Barret Werewolf
(just to keep things easily seperate he's now refered to as the 'barret werewolf' since he killed the two most powerful barrets XD)

The wolf turned, his bulking form neither human nor wolf. It stood on two legs and had a wide chest, pure power and muscle. He felt the wolf enter and seemed undisturbed by the change. He threw himself forward even as Clyde leaped at him, his large hand curling into a fist to punch the other male in the head. It would feel like being hit by a truck, his power clearly amplified by some supernatural force beyond simply the moon and werewolfism. He would then leap back from Clyde onto one of the fire escapes next to them and let out a bark like laugh. The crazed creature was pure instinct and enjoyed the thought of a challenge.

He then turned and began leaping and bounding between the two opposing buildings until he could perch on the wolf. The wolf howled, a taunt clearly as if to call Clyde up. If Clyde began to follow the wolf would leap along the roof tops towards the park they had early been at. It's instinct was to head towards the trees, where it felt most at home. The beast felt exhilarated by having killed the one who escaped and now it was ready to play.

"I have various experiments that i can always use a vampires help with." Valia responded with a shrug as she watched the vampire a moment. Perhaps he had thought she meant more ....intimate services? There were women out there like that, fang chasers who liked to have sex and be bitten and be played with by vampires. She, however, had no intention to ever let herself be bitten. She didn't think much of vampires... though at least she thought more of them then werewolves. She half smiled at the thought of his assumptions. She thought she still looked young enough and pretty enough she could find a lover, like she didn't have to pay for it. She shrugged at the thought, about to say something about the experiments when a stranger entered.

"May I help you?" She asked absently as she stood and turned away from the vampire at her side a moment. The red head was a vampire judging by her energy. She didn't seem to happy to be there but those who came to her for charms often weren't, nor were they particularly polite. They knew not to start a fight with her but she was still 'just a human' to them. Many of them could not bring themselves to look at any human as anything but food....

Even as she said it a wolf how could be heard in the distance, however, and her eyes seemed to flash a slightly brighter silver and a wind catcher near the door stirred. It tinkled slightly, confirming what her ears told her. A wolf was near, a wolf was howling a challenge. She instantly turned and grabbed a bag hidden behind the counter and turned to the vampires. There was something a little hungry and a lot dangerous in her own eyes as she spoke to the vampires quietly.

"I must request you both leave... I just remembered I have something to do. We can discuss your payment later stranger."

Dante paused in the middle of the city. He held the map out at arms length staring at the little lines and numbers and names on it for a moment, before crumbling it up with a frustrated sigh. He looked around for a moment, and for about the hundreth time that night, he had no frikin idea where he was. How could he have gotten so lost? Shaman were supposed to have good sense of direction right? Well this one had absolutely NO sense of direction at all most the time. He sighs lightly, tossing the crumbled map in the trash before heading down the street. He got a few looks as he passed, especially by men. It pissed him off, they acted as if he was some teenage schoolgirl. He had always been good looking, just in a more feminine way then he would have liked. He clenched his teeth, focusing on the fact that monks were passive not fighters. Monks are passive not fighters. He closed his eyes. Monks are passive not...

A hand slid over his backside. His eyes flew open, as a group of guys passed him. Anger bubbled up inside of him. "Ta hell with being passive" he says, turning around in time to hit the guy winking at him in the jaw. His friends crowded around him as his nose began to bleed. Dante turned away stalking down the street, grumbling to himself. He passed a hotel, and what felt like a slight shock went through his body. His eyes slid up the building to the roof. There had been something there...something happened here recently but he didn't know what. He was a bit curious to find out, but he couldn't just go rampaging into a hotel and say some strange mojo was goin on on the roof, people would think he was crazy. Either that or they would think he was some damsel in distress. Dante shuddered a bit, not a good idea.

