Hikako during this time was simply making his way out of his main office as he made his way down the hallway with his large cloak still wrapped around him as always. Just as usual, the cloak covered most of his bottom mouth and pretty much all of his chin; this was simply due to the fact that he didn't like speaking that much. The only times he would speak would be only if he must speak his mind or is giving orders to people just for safety or anything of importance. Today new students would be coming to this school and from what he remembered; all the head of each houses had to meet up with the students so they would all know who was who. Continuing to make his way down the hallway, the only idea of where he thought for sure that the students would be going would be the main hall. So obviously enough, he was going to make his way there to see when the students would come in. Hopefully enough he wasn't mistaken about meeting up with the students; indeed that would be embarrassing. Although, even if it would be embarrassing; it wasn't like Hikako would ever show the emotion in his face that he was embarrassed. That just wasn't like him at all.

Hiroshi was actually sitting on a train this whole time as he was sitting in one of the empty compartments, somewhere in the middle of the train. He didn't really like being near people that much due to him not really being a good people person. He was always such a shy boy, he was never really able to make eye contact with people since he was afraid they'd look at him weirdly from what he was wearing. Taking another little look at the outfit he was wearing, Hiroshi just pulled on some of the feathers that were on the sides of the top part of his red shirt. This outfit was made by his own two hands when he had found out that there was a school out there that taught people how to use magic against the demons. He wanted to make sure that if he was going to be using any form of magic, that his clothing would fit the right way so that if he did anything at all. His own clothing wouldn't get in the way and end up making him get caught in his own attack or anything like that. Soon enough, when the train finally came to a stop; Hiroshi made his way out of the train itself and right out of the station; only to notice the large school was up ahead. Indeed, that place looked huge, there was no doubt about it that there was going to be multiple times that he was going to get lost in there. Giving a little sigh at the thought, he simply began to make his way up the large path going straight up the hill toward the school.

Serafina was sitting on a train in the one of the last cars in a cubical on her own. She had left all of her friends back home and was now heading to a school that was supposed to help her. She sat back and watched the scenery fly by and thought about what they school might look like or how the people there would act. Sitting back she lit small fires on her finger tips threw her gloves trying to keep amused on the long trip. She was wearing her favourite outfit that consisted of her two layer gloves, thigh high boots, a small cap that had two holes to allow her two blonde pig tails to hang out in their normal style. She also had on her short shorts that allowed a small gap between the top of her boots and the bottom of the shots. Her top had puffy sleeves that had a small gap between the top of the gloves and the end of the sleeves, it went up her neck and the bottom flared out around her shorts. The whole outfit was in her favourite colours of black and red.

When Serafina saw that the train was starting to slow down she looked out the window again and saw a station approaching. She knew that this was her stop so she started getting her things ready to get off. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes and stood up when the train stopped, she gathered her small bag that held most of her clothes that were all in the same fashion as the one the had on but in different colour combinations. She walked off the train and onto the platform and looked around. She saw a few others getting off then started walking up the path, she saw someone up ahead but just walked at her own pace looking around the area. It did look like a nice place but knew that she was going to have to look around so she didn’t get lost. She knew that they had to go to the main hall so that they could meet the other students and get placed in a ‘house’ as they put it. She continued to walk along the path following the other person towards the school.

Tev was sitting next to the window in his train compartment with four other students. They all sat on the opposite side of the car, whispering to each other. Tev knew what the whispering was about; It was always about his silver hair and red eyes. As to why they were all sitting on the other side of the compartment... originally there had been three additional students. However, once Tev sat down, he glared at the person next to him until they finally felt uncomfortable enough to just stand up and leave. Then he moved on the next person, and then the next. It took him just under two minutes to clear three people out of the compartment, without uttering one word. If there was one thing Tev's appearance helped him with, it was scaring people.

