That way she would get some rest throughout the night.

Avril woke up gasping for air. She took in so much air she started to choke. She sat up fast and coughed hard. That was a mistake. Avril lost her vision for a few moments due to the head rush. She put her hand to her temples and rubbed jently. "What the hell happend?" She asked into the empty room. As she regained her vision she noticed that there had been a blanket thrown over her. She threw it off and rubbed at her neck. She was so stiff and her back hurt like hell.

Avril looked arounf the room confused. Something near her dresser caught her eye. Not wanting to force herself to stand up yet she crawled over to it. "My journal.." She picked it up and leafed through the pages. All past visions. Avril's stomach hurt to remember them all. All the horribl things she'd predited but could never stop. When she got to the newset page she froze. Her fingers lightly ran over the thick paper. Avril shiverd as she decoded the picture.

There was a man sitting on a pile of something. Smears of ink all over him and around the floor. Avril's hand found her throught. The man in her vision was sitting on a pile of bodies..dead bodies. Her stomach churned. She looked closer at the man. She couldn't quite make out his features. Avril's attention was brought to the side of the drawing. There was a shadow from somthing. Avril reccognised that shadow, it was the gate to the school. "What?" Avril stood up, her journal still in her hands.

Avril bit her lip. Even if she told someone they wouldn't believe her. just like home, they'd think she was crazy and ignore her. Then when the terrible deeds actually came true, everyone would fear her. She'd had to deal with so much talk back at her old high school. Once someone had gotten ahold of her journal and had spread the drawings around. Soon rumers were poping up all over the place about her. Like she was a witch, or she was causing all of theses disasters. Even the falculty was affraid of her. The roumers weren't exactly what botherd Avril. because she'd kept to herself so much people had always thought up crazy explinations as to why. No, what had bother her was the fact that she didn't have the power to changeher visions. To help all thoses poor people.

Avril walked to her door and placed her hand on the knob. She had to do dsomething. If she didn't, everyone in the school could suffer. But who would she tell? Who would trust her? Avril threw open the door, slamed it behind her, and with her journal tucked under her arm she headed downstairs. Maybe she could find Ferdi. So far he was the one with the most senority in this place. She hoped he'd be able to help. But first she had to get him to listen.

Avril hurried out into the courtyard. She closed her eyes and searched for his energy. Avril couldn't feel him. She opend her eyes and started walking, keeping her sheild up and searching for Ferdi's energy.

Ferdi was fast asleep on his bed giving the occasional snore. He was still wearing his clothes from the day before having not really made any effort to do anything since he arrived. His room was still a mess, his bag was still packed and he hadn't gone around enough to notice if there was anything different about the place. Students would be arriving at around lunch time with school actually starting the day after.

He rolled over in his sleep filled state saying an inconceivable garble of speech as he did so and gave a heavy sigh. His room was dark with only a slither of light coming from the window. He rolled over again but this time falling over the side of the bed partially waking up from his body no longer being in contact with the mattress of the bed. He pulled on his duvet in the hope that the quilt would save him from his fall only to thud into the carpet below him. He gave a loud groan and unwrapped himself out of the duvet and pulled himself up to look at his alarm clock. Being half asleep still and not paying attention all he could make out on the green digital face was a four, not having any idea where it was he made the assumption that it was four in the morning and decided to wake him self up then actually try and sleep again.

He walked up to his dresser and pulled out a towel while grabbing a bottle of shower gel and leaving the room. Ferdi's dorm room was in an older block so the rooms didn't have on suite bathrooms like the newer rooms did, with each floor having a communal shower block shared by all the dorm members of that floor. Of course with Ferdi being on his own it would be quieter then usual and decided to enjoy the quiet that would then turn to chaos in less then a day.

He entered the tile filled room and dumped his stuff on a bench. He then proceeded to undress and walk to the shower stalls, he turned one of them and yelped as the cold water hit his skin, soon the water heated up and he started to clean himself and wake himself up. He enjoyed warm showers as it allowed him to think about things he normally wouldn't do at other points during the day. He finished his shower and went to dry himself, he towelled off and walked back to his room carrying his clothes and towel. He didn't bother to put it on as there was no one else around, he wasn't ashamed of himself, he had a nice body and knew it, he wasn't stick thin but didn't look like he lived in a gym, he thought he was just right.