He turned away, walking on down the street. There was another source of energy around here, a dark source. He didn't know quite what it was, but it was dark. He sighed lightly once more, looking back the way he had come. The way he saw it, he had two options. Go investigate the creepy energy, or find some place to sleep. The later option would probrably entail a bench or leaning against the side of some random building, so the first sounded better. He turned to the side, and began to head towards the center of this strange energy. His hand slid over his hip, to the makeshift hollister on it. The old cards were still in place and safe, he felt more confident with them around, and one little side step from looking for the others would not hurt at all. Who knew, this could be fun!

Chuck got out of his bed, his hair a mess from the night before. His whole night was spent trying to hunt down a single vamp, but she got away after a far too long chase. He took a comb through his hair before looking out to find that it was dark outside again. A sigh of exhaustion escaped his mouth as he thought of the day he had missed. I guess I'll just have to say I'm really, REALLY, sick. It's been a week since I've been able to see the sun. He thought, not daring to speak with fear he'd wake his neighbors through the thin appartment walls. He'd had bad experiences from coming home too late and waking them up at midnight. He quietly got prepared to leave, and headed out through the window to hunt for another night. He'd been hunting for a month, and none of the vampires would allow him to catch up enough to get a clear hit. He knew it was an unattainable request for them, but even on some of his worst nights before he'd been able to exhaust them enough for a good hit or shot.
As he set out to find anything at this point, even something small. Even though he was a vampire hunter, and the boss of someone, he would occasional hunt for less significant creatures for fun. He never hunted those that were innocent, and had a good sense of who was, but never hesitated if he had any doubt. This time he stopped by a bar before he headed out, just in time to grab a quick drink and head out to find some night dwellers.

(she's going to move to make things easier XD))

Quote:
Dahlia Dunstan
Lia awoke to a swirl of magical abilities and strange blood, the combination of so many people getting their temper and magic up disturbing her rest. The spirit disappeared as she awoke, as if hiding from her, not that Dahlia noticed. She packed her things quickly, always carrying her things with her though she fully intended to return. She left a note that she would return after she got a meal and signed the note with her name and a bunch of silly hearts. She then put her bag on her pack with her parasol tucked inside and picked up her raggedy doll. She held the plush toy to her chest as she headed out a window, following the strange scents. She would move through the light, bending it and stretching it to push herself from the forest to the city in less then a second. It was useless in a fight due to it taking so much concentration to do so without ripping herself in half but it was useful traveling.

She paused near the edge of the park which stood about at edge of all the strange energies and became visible in a glimmer of silvery moonlight, sniffing the air like a cat might when she felt something. One of the strange bloods were near. She stepped through the streets with the lightness of air, pausing in time to see a man punched which made her giggle to herself. Those who touched others without permission deserved punishment... Maybe she would make a snack of him later. Still she turned her attention back to the strange man who had caught so many other peoples attention. If they looked at her, so similar to a living porcelain doll in looks, she didn't seem to notice.

Hmm... This strange blood looked like a girl..... but he did not smell like a girl. Too much testosterone among other things. She smiled and followed him for a few moments, holding her arms around the plush cat toy. She wondered if he would notice her, even as she walked silently. Her strange mix of darkness and light was hard not to notice to the sensitive when she wasn't in her 'hidden' form, so usually if they couldn't notice her their magic was too low to be fun. That and her light skin, light hair, light cloths, all stood against the dark fairly strongly.

Thoughts of intimacy had never entered Virsat's mind, he had thought more along the lines of assassinating people or just running general errands. Like, go get that, or go take that to someone, just simple tasks of no real consequence but things the shop keeper might not be able to attend to herself while busy running a shop. Practical things. Though help with experiments would certainly be more interesting than just running errands. When the wolf howled, Virsat sighed softly, annoyance flickering over his features. That's all werewolves were to him, minor annoyances. Nothing more and nothing less. He generally tried not to quarrel with them, but he would kill one without hesitating if it meant he could keep his own life.

Crimson eyes blinked slightly when the shopkeeper spoke and another flicker of annoyance passed his features. All he had wanted to do was conduct his business and be off on his merry way. Still this was the woman's shop and she had a right to usher anyone out on the howl of a werewolf. Virsat blinked. Either the woman really did just remember something, or she was going after the wolf. He assumed the latter, but really it was none of his business. "Of course." Virsat spoke the words politely and turned towards the door. He passed the other vampire with a slight glance, and then he was exiting the shop and stepping out onto the sidewalk.