When the train finally came to a stop, Tev watched with raised eyebrows as the other students quickly shuffled out of the compartment, a little too eager to get out. Once they had all left, he stood up and placed his hands in the pockets of his long black coat. His fingers brushed up against a small medallion. It was the only possession Tev truly cared about, and nobody could make him give it up. He gripped the medallion in his hand, and proceeded to make his way off the train and towards the school. He wondered briefly if the school would mind the large knife strapped to his right boot as he made his way up the hill.

Stepping off the plane, Dani followed an elderly woman closely, and not just because of the older woman's gentle grip on Dani's wrist, into the terminal. Most people gave the petite thirteen year old a strange look as she passed, though she didn't notice. It probably had to do with the fact that she had violet and black hair, was carrying a bat plushie in one hand, and was sucking on a lollipop, while pulling a suitcase behind her. The purple and pink checkered design matched the one on her backpack.

"Ju-wee?" Dani asked hesitantly as she followed. "What'er dey doing here?" Getting their bags hadn't been an issue, especially when Julie told the guards that Dani was autistic. It had seemed that they were all to happy to get her bags for her, patting her on the head gently as she passed.

"We're here to take you to your new school, sweetie," the elderly woman explained with a small smile as they made their way out into the parking lot. "Remember the nice letter you got?" Julie quickly made her way to the rental, barely dragging Dani along. Getting her on the plane had been a hassle though. Deviating from her routine pretty much sent the petite girl into a panic attack.

"Oh. Dat's why dey here?" Dani asked, looking around at all the bright colors and glares, tears springing to her eyes. Quickly, she pulled her sunglasses from her pocket, putting them on to block out the light and colors. They were just too much sometimes. "Will you take her to school?"

"Not everyday sweetie," Julie responded, taking the opportunity to start the minivan. It was a simple blue Dodge, but it served it's purpose. "I'll be taking you into school today, but then I have to go back home. Don't worry though, Mrs. Eryn is a fantastic lady. She'll make sure everything is okay." Slowing to barely more than moving, Julie proceeded over the speed bump before turning onto the main road. The impact from those usually caused Dani to burst into tears if it was too hard.

The drive would take about an hour, but they would make it on time. Sneaking a peek over at Dani, Julie saw her poring over a book. The little girl certainly loved to read. Checking her mirrors, Julie settled back to enjoy the drive. It would be a bit.

Pulling to a slow stop, Julie looked over at the sleeping angel in the passenger seat before gently shaking her awake. "We're here, sweetie," she said, opening the door before going over and doing the same for Dani. "Why don't we go say hi to Mrs. Eryn?" Gently grabbing the petite teenager's wrist again, Julie began leading her to the school.

Upon entering the main building, Dani stared around in wonder, eyes picking out and storing most details people would miss. At the top of the main stairwell, a tall, powerful woman stood. She emanated wisdom as she choreographed six tables. Each one would test a student to see what affinity their magic had. Only for the first years of course. Spotting the two, the woman glided down the stairs, embracing Julie upon meeting her.

"You must be Dani," the woman said, offerin her hand to shake. Though she retracted it when Dani just stared. "I am your headmistress, Alison Eryn. You may call me Mrs. Eryn though, okay, pumpkin?"

Dani just nodded, for which Julie apologized. "Sorry, Ali. She's doesn't like talking to people she doesn't know. It'll just take her a while," she explained, placing a hand on Dani's head in a gesture of fondness.

"It's fine, Julie, honestly. I understand," Alison replied, smiling fondly at her old friend. "Come on, pumpkin, let's get you tested first, okay?" With that, the headmistress glided back up the stairs, beckoning Julie and Dani to follow.

Tugging at her caretaker's sleeve, Dani whispered. "Can you take off your shoes?" She stared down at her feet as she waited for a response, her skin itching and tingling.

"Of course you can, sweetie," Julie responded, bending down to help. In a few moments, Dani was barefoot, grinning at the older woman. "Does that feel better, sweetie?" she continued, chuckling at Dani's enthusiastic nod before starting up the steps with the teen in tow.

