Try looking for your contrast in your settings hummy

When I take a color straight from a picture, that's how I learn that the color I'm trying to get is actually caused by a combination of lights and darks. And I'm in MS Paint, so that's bad.

MS Paint is very simple but alright if thy purposes are not too great.

I do most of my pixeling in MS paint...XD

I use MS paint for some stuff, pixeling is for sure the main use, but I also do some of my work on it, base layers and some of the tools are useful. Then I normally finish my work off in Open Canvas which is hands down my fave :)
