Kayomi shook her head in disapproval. "Well that's just too bad. There's only one way you can pay us back, Deidara." she began, "And that's through labor. Hard, cold, labor." she said darkly as she laid her hand on his shoulder.

Deidara gaped even more, and just stood there sputtering. "L-labor?" He paled visibly, and he leaned on the pedestal for support.

Zetsu tried to keep his laughter in, closing his flytrap so no one could hear the fit of giggles he launched into.

Konan nodded. "That's right, you're gonna have to work with us." she said seriously. We was able to refrain from laughing though she found this hilarious.

"That means you're gonna have to use this too." she said giving him a costume.

Deidara stared at the costume she'd thrown at him with a mix of anger and shock. "...Seriously?"

Pein looked at them turning away trying not to laugh at Deidara (im sorry im not gonna be on for a while

Both Kayomi and Konan nodded. "Seriously." they confirmed in unison.

Deidara scowled. If Kayomi wasn't in such a 'tight' relationship with him... "Fine." He said in a rather resigned tone. "Whatever."

Kayomi smiled at him. The laugh she left behind in her thoughts five minutes ago was catching up to her. She covered her mouth as she began to chuckle. 'I don't think I could hold this back anymore...!' she thought.

Konan gave Kayomi a puzzled look. 'Looks like she's gonna crack...' she thought.

Finally, the mischevious twenty year old brown-head bursted out laughing. 'H-his face! It's priceless!!' she thought practically un-able to talk, as she held her stomach. "Man! That was fun!" she said putting her arm on his shoulder trying to hold herself up. She sighed as she finished her sigh with a small "whoo..." at the end.

The look Deidara fixed on Kayomi's very amused face was one of sheer, concentrated 'WHAT'. "Fun?"

"Psh, yeah! Fun!" she confirmed. "As you see, all of this....was a p-r-a-n-k." she whispered to him showing him everything in the room. She then turned to smile at him

"Yay, fun." He rolled his eyes, shooting a deadpan look at Kayomi.

Kayomi smiled softly. 'Okay, he seems pissed. Time to soften him up..' she thought. "Aw come on, Dei-kun! learn to laugh! It was just a joke." she said innocently.

"Yeah, of course, un." He huffed, rolling his eyes. Of course, he wasn't gonna argue- he couldn't; not when she used that nickname on him.

Kayomi smiled softly at him. 'And now to fix it all..' she thought. She quickly pecked him on the cheek and turned back to the group. "Okay, we're done here! Keep the costumes if you want." she said with a giggle definately sure they wouldn't want to keep them.

Deidara couldn't stop the smile on his face at the touch of Kayomi's lips, a light blush spreading across his cheeks.

'Finally.' Kakuzu thought, tossing his clipboard aside and nearly nailing Zetsu in the head. He left to go change in his room, but by the time he entered the hallway he'd already discarded his jacket and his belt, leaving them hanging over the back of the couch.

Zetsu wordlessly slipped into the bathroom to change, leaving only Kayomi, Deidara, Tobi, Pein and Konan.

Tobi nodded and headed off to his room. "I'll keep it for Halloween I suppose..." he said holding his teddy bear.

Konan smiled. 'It's weird knowing how easy she could fix things..' she thought. "I'm glad I didn't decide to wear one too." she said with a giggle.

Kayomi nodded. "This thing is kind of uncomfortable.." she chuckled to Konan as she took off her captain hat as she leaned slightly on Deidara.
