Lionheart - Arg, I hate the fact that my laptop had Vista Home Basic on it. I wish Microsoft would have worked on it longer before releasing. They've said sometime in the near future they will completely stop releasing updates for Windows and solely concentrate on Vista. [sighs]
It takes so much damn memory to run Vista, and I was happy with my XP.

To be honest... I'm more concerned about the coloring.
I color like a three year old. ;__;

oh coloring is one of the things I do really well! I love coloring!

I wish I could run XP and Vista on two hard drives.
But I lack two hard drives.
I but only have one of those.

Vista really sucks for games, everything else...it's actually pretty fine, I haven't run into snags that I didn't experience on XP, or are expected from a new OS. (Even XP didn't fare well in it's early days)

It's just the gaming capabilities of Vista are below par, FAR FAR below par, in the way that it just bogs EVERYTHING.
New and old.

I like the look of Vista but thats really all I like about it.

It looks sharp, and if your processor and RAM are up to todays standards, then it runs as smooth as silk no problem.

Sadly I'm barely able to run Vista Ultimate on my crappy DDR RAM. (1GB)

Infact the programing I saw was alot more efficient anc glitch free.
The only difference was XP view everything like a book, while the program similar for XP views everything like a cube.

Even without object desktop, that other stuff, you can make XP look like Vista, or anything else you want.
