Very true, I don't know where your body manages to find the extra juice.

I had that happen to me before, when I was up for 3 days with intermittent naps. I swore I will never do it again.

It's weird I'm actually more productive if I just stay up rather than try to nap in between doing things haha. Like the last few days I've had a hard time sleeping and I actually fell asleep sitting up, without turning the light off or getting my blanket or anything I just was awake and asleep the next

Just being up for 20 hours was enough to make me feel like dying. Can't imagine 24 and more.

I've never tried because I was genuinely afraid I might keel over and die if I continued without sleep.

i used to have to stay up for 36 hours at a job, i could nap for 4 hours but i didn't always do it. your body starts to like shut down, you get really cold and get the shakes sometimes. it's like being drunk but worse in my opinion. no hangover though so that's nice lol

I'm usually a very good sleeper. I fall asleep easily and I stay asleep for at least a solid 6 hours. Except when I'm in my insomnia phase, usually when the seasons are changing. But I'm prepared for that now, since it has been happening regularly for a long time now, so I know how to deal with it.

Gah, I now ate too much chocolate. I swear, I'm going to slip into a food coma very shortly...

i worked at a residential home for kids who were taken out of their homes. i did three 12 hour shifts back to back for the full time benefits. the over nights always had at least 2 people so there were chances to sleep some as i said, but it wasn't a restful sleep because i always felt i had to be alert in case anything happened

That kinda sucks, at least there's a chance to get some sleep during it. :(

Sometimes the only way I knew I needed to sleep was because of the shakes

Yay for not staying up 36 hours anymore! That sounds like it's really unhealthy. :(

yea i can't imagine it was but i reasoned with myself by saying that it was just two days and one night so i could deal. that was also when i started to drink coffee and now i am addicted to caffeine. sooo you win some, you lose some.

Uh oh. I hope you don't become reliant on the caffeine, that would suck. My dad was and he would get headaches if he didn't have X amount of cups of coffee a day back when he was trying to cut down on the amount he drank.

i've cut down my intake significantly, to just one a day. i try to skip out on days i don't have to work and i don't get headaches every time. i think there is still hope for me lol

Oh that's good to hear xD My dad was drinking something like eight cups or more of coffee every day back then. I'd probably die of a heart attack if I drank that much. >.>;;

Was inspired by the 'Silent Night' song and how peaceful it sounds. Reminds me of a cold and crisp winter night with snow falling gently and everything is still and silent.