"Okay, pumpkin, just come on up here, and we'll test you, m'kay?" Allison said, giving Dani a large smile of her own. "I need you to imagine an energy building up inside you until you can't hold it in anymore," she finished, placing a piece of paper into the young girl's hands.

Holding it firmly, and giggling slightly at the feel of the paper in her hands, Dani couldn't help but bring it towards her mouth to lick. Julie's hand in front of mouth made her look up in irritation, though the proffered lollipop was nice. "Remember, sweetie, you can't be doing that here," she admonished, a little firmly as Dani began sucking on the lollipop. "Now go ahead and do what the nice lady asked you to."

Nodding slightly, Dani closed her eyes and did as she had been told, feeling a deep, dark energy flowing into her as she did. When she heard a gasp, she opened her eyes, only to see the paper pitch-black. On the limits of her peripheral vision, Ali and Julie were talking animatedly. They argued for a few more moments before the headmistress sighed in resignation.

"Sweetie, why don't you stand over there and wait until Julie and I finish talking?" Mrs. Eryn said, smiling encouragingly at Dani, who just moved to obey. Then they went back to their hushed tones.

"I can't be with her like you could at the orphanage, Julie. I'm sorry, but that won't work," Ali said apologetically. "I'll get a student, first year, to help look after her. There's a big disability check she gets, right? We can use that to pay the student."

"I'd still be more comfortable with you taking care of her," Julie responded, shoulders slumped in defeat. "Especially since her magic is Dark. You know what other people will think of that."

"Yes, which is why I told you we couldn't accept her," the headmistress pointed out. "But you insisted! I know magic is dangerous left untaught, but surely there's another school."

"You know I wouldn't trust them. And besides, do you really want a Dark mage at another school?"

"You're right," Ali replied with a sigh. "We'll ask one of the girls if they would volunteer to take care of her for payment. Just how much does she get a month, anyway?"

"It's about one thousand dollars," Julie responded. As she spoke, she pulled out several papers and pamphlets. All together, they had to be a foot thick. "This is all the information someone needs to take care of her. It's absolutely important that they follow this to the letter."

"I'll make sure it's done," Ali responded, smiling sadly. "Are you sure you can't stay and catch up?"

"Positive," Julie responded, hugging Ali tightly. "You know I have a family to get back to and everything."

"Well, when you come to pick her up, you'd better be ready for a long talk," Ali called out as her friend left, smiling. Looking around to Dani, what Ali had been about to say died on her tongue. Apparently a vase had attracted her attention, as she stood rubbing it, while placing her chin on the side.

"No, no, no, pumpkin," Ali said, mayhaps a touch sterner than she meant. "Come over here with me, so we can get you all sorted out." Sighing as she sat Dani in a chair, she looked to the doors. Open, they showed the marvelous hilltop, and several students already arriving.

"Hikako!" she cried out, beginning on her way to the doors to meet the students. "Keep an eye on her, please." From the slight pain in her temples, this was going to be a long day.

Hikako just continued to make his way down the hallway so that he could at least make it to the main hall where he could meet the new students. Before he could even do that however, his own eyes widened up slightly when he heard what sounded like the young headmistress of the school call for him. Turning his head right over toward her, only to hear her say that he needed to keep an eye on one of the students that seemed to be looking out the doors that lead right toward the large hill that lead down from the school itself. What exactly the point on watching for her was; Hikako wasn't too sure about, whatever the case maybe; he just nodded in agreement and made sure to keep his eye on her for whatever strangeness might come about. Making his way over toward the young girl that sat there on the chair, he just thought it might've been a good idea to introduce himself while he could rather than having to deal with student by student telling him who he was and everything. Not all the students were here yet, which was going to make this a bit more easier for him. Giving the young girl a tap onto her shoulders and tilting his head in curiosity. "Hello young miss..you must be new here to the school as well; I presume?"

