The rain yes, lol it's a consolation package lol you have to take the whole thing ehheheh!

@LONGCAT - I escaped most of the tolls, they only got me once on highway 78 as I was crossing over into Pennsylvania for a dollar. They got to bite you once for a dollar before you leave heheheh!

I know of a few small bridge tolls between NJ and PA that are under a dollar. very few though.

They're trying to put in a lot of toll roads here in Texas.

Nothing wrong with daydreaming as I do it a lot usually trying to come up with more ideas for my storys I write.

@LONGCAT - Well I like to stick on the interstate so I can drive faster and hopefully get to my destination quicker lol

@Jeannesha - I heard they are wanting to do the same for 485 near Charlotte NC... the corporations just keep getting greedier and greedier!

Soon we will all be taxed to death... what next?

@LYN - hello there didn't see your post.... the rain isn't very motivating is it?

Depends on what they use the tolls for. At least in NJ they it all goes back into road maintenance which is why the roads here are awesome.

I like to listen to the rain when it rains.
If it's summer and warm I like to go swim at a lake in the rain. It's the best time.
But mostly I just like to sit inside and watch something or read.

Right now I kinda wish that'd rain. Instead it's just snowing. We've gotten a few centimeters of snow the last hours.

Like a desert? That's not good I hear in eastern Tennessee they are having some wildfire problems...although with this cold rain I can't see how they can continue.

@LONGCAT - Awesome? Have you been down Route 9 in Oldbridge? The roads in some places are horrendous! I do notice them doing road work but there are some roads that are simply deplorable.

@hummy - Yes winter usually does quite a number on the roads.

@Aspinou - Swimming in the rain is nice, although with hearing about baterial flesh killers in lakes and ponds I only will go swimming in clean pools now... too paranoid lol

Here in Texas, they build the toll road, then sell it to a Mexican firm.
So all the tolls go to the Mexican company.

I don't think we've had those where I am.. I hope. I avoid it when the algae is blooming though.

Pools aren't all that clean either.
I always get ear infections from swimming pools.

Lots of insourcing jobs but then
all the money ends up in foreign hands anyways...

@Aspinou - I heard of people getting brain infections and even losing limbs in some severe cases. It's horrible...I'm just too paranoid to even try with or without algae

@hummy - Now that is pleasant to watch!

@Jeannesha - That's true... I try to go where the risk is the least amount lol

Well I've heard that too. Especially pools where a lot of people go into.
I've gotten ear infection 2 summers in a row so I havent been swimming much at all. It's no good to swim with an infection. :(

I used to have to get drops from the doc all the time.
One time I got an infection from a pool in Grand Cayman.

I was in agony as we were flying home. I just sat and cried on the plane, it hurt so bad.

Once we got home and I went to the doc, got some drops, and it cleared right up!

Pools are terrible. They never put in enough chlorine and stuff to counteract the bacteria that grows naturally in them!

Oh gosh I can imagine. How horrible to have it on a plane.
I was 19 the first time I got it, my mom (who's a nurse) thought I was exaggerating when I said it hurt really really bad. Ehherm. She felt a bit guilty later when we found out it was a big ear-infection.
Apparently it's more unusual (and worse) at adults than children.

Any pool that has a kid in it has been pee'd in.
Guaranteed.
