Day 4:

Yan and I crossing the river, he particularly liked all the boats as a alternative way to travel along the chicago River. Also Yan wanted to take a swim, though I told him he couldn't due to the water isn't that healthy for anyone, let alone a kid.

Day 4:

Yan is pointing out the John Hancock building in the distance. That will be our destination for the sight seeing tour. Also ice cream at the end of it, Yan was look forward to it alot.

Day 4:

Yan and I passing through the Wrigley building. The passageway between the buildings is very nice, though Yan and I got alot of stares.

Day 4:

Yan and I looked at the Marylin Monroe statue. It is in front of the ABC tower. Yan particularly liked this posed, and wished he got to see more girls run into this instead of just a statue. Yan couldn't get a good picture of himself underneath the statue because of the giant crowd standing there and looking up.

Day 4:

Yan and I found a nice cool garden sitting area near the statue. Yan particularly liked playing in the leaves, and his reflection on the stone.. He was memorized for quite a while.

Day 4:

Yan starting climbing on the Tribune Tower. He fit nicely enough he acted like a statue for this gothic architecture. After a quick picture, I grabbed him to make sure he didn't fall off.

Day 4:

Yan and I went along Magnificent Mile, biggest tourist shopping area in Chicago. Yan kept pointing out shops and cars he liked, and had heard of.

Day 4:

Yan wants all women to wear these.

Day 4:

Yan found a small waterfall area on the sidewalk. It was shallow enough that Yan played in it for a few minutes, then we left to move on.

Day 4:

Yan found the Disney Store. He wanted pictures next to all of his favorite characters. First though he found a Mickey his size.

Day 4:

He found the tramp from lady in the Tramp. His favorite old Disney classic. he wants a Tramp for himself.

Day 4:

Yan found a elephant to ride. He said it was lots of fun. I wouldn't know, as I have never ridden one.

Day 4:

And our personal favorite Dog of all time, Doug from Up! (Who doesn't love a talking dog). Yan was torn between which one he would want more, the Tramp or Doug.

Day 4:

Yan was tired of seeing cars and not owning one, so he insisted on riding on one from Cars. He picked the biggest car he could find so he could lie in it and fall asleep.

Day 4:

The famous castle in front of water tower. This is actually part of the fire station that survived the great chicago fire. Yan was happy to almost be at his destination.

Day 4:

Yan's favorite part of Water Tower, the water!!! Also the escalators was a nice additive form stairs at this point.

everyone including yan had to put their hand into the cylinder water and splash the other people on the escalator

And Yan, For being so small, got to play in the very shallow water at the end.

Day 4:

And water Tower just got ten times better for Yan. A LEGO store, with a Woody outside. "reach for the stars!!!" Yan shouted when i took the picture.

Day 4:

front outside mural of LEGO store. The LEGO icon is made of minifigures, not regular bricks. Yan was fascinated for a while at this (possibly less so than me though).

Day 4:

Yan found a dragon/ serpent tail. I wonder where the head is. Yan was too afraid the piece might fall down to actually touch the piece.

Day 4:

Yan found a Ninja set. It even has a dragon and dragon shoji doors. Along with many ninja mini figures. Unfortunately I am not made of enough money to buy said set..... till Christmas... (Don't tell Yan).

Day 4:

Yan playing with the pick a brick wall. Every child, including yan, eyes widen at the size of the lego wall. Yan wanted to play with the flowers most.

Day 4:

Yan found the horses bin. He wanted to save them all from other children.

Yan playing with LEGOs more his size. Yeah Duplos. Do I see a clear duplo brick, now if only we could buy those in bulk.....

Day 4:

Yan found the head of the serpent/ dragon. Isn't he really cute!!

Day 4:

Yan found jellyfish. Aren't they pretty. I told yan he should never touch one or bad stuff happens. He kind of listened...

Day 4:

There is a really pretty castle looking house in the middle of the city. Yan suggests we move there (maybe so he can be closer to the LEGO store and water.)

Day 4:

Now for one of the most famous buildings, the John Hancock!! Yan just finds it a tall building.

Yan wanted to eat at the shiny cheescake factory. I've never seen one so decorated before (it looks like a giant mushroom to me).