Hiroshi on the other hand had finally made it up the large hill; only to feel as though he had just lost part of his own soul on that hill. It was so steep, almost as though he were walking straight vertically rather than going up a hill at all. Finally making his way up to the top of the hill, his own eyes widened up a bit more when he finally realized how big the school was up close rather than looking at it from a distance. Turning right around and looking back down the hill and distance from the hill; it was almost as though he could see the entire land itself for miles beyond miles of where he was. From where he stood, he could see bunches among bunches of students making their way here toward the school as well. Strangely enough, Hiroshi had a bad feeling that he was going to have to do alot of talking with plenty of people he didn't even know. Great. Just what he needed, one of the things he was horrible at. Making his way right through the open doors of the school and looking around, it didn't seem like there was anyone else really here expect for a couple of people. Of course people he didn't even know.

Don't forget about us, ok...?

Playing lazily with the leaves on a small flower in her office, Lucinda remembered what her companion had said that day. They had embraced, and the young, blonde fledgeling had transformed and set off on her journey. That fledgeling was very familiar to her. It was herself.
From day one, Aella was her dearest friend, and the closest thing she had to a sister. Leaving the clan in her hands was the best move... it had to be. But obviously, Luci's mind was starting to torment her with the images of that fateful night. Why had Aella's messages stopped? Were they in danger? The demons had been nearly wiped out at the end of the war, so that couldn't possibly be the case. And even if they were attacked, an entire clan of defensive Harpy women could easily rip and shred any intruders that dared to attack them. It was all too much! Just too much! Lucinda's mind was moving so fast, and the little voice in her head was talking at a speed faster than winds of Air Magic themselves...

She didn't have time to be daydreaming again. It was always a problem, her daziness, and today it was three times worse. Getting up from her comfortable (fairly ugly) cyan chair, Lucinda stood, did some stretches, and sighed. What was she supposed to do today...? A spaced out expression stayed on her pale features, and suddenly, her eyes widened. She remembered what the Headmistress said to do! Lucinda had to go greet the new students, and by her graceful Sacred Winds, she should already be down there!

Panicking, the Head of the Air House ran to a mirror and adjusted the glowing blue feathers adorning her lace headband before sprinting down the hallway and down the winding staircase.

Frantically making it into the main hall, Lucinda glanced over at Hikako, but left him to his business. She didn't want to annoy the man, which she already did fairly often. She just needed to catch her breath. Stepping outside, she smiled at the new, arriving students and looked up at the sky.

The beautiful, blue sky.

And by the goddess, how she wished she could just float away...

Dimitri walked quietly to the school grounds. He had an uneventful train ride, just riding around with some students. He didn't remember there names. Mostly because they were sure to be in Fire or Water, like there fathers or mothers. He was sure he'd be placed in Pure, so he could practice Alchemy like his dad. He looked around at the other students, content to be alone until someone decided to talk to him. He ruffled his blonde have and fiddled with his sleeves. He didn't know why but he was were a Victorian England type of outfit. With ruffles everywhere, and very high-class looking. He had the shirt partial open and didn't stand like some high society scholar, but it still made him feel uneasy. He noticed the Headmistress at the top of the hill so he walked closer and waited to be told something.

Rubbing her hand over her needle ball, Dani stared at her dangling feet as they kicked back and forth. Her shoes were nearby, the fasteners being made of Velcro, next to her bags. She noted absently that a man was coming over to her, though she didn't recognize that he would be the Hikako Mrs. Eryn had called. Sucking absently on her lollipop, watermelon this time, Dani just stared at him, nodding ever so slightly.

Throwing open the wide doors with just a touch of Magic, Ali walked through. "Welcome! Welcome!" she yelled over the students, smiling widely. "I am your headmistress for the year! If you will please be orderly about this, we should be able to proceed along the day as planned. When you enter, you are to make your way to one of the six tables. They will test your Magic there. Upon being tested, you are to head back out here and wait for further instructions. Okay? Good. Come on in!" Waving her arm over her head, Ali turned and began making her way to the center table, where she hunkered down for the testing.

