Naruto yanked away, then tripped, cursing under his breath. A thunder cloud boomed in the distants. The blond jumped, wide-eyed. He hated thunder storms.

He actually had a phobia of them.

"Afraid of a little thunder, Naruto?" Sasuke asked, a bit amused.

"NO!" the blond said. Another thunder cloud crashed above, bleeding heavy rain on the two boys.

Naruto grabed the hood of his hoodie and pulled it up over his head. He shook in fear as another crash echoed the sky.

Sasuke sighed. "Come on, Naruto." he muttered. He grabbed the blond's arm and dragged him off.

"L-Let go! I ga-gotta go to Kiba's-" thunder rolled again, Naruto grabbed for Sasukes for-arm. "Okay, okay!"

Sasuke rolled his eyes when Naruto grabbed onto him. Then he led him to his house and let him in.

The lights turned out as soon as Sasuke flipped them on, scaring Naruto to force himself under the kitchen cabanet.

"Jeez, Naruto. Just relax and wait here." Sasuke said. He went around the house, lighting some candles. That gave them some light, but not a lot.

Naruto sighed softly at the sight of the small flames, fire always comforted him.

"You can stay here until the storm passes." Sasuke told him, taking a seat at the table.

The blond nodded, standing and stayed there awkwardly.

Sasuke stayed silent, not knowing what to say.

"Um. Sorry 'bout the spit ball in your hair.." the blond started, trying to brake the tintion.

".. Its fine.." Sasuke said. He was completely over that already. He wasn't one to dwell on past problems.

"Well..." it was quiet a long time, then he smiled brightly. "Do you have hot chocolate?"

Sasuke shook his head. "No. I don't. Why would I have it if I don't like it?" He asked. He really didn't like anything sweet.

"Oh..."naruto mumbled, looking at his feet, "You know, maybe I should go hame?" lighting struck and he jumped."Or stay here- that sounds better."

Sasuke rolled his eyes. Naruto really was loser. "Just stay until the storm stops." he told him. He could deal with him until then. At least, he thought so.

Naruto fround. He hated it when the raven mad that look, like he was better than him.

Sasuke was silent for a moment before going into the other room and sitting on the couch.

Naruto quickly joined him, not wanting to be alone. "So," the blond sat beside him, but not too close, "Wheres your 'rents?"

Sasuke kept his eyes faced forward. "My parents are dead." he stated, his voice emotionless.

Naruto flinched, sitting up strait and head facing his lap. "Mine too." he mumbled, feeling bad.

"How old were you when they died?" Sasuke asked.