He entered his room and walked over to a dresser pulling out clothes for the day ahead, he decided to put on his uniform just to see if it still fit him, not that he had changed much over the break. He was glad to see that it still fit him and he grabbed a small book and pencil which he always kept in his blazer pocket. His uniform was a dark navy blue blazer and trousers with a white shirt and tie that was two shades of red in thick diagonal lines separated by a thin white line. Shoes weren't an issue as you could wear what you like as long as you had everything else, he had a black pair of converse trainers that were starting to look rather tatty after rigorous and almost continuous use for the last 3 years that he had them for. He always had his sleeves rolled up and his top button undone with his tie a bit loose around his neck, he didn't like having tie all the way up, he felt suffocated when it was like that. He looked out the window to see what it was like out and he saw a figure wandering around below. "Who the heck is that?" He decided to leave the room and investigate who the mysterious person was walking in the moon light.

Avril searched the school grounds, her psychic energy spiking you in every direction. She held her forehead in one hand and clutched her journal in the other. She held onto it so tightly that her knuckes were turning white. Avril staggerd a few times as she walked. Her head was killing her and her vision was still burry. The after effects to Avril's visions were never this savier. They lasted for about twenty minutes at the most. Her simptoms now were greatly magnified and so much more intence. Avril stoped for a moment and closed her eyes. She felt like everything around her was spinning out of controll. But she knew that she had to keep going untill she found Ferdi. Avril took a deep breath and pushed off of the planter she was leaning on for support.

Avril kept sending out her energy, looking everywhere for Ferdi's but all she got back was a bunch of sleeping students'. She looked up at the windows of the dorm rooms above her. All the lights were off and the blinds were shut. All but one. Avril strained her eyes to be able to see straight. She couldn't make out who was in the window. She sent her energy up to whoever was up there but she was too weak from her vision to break through their psychic sheild. Avril walked closer to the doorm entrence. She struggled to get to the door and when she finnaly did she gripped the handle tightly. She rested her back on the door and sighed. She closed her eyes and foccused on regaining some of her strength. Avril breathed deep and centerd herself. She used the energy from the plants around her to help urge her energy back. As Avril opend her eyes she exhaled through her mouth. Everything around her seemed clearer. She could see the moon above her in the purple sky. She could see each and every star. She could even see the small particles of dust swirling around her and everything else.

Avril spun around quickly and wretched open the door. She hurried up the staires and into the hallway and crashed right into someone. "Oh! Im sorry." She said, not paying attention to who she'd hit. She looked up at the tall figure and gasped, relieved. "Ferdi! Oh, thank god! I need your help!" She breathed. She grabbed him by the wrist and started hurrying hown the hall. "Which one's yours?" She asked, slightly frantic.

Lillian rode silently in the passenger seat as her twin drove her to the Academy she had researched. When she sent in her application she never expected it to be real. She looked to her twin, Sasha, and had to stifle a tear. As per her letter, she wouldn't be able to have contact with anyone outside the walls of her new school.
"I'm gonna miss you," Lillian mumbled as she looked down. Sasha looked to her and smiled.
"I'll miss you too. Just remember, I can visit you at your job. They are letting you keep your job, right," Sasha asked. Lillian slid down in her seat a little as she put her letter to her mouth.
"I don't know," she grunted. She was kind of feeling hurt that neither of her parents wanted to see her off. They hadn't even bothered to say good bye to her before she left. In fact, the last time she had seen them was a few days ago when she was just finishing up packing. Her father had been standing in the doorway smiling triumphantly.
"You're going to love it there, I'm sure. Just be . . . just be good," he had said awkwardly.
She brushed it off. He obviously didn't care enough. Her mother had been worse though. She didn't say anything to her when Lillian accidentally bumped into her in the kitchen. But things had been left sour with their last conversation. Her mother had finally been honest about her feelings and had called Lillian a "freak of nature" and a "mistake."