((Kiyo, there's still too much going on to change to day. I'm just going to wake Charlie so that I can RP this month. Lol))

Charlotte's eyes snapped open and she sat up in bed. Immediately she turned to the empty spot in the bed. It wasn't a nightmare. No, more of a memory. Hud wasn't there. He wouldn't ever be there again. An overwhelming sadness filled her and there she was, not breathing again.

Her chest tightened and a lump grew in her throat. She needed air. Charlotte pushed the sheets back and swung her legs off the bed and headed towards the large closet. She had few normal clothes, clothes that she would consider normal anyway. In her current state though, sweat pants and extra large sweat shirts were normal.

She flipped through sexy form fitting dresses and revealing shirts. All a part of her job. Finally she found an old Beatles t-shirt. In no time at all she was making her way out of the hotel lobby, old Beatles shirt, yoga capris and tennis shoes. Her hair was still in it's messy bun and she carried nothing with her but the room key in her pocket.

Once she was on the sidewalk Charlotte took deep, almost gasping breaths of air, but it didn't help. Her chest was still tight and she still didn't feel like she could breathe. The nightmare played over and over in her head. For the first time, Charlotte actually felt kind of angry. Why'd Hud have to go and leave her here all on her own like this? It was so fucking unfair, that selfish asshole.

Tears filled her eyes. She hadn't meant that. No, not at all. Charlotte needed to run. She wanted to run. She wanted to run until she couldn't run anymore. Run as far as she could and never look back. That's what she would do. Of course, Charlotte was no runner, she wasn't much of an athlete at all, and these yoga pants, well, she certainly intended on using them for yoga, but hadn't yet, not in the four years she'd owned them.

Still, Charlotte ran. Warm tears finally streamed down her cheeks as she headed no where in particular. It had been weeks since she'd allowed herself to cry, since she could cry. She was running as fast as she could. There wasn't anyone around, the occasional drunk or late night worker heading home. The skies were becoming cloudy and an occasional gust of wind would blow over that smelled like rain.

Charlotte welcomed the rain. No one would be able to tell she was crying if it rained and that's how she preferred it. She was still running as the first drops began to fall. Her legs burned but she kept on. Pain was the only thing that reminded her she still lived on after Hud. An eerie howl was heard in the distance, but Charlotte assumed it just a wolf from the nearby forest, still unaware of the existence of any other than vampires. She didn't think twice about the sound, no, she just focused on the pain and the rain on her skin.

She would have made some snide remark to try and provoke the other vampire, but this suited her just fine. With a nod for the woman, she followed the dark haired man outside. Her eyes had lingered longer over the witch, for that was what she seemed to be, then was strictly polite but ... The woman did seem like such a pretty morsel. Not one to be meddle with tough from the looks of things.

Terry still had far too many to kill before allowing herself to become prey. The redhead sidled closer to the other vampire, eying him with a deceptively friendly grin. "I'm new in town, know anyplace where I can get a quick snack?" It was all just part of her constant scheme, this other cheerful persona of hers. She did hope he thought she was a man, it always helped with these kinds of things.

"If you wait I'll be back ..." She said softly to the dark haired vampire, glancing at the red head. One eyebrow raised but she turned back towards the sound of the howl. She knew the local pack may have something to say... but if this was the one! She instantly took off towards the sound and where she felt the strange power emanated. She didn't couldn't help but smirk to herself as she ran towards the building, her curly hair streaking behind her. She would be back... or she would die.

This was what she had been living for, this was what made her cast her spells over mystic icy water and lay in it every night to keep her body frozen in time. It was painful and made her sick, but probably not as sick as the radiation for the cancer would be. It was a rapid cancer, one that would kill her in months so there was little point but she knew the doctors would try... they always did. With a vampires blood perhaps a healing spell could be twisted to cure it, despite the cells being her own simply twisted to destroy itself and spread. It was due to this that cancer was the one thing most witches could not cure. Magic existed in every cell of their body once they reached power like Valia, so the cancer had its own magic and could resist any spell of her own that attacked it directly. So she didn't attack it, she froze it.