Serafina finished walking up the hill, the walk had actually been quiet nice with the view of the different trees and plant life. Then when she saw the school she just stared at it for a couple of moments before looking at the view behind it. The mountain and vast forest made the school look small to its surroundings; even though she knew that it was huge. She had walked up to the front doors when she saw that there were other students then and then heard the headmistress calling out to them giving them their first instructions. She then headed into the main hall and looked at the other students again before heading towards one of the six tables that looked empty. She didn’t really know what to do though so she just stood there and looked around.

"Come on over here, sweetie," Ali called out to a blonde imp (Seraphina). "We'll test you first. See, this paper is made from a special tree that reacts to magic. It changes color depending on what element you have. So just take this, close your eyes, and focus on a surge of energy rising up from within that you can't hold."

Smiling reassuringly to the young teen, Ali looked over at Dani and Hikako, making sure that she wasn't doing anything dangerous. Hikako could be pretty oblivious sometimes. "Sweetie, before we begin, I need to know if you could do a job for me," Ali began, looking back toward the young blonde. "Do you see that small girl over there? She's autistic, and she needs someone to keep an eye on her. Do you think you could do that? I can pay you fifty dollars a week, or equivalent currency depending on where you're from."

Tev finally reached the top of the hill. It was only on his way up that he had realized, to his disappointment, how large the school really was. A large school means lots of students, lots of students means lots of potential enemies. But enemies weren't so bad. They could actually be quite useful, especially the cruel, manipulative ones. All you had to do is wait for them to pick out the easy marks (the ones most willing to do what you want them to) and then take over his system. They do all the work, and I get all the benefits. But that was a harsh was of viewing the world. Tev silently rebuked himself for thinking in such a way. This was a fresh start, a new beginning, a second chance to- But already he could hear the familiar whispers of the kids around him, some found his appearance funny, some scary. It would be the fear that would win in the end though, it always was. Then suddenly, the headmistress called out, directing everyone towards a series of tables. Immediately everyone began to file in one general direction, so Tev just flowed with them, noticing that, although it was crowded, very few people bumped into him. I guess looking like a demon can have it's perks too.

Dimitri looked around as the other students filed in. He had been one of the first inside. He nodded as the Imp girl had been called out first. She was cute to say the least. By her clothes he could figure she'd be a Fire student... but Dimitri could see himself wandering to "bump" into her. He also noticed a boy who seemed to be a demon. At least the other students thought so. Dimitri didn't think so.. not that he was going to go near the boy anytime soon.

After the girl finished, Dimitri volunteered to be the next student to be placed.

(:O Awww thats not right Angelo xD kind of mean to say that about Hikako :P)

By the time the young girl had turned her head over only to look up toward Hikako with a simple nod. He simply tilted his head toward her while watching her, indeed he may had been told to watch her from the headmistress but still; he wasn't exactly sure he was staring at her for. It was rather displeasing to see how one of the students were told to sit here by themself while the other students got to go and get their tests done to see what element they were. Hikako was unknown about the fact of what element this young child possessed but either way, whatever it was; it couldn't have been that bad to actually make the young girl sit here all alone like this. Crossing his arms Hikako just showed a small little smile through the look of his own eyes as he kept his head tilted. "So have you figured out your element yet?...your going to need to so that you know which classes you'll have." he stated with a little smile he kept only through the look of his eyes due to his mouth being covered completely by his large coat. Turning his head back over toward the doorway, Hikako noticed how more and more students started filling the school as he began to wonder if Ali; the headmistress would be able to handle all of this. She may had become the new headmistress but she was much younger then the last and he wasn't exactly sure she knew how to handle all of this just as well as the last just yet. Either way, if there had come to become too many students filling into the separate room for their tests; Hikako would think that this would probably be a good time for him to go in there and help with the tests for the students, rather than having one person do so.