Lillian contented herself with looking out the car window. Sasha passed many long patches of forest before she finally pulled up to the school. The car stopped and the girls looked to each other. Sasha looked away toward the school.
"Wow! Looks gorgeous," she said with awkward excitement. Lillian looked up at it.
"I guess it's all right." she said under her breath. She didn't want to be separated from her twin. But she knew she would be okay. Twins are born with links and depending on how they develop it, it can become stronger or weaker. Since Lillian knew her twin was an empath, she knew their link was stronger.
Lillian couldn't help it. A tear came to her eye and she began to cry.
"Do they hate me that much that they'd rather send me away? What's so different about us anyway," she sobbed. Sasha grabbed Lillian up in a hug and just held her.
"You know I don't hate you. I'll always be here for you. And now I know where to find you. You know we'll meet tonight, I promise," Sasha tried to comfort her the best she could. Lillian pulled away and smiled.
"I'll be waiting by that oak tree," she said as she pointed to the one behind her.
"I'll be there," Sasha grinned.
Lillian opened the door as Sasha popped the trunk. Lillian grabbed all her suitcases which were on wheels. She then closed the lid once all her luggage was out. Sasha walked around the car to Lillian and they both looked upon the school.
"You know what room you're in," Sasha asked.
"I'm room 18," Lillian answered. They embraced one last time before Lillian walked toward the front gate. She pushed one open and walked through them with her luggage. She turned to wave good bye to her twin who was still outside her car, waiting. Lillian looked around the school grounds, taking in her new home. It was beautiful. It was a bit of a walk to the doors but she made it there as the sun began to set.
Shoot, won't have any light to find my way around outside she thought. She followed the signs and they led her to the hallway where her dorm room was. She walked slowly, looking at each number to find 18. When she did she opened the door and was instantly amazed. It was wonderful. She opened her cases and put her clothes away in her dresser and closet. She made up her bed with all her sheets and quilts. She then set up her collectibles and her laptop. By the time she was done her room looked even better if that was possible. She was tired and decided to go to sleep. She was also eager to see her twin, so she wouldn't get homesick too soon after arriving.

Marco couldn't help but to snort obnoxiously as he arrived in front of the school. "So this is it, huh? No dragon guards, or vampires? Laaame. This better not be just another stupid school."

Marco hopped out of the car as soon as it came to a complete halt, not bothering with goodbyes or anything unnecessary like that. He was sure they would stay parked there until he 'made it into the school safely', anyways. He rolled his eyes at the thought. Overly protective parents, check.

Marco stood there a moment, observing the school. People talking, chatting. Pretty normal things. Marco inhaled briefly, before letting out a long, exaggerated sigh. He dug his hands through his jacket pocket, pulling out a neatly folded piece of paper. His long fingers held the slip in front of his nose as he studied it, remembering his room number. He normally would've burned it afterwards, but he had an odd feeling this school was just one giant trap, and he didn't want to draw attention to himself. His instincts were usually wrong, but still.

The blonde trotted up to the door, taking a tight grip on the handle. He gave one last look to his car, before walking into the building. Still pretty normal. He cautiously walked down the hallways, readying himself for any ambushes or surprise attacks. He pressed himself tightly against a wall when he saw a male and female hurrying down, the female obviously in search of something. He shrugged them off, not wanting to say hello or waste any time with introductions.

Marco was relieved, but slightly disappointed when he reached his dorm unharmed. He barged into his room, his protective state of mind now completely gone. He groaned the second he took a good look at his dorm room.

He was use to king sized beds, silk sheets, and a tray of tea sitting nicely on his nightstand waiting for him to enjoy. Instead he had a remarkably smaller bed, with normal sheets, and absolutely no tray of tea to be found. Great. He threw his largely packed backpack to the ground, before plopping face down onto his bed. Today, he decided, was not going to be a very good day.