She wasn't sure she would care anymore once the destroyer of all that she loved was dead. She had lived for revenge so long. She didn't think of it long, however, once she reached the building the werewolf was sitting on the edge of and taunting. She could feel it was twisted by dark magic... could feel the sheer power of the spell. It took more then a witch to cast such a spell... it wasn't human whatever it was. Either that or a full coven... no, such a spell would want a single master and no matter how evil a coven no one would want to give it to one witch over the others. It was a good way to get yourself killed. She didn't notice the other werewolf nearby, disinterested. Only the twisted scared one mattered to her.

Quote:
Barret Werewolf
It could see the hatred in the woman below, feel it. A predator, a true predator like itself. One who sought death, one who lusted for blood. The werewolf seemed to almost grin before turning from them both. It would leap along the building roofs to reach the park, leaping into the trees. It could fight best there and wanted to see the woman fight. It wanted her blood as much as she wanted its own. She felt familiar, that was enough for it to want to seal her death. It leaped down into the trees, waiting for the witch and the other werewolf to arrive.

((there that should give him more to react to xD as well as reveal why she seeks revenge so badly. ))

Dante followed the unfamiliar feeling towards the park in the city. He paused at the gates looking around the scene in the moonlight. His thoughts were torn once more, was he wise to go on his own? The monks would always call him foolish for running off headfirst into things, without thinking it through. He crossed his arms against his chest. He had to do something soon, or he was going to be stuck just thinking all night. He took a step into the park but paused again, looking across into the line of trees as whispers filled his ears. An all to familiar jackal stood there staring across at him. What did she want? Why was she here? Dante had been told she was his spirit guide, and would help him, but at many times the dog like animal was more of a mystery then any help.

It turned, looking off into the trees on his right, where the energy seemed to be coming from. It was like the thing was telling him something, but he had no idea what. "Dammit, why cant this whole spirit stuff ever be easy?" he whispered under his breath. His hip grew slightly warm, as if the cards were responding to that. He takes a deep breath to steady and calm himself. "Ok ok...I'm going" he says walking a bit more in the direction of the jackal. She did not move, and still looked to the right. He made it to the center, then turned himself towards the direction she was looking at. His eyes close for a moment, and as custom in his temple he began to say a small prayer under his breath in his native tongue. He could feel the spiritual energy around him moving, listening to him. He had to play this smart, he had no intention of losing his life.

"Because then it'd be boring" Lia muttered more to herself then anything as he asked about spirits. She shifted suddenly, something apparently making her more curious. Salt water when no where near the ocean often meant something interesting happened. The shaman didn't seem to notice her and it rather bored her that he was more interested in the wolf. With the power surrounding him he would be put down...possibly by the local wolf pack. They couldn't be exposed by such a messy, messy poppet could they?

Bored she would pull her parasol from her back, opening it to protect herself from the rain. She found the sent muddled by it but focused on her powers to heal. Dots of pain, emotional and physical, appeared in her minds eye as if floating. She followed the only one within scent distance and soon arrived to see charlotte. She stepped in front of her and held the umbrella over them both as she gave her a warm, innocent little smile... if a closed lipped one that emphasized her perfect cupid bow lips and somehow made her look younger despite their pink color.

"Pretty Miss will get wet. Can I walk with you and share my parasol?" She said cheerfully as explanation. She seemed like a child acting an older woman to let her play adult and walk with her. It was an easy thing to fall for despite her height, especially with the 'lolita livestyle' so popular now. The woman seemed to easy a target, too emotionally upset, to be fun to snack on but at this rate she'd head straight for the wolf.... Little human poppets without weapons had no business there right now. No fun watching easy kills, no fun with a predictable match.