Hiroshi at this point simply kept his eyes darting left and right around the area of the school he was standing in. The place looked indeed rather nice; especially from the inside. Although he already knew since this was a school of magic, fights probably broke out once in a while with teenagers blasting one another with different elements of magic. It would be rather shocking to see how someone would have the clean up the giant mess afterwards those were done. All of a sudden, his eyes widened up as a small gasp escaped his lips when he heard the doors over toward the school began to open. Only to see how a female stood there welcoming all the students in and speaking that the students were to head over toward six tables where they could do a test to figure out which element they belonged in. Giving a little silent nod to himself, he made his way over toward the tables and noticed how a couple of students had already lined up to get their tests done. So just giving a shrug, Hiroshi got into the line and awaited his turn to take the test. What element he was going to be using, he wasn't too aware of since Hiroshi wasn't really ever aware about what he was good at. All he knew was that he liked it when there were thunderstorms over his village, so he loved the rain and not to mention helping others.

Serafina looked at the headmistress as she started talking to her about the piece of paper and how it would help place her. She nodded to the lady and began to pick up the piece when she heard her ask her if she could do a job for her. She looked at her then smiled saying “Sure thing” she had always been willing to do anything for anyone even if she didn’t know them that well. She then picked up the paper and then closed her eyes trying to focus on her energy like she had been told to do. Seeing as she really liked her powers she was really glad that she could at least go first to get I over with, without setting a few things on fire by accident. Well she hoped that nothing was on fire but she couldn’t really see anything so would have to wait to see or for screaming to start. Which is how she knew that she almost set half of her village on fire back home.

((It doesn't have to be right, Happy. :P It was her interpretation. :)))

"Dawk," Dani replied simply, lisping as usual. Her eyes trailed from the man's face to the crowd of students, one of which leaped out at her. He had white hair and red eyes. The colors, brighter and sharper to Dani's eyes, beckoned her, resulting in her dash through the crowd, heedless of any of her toes being stepped on. Upon reaching him, she reached up, stretching to touch the hair, though she couldn't quite manage it. Her bat, Chippy, was still in her free hand, though her needle ball lay forgotten near the chair.

"Oh, thank you!" Ali exclaimed, hand to her breast as she sighed heavily. "You have no idea how much of a help that is." Waiting eagerly to see the results of girl's test, the headmistress failed to see Dani dash off. The paper began turning red as the girl concentrated, though Ali waited to say something. Several times, the paper had started off with one color, and changed to another.

When the whole paper was red though, Ali spoke. "Red for Fire. What's your name, sweetie?" As she waited, she beckoned the next boy, a volunteer, to come up and take a piece of paper.

Serafina opened her eyes when the lady had said that she was placed in the fire house, she smiled knowing that was where she had belonged. She then said "No problem at all, I am glad to help out already." She smiled then remembered that she had asked for her name and she then said "My name is Serafina Stockwells." She handed the paper to the boy who was next and smiled slightly at him before turning back to the headmistress asking "Umm where did she go?" She had seen that the girl that was once sitting in the chair beside the other teacher was now gone and she hadn't really noticed it at first. But she decided that she would rather go look for her so she smiled at the headmistress and then at the boy again befor heading back into the crowd to fin the girl.

(I'll post for Hikaru after, cant think of anything to put for him at this point. )

All the while Hikako continued to see how the students lined up to get their tests done; he had made sure to keep part of his attention to the young girl sitting in the chair. At first while he stood there having no idea that she had gotten up from her chair while he wasn't looking, only to bolt off toward the students that were filing in. Hikako was always one to make sure to pay attention to all his surroundings so by the time he looked back toward where the girl was sitting that he was supposed to watch; only to notice that she was gone. His own eyes widened in shock as he looked right around the area much more carefully to see if he could spot out where the young one was. He had heard the girl say that her power was dark; which really kind of shocked him even more than he already was after figuring out she had left where she was sitting. Dark; was an extremely dangerous element to be controlling, not only was it a powerful element; it was also said to be one of the most unstable elements there was in all magical arts. So looking around to see where the girl was, when Hikako had noticed how she was over by one of the other students seeming to look as though she was trying to touch his hair. He gave a little sigh of relief that she hadn't escaped away from his own line of sight at least. Taking his attention away for only a moment, Hikako noticed a needled ball on the floor by the chair as he went right over to pick it up into his hands. Holding it within his palm, Hikako simply turned his head over toward the young girl who was speaking with the student with white hair. Throwing the ball up and down in his hand and continuously catching it as though it didn't even hurt to touch it. Hikako just had a gut feeling that this belonged to that young girl. He made sure to watch her; just in case he noticed any difference in her behavior that could activate that dark magical powers of hers. Why he wasn't told that the girl controlled the element of darkness was beyond his thoughts; but whatever the case was. He knew now, and that was a good enough reason to make sure he kept his attention even more focused than it was earlier.