Ryu herd the noises of the people moving about, and only fell deeper into his own mind. He pulled the covers over his head, and laid in the darkness of the room. He wished they would all go away, and that he could go back to his cell. That was saddening, and he shook his head from those thoughts, and looked at the darkness of his blankets. He slowly slipped out of his bed, and moved to the door, cracking it open a bit. Tilting his head, he watched a few people move about. They were to loud, and it was begining to get on his nerves. He soon felt the prescence of two new minds, and figured more students were arriving. He slipped out of his room barefoot, not minding the cold floor under his feet. He moved to the end of the hall, careful not to be seen by the noise makers. Slipping down the staits, he watched as a female came and then a male. He kept his mind to himself this time, not wanting to be anywhere near someone elses at the moment. Part of him told him to go back to his room and to stay there, but he resisted, and moved further down to the main hall itself. He avoided both of the newcomers as they headed to the doorms, it was odd that all had grown tired after getting here. He was now growing curious about this place, and moved around to investigate a little bit. His mind busy reaching out to scan the area a bit. He only felt the simple minds of rats and such in the walls, so far nothing of great importance. Sighing a bit, he crouched down on the balls of his feet, and bit his thumb.

Ferdi was taken aback from Avril's sudden burst of energy from finding him. Before he had time to do anything he was dragged back inside and was asked to Avril to his room. He took her hand seeing her urgency to find somewhere private. He noticed other students were arriving sensing a few more signatures, he pushed past a some blonde kid without paying to much attention to him, he noticed that Ryu was peeking at the commotion but just ignored him not to cause trouble. "My room is further down the building but on the top floor." He led Avril up grand staircases leading to the top floor. He ran down the hall with Arvril hot on his heels. "In here." He opened the door and let her in. "Sorry about the mess. I don't normally have visitors. Now what's the problem?"

Groaning at the residual pain from the migraine the night before, Beth sat up in her bed, confused for a moment as to where she was. Then it clicked that she was at the Academy and she gave a huff as she went about getting ready for the day. After a warm shower, an aspirin, and a mug of peppermint tea, she was more or less ready for the day. Her clothes were typical; her dark blue t-shirt, loose black cargo pants, and her black and red Osiris shoes.

After she left her room and making certain that she wouldn't be seen, she peeked her head into Avril's room. Seeing that the latter wasn't in there gave her a feeling of relief, though she was careful not to let it show as she closed the door and left. Her involuntary scanning revealed that there were at least two new students that had arrived since yesterday, which she reacted to with mixed feelings. Part of her enjoyed the company of other people, but the other part rejected such company, and that was the part that usually won out, which resulted in her gruff and abrasive demeanor.

Shaking her head of the thoughts, she proceeded to wander in the general direction of what she remembered to be the library. As she wandered through the boys' dormitory, which was between the girls' dormitory and the library, she caught onto a mind that was scanning the area. Curiosity peaked, she threw up a shadow to conceal herself and gently probed it. Unlike the night before, she was far more careful and made sure that her touch was impossible to feel, though that meant that it was just a light grazing to see the psychic signature. It was strangely familiar, though it wasn't someone that she thought she knew. Taking a deep breath, she pushed a little more and asked, "Who are you?" He, for she could tell that much after her gentle push, should have felt it, though it was impossible to tell until he answered her.

Avril rushed into Ferdi's room, not hearing him appologizing for the mess. She pushed him asside so she could close the door and locked it. She ran to his window, closed it and drew the blinds shut. Avril then looked around the room as she searched for other's energy. She could have no intrusions what so ever. Seeing that there were no notible energys to be found, Avril pushed Ferdi onto his bed ans plopped down next to him.

Avril silently took her journal out from under her arm and placed it between them on the bed. Suddenly nervous, Avril picked at her skirt. And realixed it was the same one she'd had on the day before. She hadn't botherd to change. Too much had happend for her to be to do anything at all, really. She shook the thoughts from her head and opend her journal, searching for her desierd page. The thick pages made a sort of wobling sound as she turned them quickly, searching for the right one. Avril finaly came across the one she was looking for and rotated her book so it was facing Ferdi.

Avril took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "This," She said, slightly reluctant to tell him everything. "Is my vision journal. I have visions, you see and the only way I can get them out is to put them on paper." Her voice quaverd a little at the start of that sentence. Avril bit her tounge, angry with herself for letting her fear show. She closed her eyes and began again, "All of my visions, at some point, become real. And if this one does, we'll have a big problem." Avril opend her eyes and looked at Ferdi to see his expression. If he believed her or not.

