I honestly think you're god powers issue would be solved either with a screening, ex. people send you say... three powers off the list and you narrow it down to one, or you say if you pick such and such power you have such and such consequence with it.

So are you saying just scrap the classes all together? And what I will be adding is how it is up to your responsibility to realize that the magic is not free, it does drain the user and whatnot.

er.. I suppose I'm a little biased because nothing that I was considering was on the list but that's because I don't know the game, which is not helpful. If I was you I would just ask them to send one power to me with a brief description and also with the effects. If you've ever seen darker than black you could do a system similar to that.

I'm still working on adding more, and I am more than willing to trying and add other abilities. I may pick up the fewer abilities, but more powers so that I can research other abilities to comply with more characters that people may already have.

I never have seen Darker than Black, would you be willing to describe it a bit?

hmm that is very interesting fact but i think you should make a consequence for the power your self SMG instead having them do it because they could make the consequence the way they want you know? but he does have a very good point

in darker than black there are these people called contractors. These contractors weren't always like emotionless dolls until this huge explosion thing where all these people were suddenly capable of magnificent and horrifying things. The main character Hei, is very peculiar in that he has the ability to electrocute people just by touch or his whip sword thing, but he still maintains human emotions. All contractors have to pay a price for using their powers, for example, November 11th has to smoke after every time he uses his powers. April has to drink after every time she uses her powers. Another character would be Hei's closest friend, she digresses in age every time she goes back/ forward in time.

Often times the contractors make decisions based on the most logical choice, they side with enemies if it will let them live or make them rich. Contractors also feel no connections between one another and normal people, also normal people have no idea that they even exist. Hei, the poor guy, is blessed and cursed because he's probably the only contractor who's not really a contractor so he feels everything just like a normal person but he has superpowers. The powers can range from freezing people to manipulating air, the known powers are only limited by how many contractors we get to see.

Hmm, it is definitely an interesting concept. I'm trying to see how that would relate to this seeing as most mages just drain magic when they use their powers ^^;; A lot of people know them as using 'mana'. Though it would be interesting, even if it was just a craving they got once their powers rejuvenated or something XP It could act as a sort of comic relief, or even get the characters into more trouble XD I shall think on this one, it could be silly XD

I don't want to put anyone off with what I say, I have the bias of the game which is my issue, so that means I had this little idea in my head XD I'm trying to be open to it, but yeah, my previous idea is all like 'no, you can't do this, it's not the original plan'. Also I can be a tad stubborn at times so just bare with me XD Though my fear of going with that power idea is that it could give too much ease into god-modding and people not following their skeleton; granted most people on here do if they join my RPs, but we've had issues...

Im so glad i know the game lol... Im suggesting we go with the first game tree. It would be alot easier and people would honestly not be able to god mod very well.

If going with the first, do you think I should hunt down other tree ideas so there are more options?

I would say hunt down some more trees. Spread out the options abit but keep it to the origional DA ya know?
