I like some Asian fashion. And I also like Asian decor and accessories and such. : )

I'd love to have a zen/Asian room in my future house. Somewhere that is just quiet and relaxing... maybe with a couch or chair for me to just lay around on and read. : )

And my roommate has TONS of Asian lanterns and fans MUCH LIKE Mene's Oriental Fan all over her wall. They're huge and span from wall to wall almost. It's amazing.

That's so cool. : 3 I'd like a huge fan and a ornate screen... and then a fountain or some kind in the corner so I have the sound of running water. : 3

My roomie had a little fountain in our dorm at college. It was so pretty, but we didn't have it on much because she said it made her have to go pee all the time. ^^;;

Oh, I love the sound of running water. I wish we were allowed another water source in our dorm besides our SINK. >_>;

We have a mini fountain on our back porch. It's so soothing.

@Min: Yeah, I wish she would bring it with her to our dorm, but at the same time, it would be REALLY hard hanging it on the walls since they're made of cinder block. @_@;

Mmhmm. We're trying to figure out how we'll get curtains up over the window since there's just cinder block walls everywhere. D: We'll probably have to use that sticky putty stuff that you can tack things onto walls. And when you're done it peels right off.

O I see, those walls make things so complicated!

@Wendy: It is hard to put stuff up on cinder block walls. My uncle came with a special drill to put up a wall mount for my small TV when I lived in the dorms. Otherwise I could never get anything to stay in the walls. : <

Sadly my roommate was very into following the rules, so she wouldn't let me burn candles or even have them out where people could see. : ( I refused to get rid of my coffee pot though. I would have been biting peoples heads off if they had even tried to take it away. xDDD

@Min: Yeah, we're not exactly allowed to bolt, nail, tack, or drill anything into the walls. -_- It's unfortunate. Sticky tack is the only way to go. :O

And omg, free art, really? o_o; I didn't even notice. XD It's not imperative; only if Chai wants to. I don't want to feel like a burden. x_x;

@Chai: I don't think we're allowed to burn candles either, but we really don't care, we'll burn em if we like. XD I mean, we have a microwave and a coffee pot, too, and a hair straightener. . . I think those are JUST as hazardous. XD I know we have a limitation on Christmas trees, too, cause lights apparently are a fire hazard. -_-

I guess I will be finding out a ton of new things next year when I start applying to universities and taking tours of dorms.

They have a limit on Christmas lights? Wow... almost everyone in our dorm had some kind of Christmas light strand to decorate their dorm room (including me). ^_^

@Min: Yeah, they're more or less precautions. Especially if the walls are cinder block . . . Well, I don't know how well that can burn. o_o; But yeah, lots of precautions and lots of things to learn about dorm life. It's a good thing my room mate and I don't snore. If one of us did, the other would go NUTS. I know, I would. >_>

We spend the night at each other's houses all the time, so we know that the other one is a good sleeper, lol.

EDIT: @Chai: Oooo, I like moon best, I think. :3 It's kind of hard to pick between moon and star since I love nighttime in general, but I'd say moon. :D
