It's that time of year again. Kids dressing up to receive candy, teens pulling pranks on each other, monsters coming out to play; it could only mean one thing. It must be Halloween.

Many centuries before, Halloween was a day when goblins and ghouls, vampires and werewolves, witches and warlocks all came out to terrorize the humans. As cunning as they were, the humans dressed up to scare away all of these creatures and keep their families safe on the most dangerous night of the year. With that all forgotten in the past, the humans unknowingly walk around with those creatures they had feared centuries before on this very special day.

Only few (hunters) know they still exist today, many others believe they are fairytale creatures created long ago to scare children into submission. On this Hallow's Eve, a group of unexpecting humans in a little town, about an hour away from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (in the US for those who don't know), will find out that they are indeed not the creatures they have seen in movies or read in books.

Rules:
1. Follow all Mene rules and the following.
2. Romance is allowed, but keep it to a minimal. Not everyone is going to fall in love with another character. This should mostly be gory, bloody, etc (PG13 of course).
3. Not everyone can be a creature of the night. Also, I don't want an overabundance of vampires and werewolves. Some creativity in the selection of creatures would be appreciated. And there should be more humans than creatures. There shall only be three hunters total. Maybe four if we get quite a lot of characters. The boy/girl ratio should stay as even as possible.
4. Keep gender ratio even. Title the PM as "Nightmare Creations".
5. Not everyone can be a teen. We need kids and the elderly too.
6. 1-3 charries per person. Whatever you can handle, but we don't want too many.
7. Highlight rule 4.
8. PM all profiles and/or questions to me. Any characters that are just for the purpose of being eaten or killed or just in the background don't need profiles.
9.Also, if you have any ideas for sub-plots or whatnot, PM those too. All ideas used in the RP will be credited to the rightful owner.
10. 3 strikes, and you're out.
11. This is a semi-lit and up RP. That means 1-2 paragraphs (5-7 thought out sentences) per post with the least amount of spelling and grammatical errors. Some are acceptable every now and then. We are only human, after all.
12. Try to post once a week. If you will not be on for a certain amount of time, inform us.
13. Monsters are not to reveal themselves until the very last moment of the human's (of whom they shall kill/eat/etc) life. Then the humans can try to persuade the monsters not to eat or kill them.
14. No one has permission to kill anyone until it is given by the ruler of the character (unless it's the background people). "Blahblah gave blahblah2 permission to kill off his/her character" must be within the post.
15. I can add or edit rules as I wish. I will inform everyone if I have done so.
16. You shall all call me supreme ruler. Just kidding.
17. Have fun!!!

Special Events

• Children will be trick or treating until dusk. Then chowing down on their "inspected" (a term used by parents to steal pieces of candy from their children) candy.
• A Haunting Walk will be held in the park where teens (supervised of course) can follow a trail of some haunted locations throughout town and scare the pants off of each other.
• At the local "haunted" house, adults can party until morning.
• Bobbing for apples and pin the tail on the werewolf and other games will be held in the high school's gym (an all ages event).

Personality: Laid-back, calm, funny (At least, he thinks he is.)
Bio: The man had a very ordinary life. He wasn't the worse in school nor the worst. He graduated from high school and went straight to college. There, he met his beautiful wife. They bought a house, got married, and had two beautiful children. Nothing was special about it, but he wouldn't change it for anything.

As a history teacher, he wasn't a very superstitious man. He didn't believe broken glass caused seven years of bad luck or that there was monsters that went bump in the night. However, he was interested in them. What were their origins, why did people believe in them, could they easily be explained another way? Most were stories to scare children into behaving. Others were just, well, he couldn't think of a reason for them. A horse leg hanging from a tree that kicks passerbys? What was the point in that?

His wife didn't care about mythical beings. She said they scared their children who were often found rifling through his papers and books. The children found everything interesting, but then shortly found pale-faced from what they had read. Sebastian made sure everything was put away where they could reach or hidden where they couldn't find it, but nonetheless, they still managed to get their hands on his stuff.

Personality: Cold, dark, and just plain evil. She will change her personality to lure in victims.
Bio: The young woman died many years ago but was resurrected by an evil man who intended to use her to kill his rivalries. Being something of evil herself, she devoured the man instead. The look on his face amused her. How could a creature so belong her think he could control her?

For centuries, she's traveled the world, creating stories of vampires, zombies, werewolves (and other were-creatures), and many more. There once was a man-eating tiger, but it wasn't a tiger at all. It was her. She found a female tiger lurking near villages and copied its stripes exactly. When a hunter (whom killed to man-eating lions) tracked down the beast, it was the real tiger.

She could only copy beings, rather than create one of her own. If she devoured a being, she could turn into it at will whenever she wanted. Her favorite forms were that of a cat, a wolf, and her own human form (which she used to lure in most of her victims.

Bio: Mairtin was born to a Greek mother and Irish father up in Western Maine. As he went through school he always knew he was different from the other kids. While they talked about guns and hunting he sat in the corner reading books about swords and mythical creatures.

One day when he go home from school he found his front door kicked in, he ran to the family shed and grabbed a sword that he had received for Christmas the previous winter. As he walked slowly into his house and found the bloody remains of his parents on the floor he also saw a man standing above them, blood dripping from his mouth.

There was a fierce but short battle in which Mairtin got a scratch from the mans claws and the still scar his left arm to this day. Mairtin left school to track this man down and soon found other "Hunters". He now uses his new training in the help to find the man who killed is parents.
Fears: His biggest fear is that of not being able to avenge his parents before his own death. He also is afraid of heights.
