"Just relax now," Jefferson said softly as Grace ran off to get the water. "You'll need time to heal."

Lydia waved back so they could see her too, since she didn't feel like spewing any more jewels around. She already wasn't sure she'd found all of them so far.

"I can go back to my apartment," Mai said. "Tomorrow, maybe. So I won't be in the way here."

Charming nodded. "Come on, let's get you out of here." He offered Hook a hand out, and then offered Lydia help as well.

"You're not in the way," Jefferson assured her. "I might even be able to spruce up one of the spare rooms for you, it shouldn't take long."

Lydia accepted the hand up, her pockets clattering as she moved. She was going to have to stash the gems away somewhere until she could find out if her apartment was still standing or not.

"Don't go to any trouble," Mai told him. "I can nap on the couch if I need to."

Hook made sure she was fine, thanked the Charmings, and then moved away from the remains of the library.

"Well, that was exciting."

"It's no trouble at all, I promise," Jefferson assured her. It would never be any trouble for her, though he didn't say that aloud. "Go ahead and nap anyways, if you want to."

Lydia nodded, making a bit of a wry face. Oh yes, that had definitely been something.

Mai huffed a bit but settled in there. She thanked Grace quietly when the girl handed her some water, and she sipped at it slowly, starting to unwind.

Hook chuckled. "Indeed. Well, for now I suspect we won't be able to get you back to your apartment, but you're more than welcome to come to my ship, if you'd like."

Grace grinned and sat down next to Mai.

"I'm glad you're okay," she said.

Lydia paused and glanced at him, raising an eyebrow in a 'really?' sort of way.

"Me too, kid." Mai smiled at her. "That could have been worse, definitely. I got lucky."

Hook shrugged. "Why not?" He shot her a grin. "You still have a picture to take, anyway."

Grace smiled and cuddled up to Mai. Things were alright in her world again, now that they were safe at home.

Lydia considered that for a moment before grinning and nodding. She gave an obvious 'lead the way' gesture.

Mai ended up napping there for a bit, cuddled up with Grace. The painkillers made her woozy, and she was tired after all that excitement.

Hook grinned and motioned for her to follow, leading the way back to his ship.

Jefferson came back out once the guest room was made up, and paused when he saw Mai and Grace snuggled up together on the couch. He smiled, and let them nap there for a while.

Lydia followed him, the gems still rattling in her pockets. She had a fair idea of where his ship was moored; there was only one section of waterfront big enough. Still, she was kind of impressed and intrigued at the pirate ship floating at the docks.

Hook grinned at her and offered her a hand aboard.

"Welcome to my ship."

Lydia looked around, interested. It was really amazing, being on the ship. Somehow, being there felt right, like she was welcomed by more than just the captain. She looked at him and smiled.

Hook took her on the grand tour, showing her around everywhere and then taking her to a smaller, private room.

"In case you want to take a nap, or anything," he said with a bit of a shrug.

Lydia smiled a bit.

"Thanks," she said softly, catching the resulting diamond without thinking.

Hook just grinned a bit at her and nodded, leaving her alone and giving her a bit of time. He was rather looking forward to brushing off his clothes a little more thoroughly.