Ryu's mind immediately shut down at the intrusion, his thoughts and feelings becoming blank. When he noticed the speaking towards him, he pushed the other mind away from his own. 'Get out' he thought with a bit of harshness behind it. He hated when people intruded on his mind, it was the quick way to get on his bad side. He was more to respond nicer to direct contact first then to another's mind in his own. His mind was his, his special place and his personal space, those who intruded without being invited or asking were not welcome in any way. Standing, he turned to look around a bit at the surrounding area. Following the sense, he soon found the younger girl who had intruded. He backs her to the wall without a care, placing a hand on either side of her and leaning in close so their forheads were against eachother. "Stay out of my mind unless your invited, or next time I will crush you" he says seriously. He turns away, walking along the hall without a glance back.

He found his way along in the hall to a door, pausing as he felt a mind within. It was a dark one, he could feel that for sure, and turning to the door, he used his mind to flick the lock open. Walking inside, he noticed a glass container in the corner of the classroom. There was a large snake inside, that was watching a mouse who had been left inside for its' dinner. He moved over to the glass, slowly crouching down, he looks into the tank at the reptile as it eyed the mouse chewing on a seed. He found it slightly fasctinating, looking at the snake as it began slipping out of its log, and slinking along up behind the mouse. He did not take his eyes off of it, as it lunged out and caught the mouse in its' jaw. He could feel the raw hunger and nature in the mind of the snake, so simple and primal. His own begins to tighten around and push into the tiny skull. The snake began to writh and squirm a bit, bitting down on the mouse. He stops, standing up from the tank.

Lillian heard all the commotion outside and was curious to see some of the other residents. After wandering around a bit she saw a couple of blonde boys, one passing the other while holding onto a red head's hand.
Haha, a couple trying to rendezvous. Precious, she thought to herself. She decided to follow them a bit, the redheaded girl seemed as though she had something important on her mind. Lillian began to meditate so she could astral project. In this form no one woud be able to sense her and she was invisible to the naked eye. She knew that if she followed them she would hear something interesting.
She stopped as the two disappeared into a room. She was able to wade through the door and heard the redhead speak.
Visions, huh? Sounds like me, only I don't need a journal, she thought with a half smile. She was a little curious so she moved to stand behind the girl, hoping she would open the book soon.

Avril felt a cold, prickling sensation on the back of her neck. She shiverd and twisted her body around so she could see behind her. There was nothing there. Avril didn't trust just sight. She knew that there were ways around that. Especially at this school. Avril stood up from the bed and walked close to the door. She could feel a precence. She had the suspicion that someone was watching her. Avril glared at the door, angerd by the intrusion. Get out! She shot towards whoever it was. Then she flicked her finger and shot a dagger of pain using her empath abilities towards them. She figured that they'd get the message. Leave! Now! Or you'll be feeling a lot more pain!
Avril grumbled as she checked the locks on the door. She wasn't in any mood to be messed with. Her visions usually left her in an angry state. And when she was like that she had no self controll. Once she'd been so mad after a vision and she'd forced so much pain onto her chemistry teacher that she passed out. She just couldn't controll her anger. Or her empath abilities.

Once she was sure that the area was once again secure, Avril sat back down on Ferdi's bed. She looked at his face for any hints of dissbelief. She hoped he could help her. She didn't know who else she could go to.

Dodging the push sloppily due to surprise, Beth thought, "You're pretty good. I didn't actually believe that you'd sense me." To avoid angering him too much further as she sensed him near, she withdrew back to her undetectable state as she felt him head towards her. Unbeknownst to him, however, was that she allowed him to find her by removing her psychic shadow. He got the last laugh when he shoved her up to the wall though. "You don't have to be such a jerk!" she hollered at him after he had left. "And I'd love to see you try!" followed shortly after, directed with a dagger-like stabbing towards his mind.