Having enjoyed the small circle of space the other students had made around him, Tev was, to say the least, a little surprised when a girl suddenly ran up to him and reached for his face. In fact, having dealt with surprise attacks from bullies at his old school, he almost kneed her. But he stopped himself. For one thing, she was so short her out-stretchered hand could barely reach his shoulder. And there was something off about this girl... She wasn't afraid of him, at all. She just stood there, arms raised with a lollipop in her mouth. Tev didn't know what to do, so he resorted to the only thing he knew how to do. He crouched down to eye level, glared at the girl, and whispered in a threatening tone, "What do you want?"

Unaware of the white-haired boy's emotional state, Dani continued stretching to touch his hair, Chippy bouncing up and own in her hand as she tried to jump up high enough. And then he knelt down. Immediately, Dani's frustrated frown morphed into a satisfied smile as she reached his hair, placing her hand in it and rubbing. It was so silky! She couldn't help but giggle as it tickled her senses, and not just touch. It was so white to her eyes, though she could see individual pieces that weren't quite as white, and pieces that were whiter. Oblivious to the boy's threatening tone, Dani stayed there, giggling softly as she rubbed the boy's hair.

Quickly putting Seraphina's name on the Fire House roster, she froze when she heard her next question. Whipping her head around, she frowned and stood, noticing the empty seat next to Hikako, who was holding the needle ball. "Shit!" Ali swore, motioning for one of the sixth years to take over the table for a few moments. Then she made her way over to Hikako, thunderhead for a face. For Sages' sake, Hikako! She's autistic! Where'd she go!?"

(I know I was logged in on my phone... couldn't post.)

Dimitri smiled back at the girl. Definitely going to go out of his way to "bump" into her. He took the paper and focused his energy. It was taking a while but it sometimes did. The Paper was shifting colors constantly. It finally stayed on Purple. Pure. He was going to follow in his father's footsteps. He smiled and, seeing that the headmistress walk away, went to the Pure table to tell them of his placement. He gave the paper to the boy behind him. "Good luck," he said.

All the while Hikako kept his eyes directed toward the young girl who he was supposed to watch, he noticed how she was simply beginning to touch the hair of one of the students. She didn't seem to be doing anything that could cause her dark powers to go out of control; so he wasn't about to go over toward her and pull her away from something she wanted to do that wasn't going to make her go insane with her powers. Indeed, she may had controlled the most unstable element there was, but that didn't mean all of them had to treat her like she could destroy the whole world. She was just another person like the rest of them, whether or not she was human or not was a different story. Although even if she may not have been a human being, that didn't change that she was still alive and had the free will of any normal alive person would have. All of a sudden when he heard a female call out to his name; only to see Ali coming over toward him, he simply kept his eyes directed on the young girl instead of looking over at her. When she had approached him and asked where the young girl was. Hikako didn't bother to even look at her as he grabbed onto the top of her head and turned it right in the direction where the young girl was sitting. "Relax. Shes right there, and one more thing..why didn't you tell me she controlled darkness? and I understand if we have to watch her because of that; but come on, let the girl have her own time too. We can't keep her away from everyone forever."

