Nah it's fine, it went to sleep and was normal the next day haha. It was so funny when it happened though. It occasionally happens with the dog during rainy days as well.

It's doable! See demonbaby in action hahaha.

Ugh neither. I should check how many hours I've put into it..
I need to fish way way more, I hate it.

I need someone who likes fishing. It's awful. It needs tweaked a bit to make it fun.

For sure, it's so damn frustrating. You seem to be going okay but then you completely go off the rails and it's a disaster.

Though funnily, I introduced the game to a friend and he loves fhe fishing!

Haha that's tempting. I really want to get the hang of it though. Fishing in games is so great but they did it so wrong in this one :(

Honestly I don't know haha. I guess in that kind of game the options are limited. I like how ffxv's fishing system works but whether the dew would be capable of something like that less than likely.

It would have to be casual enough as well.

Yeah.. So the current system works and makes sense but isn't any less frustrating.

Have you guys played Sims 4? Anything like fishing in that game?

I just started playing Sims 4 again for the first time in a long while. I'm hooked again. I've been playing the Sims for over 15 years now! Talk about weird.

Nooothing like the fishing in Sims 4. Theres actually a mini-game attached to it haha. (Unless I'm doing fishing in the Sims 4 wrong haha)

I adored Sims 1 and 2. Then I personally feel it lost it's charm for 3 and 4 so I don't play them as much :<

I loved Sims 1 and especially 2. Sims 3 I couldn't play for most of its existence because I had a low-end laptop. Sims 4 I really, really love, probably my favorite of the franchise. Maxis is back in the picture with Sims 4 and so there's much more about it that harkens back to 1 and 2. And, generally, there just seems to be more cohesion and thought behind it. For it being still wrapped up in the EA Games bureaucracy, I think it's stellar (there are some choices stuff pack and game pack-wise that are questionable, and some choices that have been a letdown generally, but overall I really enjoy what they've done).

So I've taken to building mega crops now. It's rather hard. Even with the river layout which has about 800 slots for sprinkler crops it's really hard to plant them all on day 1.

I thought Maxis was totally acquired by EA/almost completely kaput! 4 is so much better than 3 though so I'd believe they have an input. I really must give 4 another go, I think I was just still bitter about 3 and EA's shittyness in general when I first played it to have an open mind about it.

Certain crops like Cauliflower, Pumpkins, and Melons can grow to 3x size and yield more crops on a chance.
Best way to do it is using the iridium sprinklers cause I'm LAZY

Ooo, I need to try that when I get home. I've seen images of it but didn't know how to do it. Thank you! Haha dont worry, I rely on sprinklers now. No manual watering for me!

Definitely worth watching videos about it. Dangerously Funny on youtube has a lot of great (and funny) videos where he explains things. I learned about them from him. he has several about mega crops

If this game didn't have sprinkers I'd not have bought it

I really need to, I think I'm missing out on a bit. Like I saw this guy on twitch using bombs to clear the skull cavern at a good rate. Thank you for the suggestion

Yeah for real. By the time you're finished it's like mid afternoon and you have no time to do anything except for pray for rainy days!

So it seems the mega crops aren't all that plentiful, but I did get a few hundred pumpkins for abigale all she will ever see forever.
I also have a greenhouse full of sweetgemberry, ancient seeds, and starfruit running year round.

Spring of next year I'm slowly using the seed maker on my ancient seeds to get 999 seeds so that I can make a massive farm-wide ancient seed farm and finally get that 2 million gold wand.

Gonline? As in the site that shall not be named?

On the note of stardew... I made my ancient fruit mega crop... I planted about 900 ancient fruit in spring.

Edit - About 880 ancient fruit. I counted. I result in 403 regulars, 304 silver, and 173 gold quality every 7 days until winter.

Double Edit - So... the boy just ran not just through a wall, (as he's done a few times), but he literally walked off the visible map of the house.