Stalking away and mumbling under her breath, Beth did eventually come across the library. The building was massive and full of dusty old books. At first glance, it seemed highly unlikely to carry the type of books that she loved, namely manga and fantasy stories involving knights, wizards, and fair maidens, though she would never admit any of that to anyone. Pursing her lips, she began to search, looking at row upon row upon row of tomes. Some of them were bigger than her head, while others were small enough to disappear between the books juxtaposed to it.

Eventually though, she did find a section for fictional works, surprising her with the modern feel of that particular section. Apparently the Academy was much older than she had originally expected. She picked through the titles tediously, discounting those that she had already read for the most part before she picked out a volume she hadn't read and curled up in the couch nearby to browse it. The size of the selection was actually rather impressive, even to Beth's inherent cynicism. Being so far into the building was also a positive, as it meant taht few would actually see her reading such things.

Ferdi was still trying to take in what Avril was telling him after she had finished slamming doors, shutting curtains and making the room seem dark and claustrophobic. He pushed him on to his bed and then joined him throwing what looked like a note pad on to the duvet. He flicked through the parchment seeing that it was filled with sketches. He examined each on before coming to one that looked newer then the others. "A vision journal you say? This is the first that I've seen of them but I have heard of them. You say that everything that you have drawn in this book was a vision of an event that then happened?" He looked at the latest drawing but couldn't make anything out other then it looked as though it was set at the school. "I don't really know what to make of this, I don't really look into these things. Although there may be a teacher here that can help you. I don't know who but I'm sure that if you asked a senior member of staff they could point you in the right direction." He gave her a reassuring smile to hopefully calm her down.

Avril suddenly shot off the bed and headed to the door sensing that someone was nearby, he instantly decided that looking for the suspect may be a good plan. He looked around the room to find that the suspect wasn't in fact in the room but was nearby. "It's nothing to worry about. I don't think that anyone is here any more." He lied. She was clearly on edge and he didn't want her to injure herself. "I think that you should go back to your room and get some rest. You've obviously been stressed out by this event and you need to get a more clear look at things. I might also point out that you'll need to change into your uniform soon." He led Avril out of the room and waved her goodbye. He walked back into his room and searched for unknown item in the room. "Okay munchkin out you come, you can do this now and it will be easy or you can meet me in an irritated state up to you?"

Avril crossed her arms, angry and frustrated with Ferdi's reaction to her news. "Fine! Don't believe me." She called after him. It was useless, it was clear he wasn't comming back. She sighed and leaned against the wall of the hallway. Avril knew that she shouldn't be surprised. She couldn't really expect a student to aknowlage what she'd convayed to him. Avril closed her eyes and leand her hed against the wall. She felt helpless and ashamed. She shouldn't have told him. She should have just kept it to herself. She should have learned this by now.

Avril pushed herself off the wall and sighed. She figured Ferdi was right. The school day should be starting soon and she needed to get ready. She briskly walked back to her dorm room and opend the door. "Good old thirteen." She said to herself as she closed and locked the door behind her. Avril went to her dresser and got out her uniform. The gold and black uniform consisted of a pleated skirt, a shirt, a tie, and a blazer. She grabbed a towle and went to her bathroom. Relived that her dorm had its own shower, Avril undressed, turned the water on, waited for it to warm up, and got in. She looked down at her feet, relaying the events of the day.

She had baraly been at the school a day, and already she'd mannaged to make a fool of herself. She sighed and contined to wash herself. Avril stepped out of the shower and shiverd. It was far too cold for her liking. She towled off and pulled on her unifrom. Avril looked at herself in the mirror. She looked like a mess. Her red hair was tangled and messy- and now wet -, her skin was paler than usual, and her green eyes were now a shade of grey. She blinked, trying to get them back to their normal color. Her eyes gave away her mood far too often. After a few tries, Avril decided that it was useless. She'd just have to wait for them to change back on her own. She hoped no one would notice.

Grabbing her hairbrish, Avril left the bathroom. She went over to her i-pod and picked it up, scrolling through the various rock and punk bands within it. She finnaly dicided on one and put the earbuds into her ears. Avril brushed her hair as she walked around her room, thinking. Her neck was stiff and her back ached. Avril rubbed the back of her neck, trying to massage away the pain. It didn't work. Once her hair was brushed, Avril pulled on her black combat boots and headed out the door. She shut and locked it, double checking to make sure no one could get in. he walked down the hallway and out to the courtyard. If only she knew when and where her classes were...

