Ellie nodded, then proceeded to walk into the forest. It was dark, despite the light coming in from the sun. It seemed so ominous and eery. She secretly snuck a glance at Derrick, just to make sure he was still behind her.

Derrick followed far enough to not make Ellie uncomfortable. He did follow close enough in case she needed help." What do you think of this place so far ?" He asked.

"Its okay," She shrugged, "But it's nothing like the ship. I wish I was back there, sipping martinis and performing." She sighed, continuing further into the forest.

" I wish I was on the ship too." Derrick said ." Do you hear something in the distance?" He asked, thinking he hear the sound of water. He hoped it was water.

"Um, I think so," Ellie nodded, "Yeah, actually... It sounds like waves of some sort." She grinned excitedly and started running to the source of the noise, nearly tripping over fallen branches in the process. What if it was water? But.. What if it was something else? What if it was an animal?

" Hey! Wait for me!" Derrick said. He hoped that it was water they were headed toward, not wanting to run into any trouble.

Elizabeth slowed down considerably when she heard Derricks plea. Man, he was slow. It was too late, though, because she had already reached the strange noise. It turned out to be a small stream of running water. "Thank the lord," She whispered to herself. It was incredibly important to find a source of water, even if it was a feeble amount. In a few days, even hours, they could have died. She could already feel the consequences of lack of fluids setting in. She wasted no time in diving in for a drink, but stopped herself just inches away from the surface. The water had to be purified first. There was no telling what kind of diseases were swimming around in that water. "We have to boil this." She blatantly stated.

" With what? We don't have anything that can be used to boil it." He said . Derrick didn't want to be rude, but it was true. He hoped that this water was safe.

"Well, if you want to get sick, be my guest. I won't play wife and take care of you though." She shot a glance over at him. They had to build a fire. If they had a fire going, they could heat the water in coconut shells, or even a hollow rock.

Derrick sighed. He hadn't expected him to snap at Ellie like he had." I'm sorry. What do you think would work to boil the water?" He asked.

"A fire." She rolled her eyes and stood up, brushing herself off. Even she knew that, and she had never camped before in her life. She didn't know a single thing about survival. Hopefully Derrick did, because if he didn't, they were screwed.

"I can make a fire, What I meant was what can be used to hold the water." He said. He hoped they could find a way to carry the water back to camp.

"I don't know. But it looks like its going to storm again," She shivered as a chilled breeze blew across her, "A hollowed out piece of wood will do. Or a rock." She began searching the ground for anything that could hold water.

" Sound like a good idea." Derrick said as he looked around. He hoped they could find something." We can also collect rainwater if we need to." He said. He knew they would need something to collect it in.

"Rainwater would be better.. Cleaner, at least." She sighed and continued searching. It was kind of pointless, really. There wasn't going to be anything that could hold water. It's not like anyone was here before them. It was a deserted island for pete's sake.

We still have the life raft. There might be a tarp or something we can use to collect water." Derrick said. He hadn't thought about looking for supplies in the lifeboat. He hoped he was right.

"Alright.." Elizabeth headed back to the beach, staying close to Derrick, but not close enough for him to feel like she was all over him. "Um. I'm sorry.. For being so picky and rude. I just want the help to get here."

" It's alright. I apologize too. I know we be helped , we just need to be patient. Maybe there is a radio in the lifeboat. " Derrick said.

"Even if there was, it couldn't have survived all the water. It would be clogged up in water damage. Unless there was a way for it to be waterproofed? Then, it might still be okay." She stated while walking towards the camp.

" If it was damaged then we have to figure out a way to get help. " Derrick said thinking. " We could find wood and spell out the word help. Though that would take up a lot of time. "

"Yeah, I guess that sounds okay." She took a deep breath as they finally made it back to camp. "Can it wait for a minute though? I don't feel so good. It's not healthy to not eat or drink for a long time." Ellie practically collapsed into the ground under her makeshift tent. "I only need a few seconds." She closed her eyes for a moment.

" Okay. I'll go find some coconuts to eat." Derrick said. He thought he had seen some when he was gathering the branches. He hoped Ellie was alright.

Ellie nodded and watched as Derrick walked away. It wasn't that bad. Being stranded on an island with him, that is. At least he wasn't angry twenty-four seven, or depressed all the time.

Derrick found a sharp rock and some coconuts." I brought some food for us to eat. I hope it's alright." He said to Ellie.

"It's probably alright. Where did you find them? I've been searching for ages and couldn't find a single thing." Ellie stared at the coconuts in amazement.
