Career: Cyborg Corporation Security Officer
Trivia: Has a mechanical gun. Pros are that it's electrical charge short circuts cyborgs and other "electronics." Cons are that it is useless if submerged in water or caught in an EMP wave. Has leather boots with specially designed springs allowing for faster than normal running as well as grounding in case of electrical attack. Bulletproof vest covering vital organs in the bust area. Name: "Project AI"
Alias: Shinji
Age: Altered at 18.
Known Info: Little is known about project AI, since it is not exactly government friendly. Those involved would rather have it kept under wraps, so when their prime subject escaped, they stop at nothing to get him back.

(I'll add more in time)

Feet were running all the way down the corridors. Chaos and confusion were too good adjectives for the scenes throughout the complex. Miss Cross swiftly worked her way from the lobby towards her offices in the back. She had no double the alarms had been blaring since the black out earlier. The facility had generators for back-up power in the unlikely event of a power outage. An electrical black out was unheard of in the training Miss Cross had received. The thunderstorm couldn't alone do damage as the insulation for this facility was pretty darn impressive. However having the island port lose power and the backlash created when the power came back on pretty much sent an pulse of energy everywhere knocking out everything again - including the research facility.

They had, of course, restored order to the generators and to their power supplies. However that pulse had done all sorts of damage to various systems and now possible breaches throughout the facility, important and unimportant, had occurred. They had no idea what extent they were compromised. She reached her supervisors office and stepped inside. "Sir, reporting."

"Miss Cross, patrol the experimental wing. Focus your attention on the corridors where we have human subjects." She snapped a salute and turned swiftly for the door. Mere minutes later, she had crossed the compound and was entering the more secure area where people were not kept out... but kept in.

The storm raging outside was harsh, it had succeeded in knocking out power, which was very rare here, so rare it had be unherd of before today. He takes a breath, the dark cell he was kept in was cold and silent for the moment. He stood, moving to the door slowly, pushing a hand up against the cool metal of the door. He did not expect it to open, but the storm must have knocked out the electric locking system. He takes a breath, peeking out into the hallway. The red lights of the backup generators had kicked in. No one was in the hall for the moment, it was silent. He was unsure for a moment if he should merely stay back inside the room, or if he should make a break for it.

The place here was nothing that anyone should go through. They did things to the people here, that changed them in many ways, some of them did not survive the experiments or the training that came along with them. He was the best of them, after what he had gone through, he was still alive and getting stronger. He knew what they said about him, he was their prime experiment, he was the one they most desired and were interested in. They were planning more on him, butt none of it was good. He takes a breatth, swallowing a bit, turning from the door. He had to get out of here, now.

Walking swiftly through the experimental wing, she tested a door to one of the control rooms. Damn. It wasn't locked. She stepped inside and quickly looked over the equipment. Some of the computers were up and functioning a bit. Most were either fried or not getting any power at all. Mentally cursing some more, she backed out and into the hallway. So much was down. This couldn't be good. Especially for containment...

Realization flooded her. The people in isolation. Her boots slammed into the floor as she ran. Her feet flying faster than normal people could run without a little help from their boots. She reached the hallway with double thick doors and stopped, breathing hard. No one was out and about. Maybe these doors were locked. Only one way to find out. She started walking down the hall, testing the doors. Every one that opened soon had an occupant out cold. Her gun was a wonderful thing. One hit stunned you unconscious. Two hits fried you.

Hearing the confermation sounds of someone around the corner, he decided this way would be anything but a good choice to make. A door to his side led to an emergency satirwell. He had tobmake a choice now. Taking ahold of the handle, he opened the door. His body tensed to hear the allarm, but it was silent but a blinking light in the office would allertto it's opening, due to the backup power. He moved through it and down the steps, he had no time to waste, a mistake could cost him a lot here. Keeping bis eyes on the stairwell before him, he decended the steps to the first landing, glancing back up at the door for a moment. He felt bad leaving the others behind, but a group woyld have to much attention drawn to them. At least if he managed to get out, he could find them help. Andhe would. He promised himself thay..

Working her way through systematically, Miss Cross was surprised when a door opened and there wasn't an occupant inside. She paused with eyes narrowed. Stepping back, she looked at the sign outside the door. On it was the indication for who lived inside and that it was occupied. Looking back in swiftly to verify it was still empty, Miss Cross felt her heart stop. Someone had left confinement.

Turning, she looked around. There was no way to know for sure how long or which way an escapee might attempt to flee. Pulling out her scope, she looked at the ground. Warmth, though dim, radiated from the ground in the pattern of footprints. It was fading fast, but that she could see them meant they were recent. How recent she was unsure. At least with the AC out, they had lasted longer than normal. But it was no indicator. She started following them. Miss Cross didn't put the scope away until she came to a stairwell. Lifting her gun with one hand, she gently opened the door with the other and peaked in.