He brushed off her foolish attempt at attack. She thought she had let him do anything or that she could hide her mind's activity, she could go on believing that. He rolled his eyes a bit, people here were so...odd. He could crush a mind similar to how he had begun to do with the snake if he really wanted to, but killing someone so soon into the year would probrably not be a good idea. He sat down against the wall, pulling his knees close to his body and hiding his face for a moment as he thought. They needed to stay out of his head, the one place that was truly his own. He looked up a bit, the psychic energy inside of him causing his eyes to glow with a red energy for a moment, before they returned to their almost black color. He placed his mind's shield up, making it impenatrable by others now, his thoughts, his mind's prescence and everything being locked down to the point where to the outside or other minds it would appear as if he had no activity in his mind at all. He had many years to perfect this aspect of his power in the asylem, they were not going to get in, he would make sure of that.

After staring at the page in her book for several minutes and seeing nothing, Beth closed it with a sigh and stood to put it back, being careful that she wouldn't be seen doing so. In the back of her mind, she could sense everyone in the entire school. All of their thoughts were beginning to make it feel like the city again, though not to the same level. What she was most aware of, however, was the mind of the strange boy from before. From her brief grazing of his mind earlier, she had learned quite a lot about him, or at least his abilities. For example, his shield was strong, though it had a couple of small holes that she would be able to exploit if necessary.

A few other things had come to her attention since, though that was pretty much because of how he acted rather than how his mind felt. His arrogance was one such thing that had been shown through his actions. From that, she could infer that he had never been opposed in his life, or at least not to any extent that mattered. Frowning, she decided to go see Arvil and, secretly, make sure she was okay. First she checked that the psychic shadow she had created was still being maintained, which it was. While it wouldn't keep people from seeing her, it was impossible for people to detect her presence through psychic means. Actually being invisible would require individually pushing the minds of those around her that they hadn't seen her.

Several times over the course of her walk, Beth had to change direction as Avril did, first heading one way, then heading back, etc. It was a bit annoying, but eventually she managed to catch up to the taller girl in the courtyard. "Hey, Avril? How's it going?" she thought, subconsciously slipping into her old routine. It was a flaw to growing up around people that she could manipulate like puppets. Protocol didn't really exist for her where controlling her powers was concerned. That was why she had done what she had to the boy before.

Avril cover her ears with her hands as she herd a voice inside her head. She hated when people intrueded on her mind. It was a sacred place. A place where only she was allowed. She groand and turned around, surprised to see Beth close by. She figured that Beth must have been the one who had sent her that telapathic message. "Oh, hi Beth. You know, its sort of rude to enter other's minds uninvited." She said in the nicest was pissible. She didn't want to come off sounding mean, she just liked her privacy. And Avril could tell that Beth usually didn't think twice about using her powers on others. It was really none of Avril's buisness how Beth used her powers, as long as they weren't used on her. She could really care less what she did to other people.

Avril looked down at Beth's close and realized that she wasnt wearing her uniform and that the school day would be starting soon. "Don't we have to be in uniform on Mondays?" She asked, not entierly sure. It was a sort of foolish question, considering who she was asking. Beth probobly knew as much as she did. "Errm.. stupid question. Lets go back to your room. We can figure things out there." She suggested. Just as Avril started heading towards the girls' dorms, she realized that she'd left her journal at Ferdi's. Avril bit her lip and figured that she could just ask him for it the next time she saw him.

NOTE:
There has been some confusion in the RP as far as Psychic Powers go. Everyone is supposed to have a different powers as to create variety. If you find that you have one or more of the same powers as another player, please change it. The player with the higher sinorety gets first choice as to if they wish to keep that specific power, or give it up. Please also take into consideration that everyone's Psychic Powers need to be reccognized. If someone does something via a power, other players have no right to exnay that power. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to PM me. Thanks!
