Here in my aquarium, I can make new friends, have fun, and keep a record of my goals, achievements, and my dream avatars. :)

Allow me to introduce myself! You can call me Squid! I'm your average cephalopod, more or less. I love to chat, write, watch movies and tv, play games, listen to music, read books. In a few weeks, I will turn 22 years old. I'm a geezer! :D I'm not currently in school, but I hope to be soon.

I'm an aspiring Renaissance Re-enactment performer. I hope to one day perform as a Knight for festivals all across the country. On the side, I'm a pastry chef :) I love to cook, bake, and create in the kitchen! I have a deep love for the color orange lol And believe it or not, my favorite food is spinach :D

That's pretty much me, in a nutshell! If you have questions about me, feel free to ask!

Rules

2.) Be kind to others, please! Your mother would be mighty ashamed if she found out that you were being a jerk!
3.) Keep swearing to a minimum. I don't mind it much, but there are young persons about.
4.) Don't pick fights with people in my thread. This is an aquarium, not a battle arena :\
5.) Anyone found to be breaking my rules will be asked to leave. If you do not leave, I will involve higher powers. Please, do not make me have to do such a thing.

Renaissance Faire!? I love going there and have my own costume as well. Been thinking for the past couple of years that it's time to upgrade to one of those crushed velvet gowns with the brocade. Love them! Yet they can get terribly warm, especially now that we live in the desert, seems like not such a good idea anymore.

I have a few costumes, myself :) I have two bodices and black skirts and a decorative corset that I bought last year. I'm actually going to a friend's house tomorrow to finish my new costume :D I'm really excited about it. And yeah, those velvet gowns are hot! I wore one a few years ago and I nearly DIED from the heat!

Upgrading to the new dress will have to wait for a bit since we are currently saving up for house. Found a couple that I really want and the husband likes one of them so far. We'll go see the other ones tomorrow after work. Got my work schedule changed so now it's work from 6am to 3pm, leaves the whole rest of the day open. Plus the time goes by loads faster.

How is the questing going so far? I saw you got one outfit completed.

Ah, a noble cause to save for. A home you can call your own is a wonderful thing :) And it's good you like the schedule change. I hate change unless I initiate it.

The Renaissance festival near where I live just ended yesterday. I went Saturday and Sunday and I was there on the 17th. I had a lot of fun :) Though, I did get my heart crushed a little when I went to see about a job with the Jousting company that's contracted through the Festival. It was hard :( But one of the knights was very kind and apologetic to me, so it made things better. And, after all, he was right. I can't let one person destroy my dreams. So for the last day I dragged out my old bodice and wore his colors. :)

And the questing is a little slow :( Although, I am about to finish another outfit :) But I want to make some changes first.