Hiroshi at this point stood behind the other volunteered boy as he took the paper from the previous girl who had just gotten her test done. From what he heard after what the girl had gotten from the paper as her test, he had heard something as though she was going to be in the house of fire. While standing there and awaiting his turn; he hadn't heard what the boy was going to be until the person who was giving the tests spoke out what the boy was going to be in. Pure. Indeed, that was rather amazing to hear someone in such an element; Hiroshi had never really known there was such an element as that. Although when the boy turned around to give him the paper, he just gave a little nod rather than saying anything when he spoke about telling him good luck. Taking the paper into his hand and making his way over toward the table, he listened to the instructor as he was told to poor his magic into the paper. Doing just that, Hiroshi stared at the paper the whole time as it shifted colors multiple times until it finally landed on the color orange. Being told that orange was going to be for the element Holy, Hiroshi just gave a smile and nodded in thanks toward the instructor for telling him before turning around to see who was next.

Tev was rather taken aback. Not only was his attempt at intimidation unsuccessful, but the girl had completely ignored him, giggling as she started stroking his hair. That had never happened to him before. Tev watched and let her do as she pleased for a few moments as he considered what to do next. Intimidation didn't work, so he moved onto mimicry. He reached up and began rubbing the girl's hair. He tilted his head slightly and stared directly into her purple eyes with his red eyes, trying to figure out what was going on in her head. He eventually gave up on trying to read her face (an ability he had never been particularly good at anyway) and moved onto a more direct approach. "Speak your mind."

"Darkness? I don't care about that now," Ali said, waving her hand as if to brush aside something insignificant. "What I'm worried about is her. She's autistic. I turned away for a few seconds earlier, and she was rubbing a vase. According to her files, she doesn't feel pain unless it's enough to incapacitate another person. She could be injured and dying, and we'd never know."

While troubling, her affinity with Dark magic did create some issues. First off, no one in the past four or five centuries had been born with Dark magic. The magic corrupted the user, turning them as evil as the demons had been. At least, that's what the evidence said. Maybe, hopefully, it was wrong.

"I want you to find a girl, Seraphina Stockwells, to watch her while you and Lucinda help me set up things for the challenge. The other Heads are late as usual," she said with a sigh, turning and disappearing around a corner. Busy, busy, busy. She had been right. This was going to be a long day.

When Tev's hand touched Dani's head and started rubbing, she frowned, balling up the hand with Chippy in it into a fist as tears sprang to her eyes. While she felt no pain, the sensation from his rough rubbing was overwhelming. Not to mention that Dani did not like people she didn't know touching her.

Suddenly, the fist seemed to fly forward, shadows dancing around on the ground as it shot towards his midsection. "No touch!" she yelled, eyes flashing dangerously. The shadows continued their dance, almost as if they were responding to her heightened emotional state.

Tev fell over backwards after a surprisingly powerful and unexpected punch to his stomach. Instinct kicked in and he was on his feet in no more than a second, the knife formally strapped to his boot, now in his hands, reflecting sunlight. Then the moment passed and realized what he was doing. He deftly slipped the knife back into his boot as he took a pace backwards. It was barely the first day of school, with hundreds of students and dozens of teachers watching. He wasn't about to get expelled before he had even been placed into a house. Tev also knew better than to try and slip away. He had learned very early on that he could never blend into a crowd. In his experience, the best way to avoid punishment was to convince the other party to cover for you. For him, that usually meant quickly defeating his opponent and then intimidate them into submission. But it had already been established that this girl wasn't effected by his intimidation. It was also becoming increasingly obvious that she had some kind of mental disorder. This could be good or bad. Good because he can't really be responsible for any outburst on her part; Bad because he might be blamed for provoking her. It all depended on how an outsider would interpret it. Of course, having pulled a knife out would greatly weaken his case. He hoped he had put it away quickly enough that none of the teachers had seen it. He reached into his pocket and gripped his medallion, trying to think of how his old friend would have dealt with this situation. Then an idea came to him. She didn't say much and didn't seem like the type to talk about events that didn't interest her anymore. So all he had to do, was get her interested in something else. He hoped. Tev reached into pockets looking for anything he could use, but to no avail. His hands came out and all he had was his medallion and a pen. He put them back in his pockets and tried to think of something else as he kept his eyes on the girl.
