It is the first day of Yan staying with me. I gave him some fried chicken for dinner, he seemed very happy about it. He picked the bones clean.

Yan seemed overjoyed to receive some banana pudding for dessert.

Yan loves animals so much. He couldn't help but pet my cat Luna. She was unfortunately a little grouchy from being woken up but at least she didn't bite him.

I learned that Yan especially loves big dogs when it comes to animals, so I introduced him to my dog Gus. Gus is so easy-going, he had no problem with Yan climbing all over him. They sure did hit it off!

After we were done hanging out with the pets I thought Yan might want to settle down and read some manga. He couldn't settle on one series so I offered up my old issues of Yen+ magazine. I think he was a little distracted by the title because now he wants to write a letter requesting that they change the title to Yan+. Silly Yan.

Yan told me that he has always wanted a dinosaur. I did a little google search but could not find the proper equipment to recreate the prehistoric creatures. I tried for the next best thing and made Yan an origami dinosaur. I was pleased to see that he loved it.

Yan told me how much he loves to play violent video games where he gets to kill people so I let him play a little Resident Evil 4 with my sister. He seemed to enjoy taking out those zealots!

Yan wanted to take a nap so I set him on my bed with a tiny stuffed animal to cuddle with.

When I went to wake Yan from his nap he wasn't where I had left him. Seems he had snuck into underwear drawer to nap with the panties. Silly little guy.

After his nap, Yan wanted to express himself with some drawing. He didn't seem to understand how to use a tablet, and tried to use the pen on the screen! Silly Yan.

Yan likes to play in water so I filled up the sink for him (It's the perfect size) and threw in some bubbles for good measure. He seemed to enjoy it.


(and the image won't flip so I guess he's playing in an upside down sink. O.O;;; )

Yan told me how much he wanted to be a ninja, so I tried my best to make him a mask, and my little sister crafted a paper throwing star for him. He had lots of fun.
