he's in Whiterun, the first major town you're guided/sent to.
In fact, all of the Jarls slouch. Except the lady in Solitude, who is the wife of the High Jarl/King that the Stormcloak fellow killed. I know this lady sits up on the Jarl chair. She's the odd one out.
Are there other lady Jarls aside from the one in Solitude?
Oh, and I've been meaning to ask...are the enchanted weapons in Skyrim like the ones in Oblivion, which needs recharging, or the ones in Morrowind, where they're constant?
They need recharging. But Ive found hundreds of soul gems that have souls in them. Most of the weapons only need one that has a Greater soul in it to recharge fully.
Ah, awesome. I'm getting tired of having to forage for souls and soul gems in Oblivion. :gonk: Some of them have a ridiculous amount of charges needed...like 10000/10000, and where Grand Soul Gems with Grand souls only charge for 1600 points. :stare:
I think Morthal is another one with a lady Jarl. The town with ...

vampire problems.
It's the second town I became Thane of. And no freebie Housecarl, although there is a street brawl you can win to earn a free companion. I love me some street brawling! I've whooped this big-ego fighter, a bard, and a drunk so far.
I just bought this a few hours ago and I'm in love, I'd still be playing if my wifey didn't steal the xbox. : P
I ended up going with a nord charater, if I'm not mistaken. I can't wait to battle my first dragon!

I just made it to Morthal...and I must say, snapping an enemies neck by tossing them on the ground, and punching a guys face open...that made my night(I didn't bother re-equiping a weapon after the brawl...and kept with the quest there).
Edit: And I finally finished my armour set, so when I get the chance, I'll post pictures of it.

I'm able to take screenshots on my PC within Skyrim. There was a article found on Google that said how to.
Are you playing with a console? Hopefully there'll be an easier way than camera at the screen.
Love the night vision look on those photos. :)
Here's a shot of Kaylesha chillin' on the Jarl of Whiterun's throne at 4 in the morning.
She's a Nord.
She's wearing the Otar mask, found in Ragnvald by killing Otar the Dragon Priest.
She's wearing Exquisite level Dwarven Armor and has a Exquisite Dwarven Battleaxe (Nords get a natural boost to two-handed weapons and heavy armor, so I'm milking it!)

Reason: forgot something!
Yeah, I'm playing on 360, the only way to take a picture is with camera to screen....I didn't even bother changing the settings, which would have made a difference. Or the time of day I took it(in game), whichn was like 7am or something, just outside the Blue Palace in Solitude. xD
I love the Ebony, its better than Dwarven, and I think weighs slightly less....though I almost have the "Heavy Armour Weighs Nothing" perk, so it won't matter to me what ones I get(probably Daedric eventually).
Yeah...Ive had the same. Damned things keep getting behind me somehow so I can't see them, and they shoot ice spikes into my back. Sometimes it only takes one to take all my health.
They'll probably look even more awesome in Elder Scrolls #6, whenever they get around to making that one. Probably over the next 5 years. They seem to release a TES game about every 5 years.
So I spent a bunch of time going from town to town and buying out their supply of iron for the purpose of leveling smithing. I found the easiest way is to make tons of iron daggers, since the materials are easy to get.
Got it up to 100 and made myself a nifty set of dragonplate armour from the dragon bones and scales I had picked up.
I also hunted down some daedra hearts and made 2 daedric swords. So I switch between dual wielding those and one of them + my dragonplate shield, depending on what the situation calls for.
Now I've started working on alchemy and enchanting, so I can combine all 3 and get huge upgrades to my gear when I go to improve it.
As for what skills I have, smithing and speech are both at 100. Heavy armour is at about 65, block at 64, one handed at 80, archery 37, sneak 34 and lockpicking 60.
@Kaylesha: I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I've heard that Bestheda had been working on one for Black Marsh with the Argonians, but the project was abandoned mid-way...? :O
Let's hope the next one is in Black Marsh. Or maybe Valenwood. :ninja:
I think I'm going to work on smithing when I get Skyrim too. Those armor are just too awesome. Then cooking. That sounds fun! :XD