Charlotte's tennis shoes thumped against the pavement, almost inaudible over the sound of the falling rain. Up ahead, a woman appeared. Had she been standing there all along? Charlottle slowed to a stop before the woman. She sniffled and wiped at her face. Her hair was still pulled back in it's now messier bun, with random pieces stuck to her face and neck from the rain. Her Beatles shirt was nearly drenched from sweat and rain, and her smooth skin glistened as beads of water trickled down the bare parts of her arms and legs.

She was breathing hard. Finally, she was breathing again. She wiped at her forehead and looked back in the direction of her hotel. Where had she even run to? How long had she been running for? Her eyes were puffy, her lips a plump red, her nose rosy, and her body aching.

Charlie turned back to the woman. Who was out this late in the rain? Well Charlotte was, and she didn't even have protection from the rain. The woman couldn't have been a vampire, why would they care to carry umbrellas? They had superhuman speed and could easily escape the rain if they didn't want to be in it. Had she questioned everything she needed to to assess the current situation in a way that kept her out of harm? Probably not, but Charlotte wasn't the best at making decisions, probably another reason her boss kept most information about her missions confidential.

She nodded a simple yes, but hesitated. The woman seemed almost childlike, but she didn't really look it, not really. Little red flags should have been popping up all over Charlotte's mind, but they didn't. She stepped forward under the parasol and sniffled again. Her olive eyes taking in the woman's strange attire for a moment before saying quietly, "I don't actually know where I am. I guess, I'm lost." She didn't guess, she was definitely lost. Lost in this city, but more so lost in life. Another tear rolled down her cheek.

"Pretty Poppet isn't lost, I found you so you're found. We should go to the tower if you have no where to go miss, the sky is so pretty from there." She responded cheerfully as she pulled a lacy handkerchief from her pocket. It was embroidered in a classic fashion with the initials D.D. She used it to slowly dry Charlotte's face, seeming unaware that the other woman was crying....or pretending to be unaware at least. She continued to simply smile at the other woman until her face was dry and then took the other woman's hand, with the handkerchief between them slightly so her hand wouldn't feel as cold.

"My name's Dahlia. What's your name?" She asked as she began to lead them towards the tower. She leaned against the other woman slightly, her umbrella balanced to protect the other woman more then herself and her plush toy under the arm holding the umbrella. She hummed a lullaby softly as she continued to wait for an answer, skipping in a childlike manner but with an unnatural grace. She continued to smile warmly at the other woman, as always the perfect picture of happiness and innocence. Perhaps she really was always that happy if not so innocent.

Speaking of innocence, the woman was being fairly innocent and cooperative. A dangerous thing in these streets. Yes, she would be far too easy a meal but fun to go stargazing with, so ironically was probably safest with the little vampire. Tonight's fight would be visible to her from the tower just as easily as the stars. She didn't much like being alone and an innocent human was often better company then a dozen vampires. So she focused on keeping her hand a little warm, figuring the rain would take care of explaining some of the cold.

Virsat nodded at the shop keeper's words. His decision was made then, he would wait. For a brief moment he frowned when the other vampire spoke to him, it was obvious to him the girl was a girl, but pretending to be a boy. No vampire would be fooled by such a thing, at least, Virsat didn't think it would fool a vampire or a werewolf for that matter. Her scent was distinctly female, her voice and her features. All one needed was sharp eyes, sharp sense of smell and sharp ears. All the things a vampire had. Virsat looked her over fully once and then moved to lean against the wall next to the shop door.

"...You might have some luck finding a homeless person sleeping in an alley." He spoke those words politely, knowing full well some vampires would take offense to the idea of drinking from a homeless person. Still, blood was blood, as long as it sustained why care how wealthy the owner of that blood was? Virsat watched the girl carefully, wondering just how she would react to that. She looked young, or rather, fresh. Virsat was young, but he had had a good teacher, still he was nearly certain this girl was much younger than him. A fledgling perhaps? But she seemed so independent.

The air in the bar was thick with the scents of alcohol, smoke and sweat. A young man with light brown hair sat in a corner booth, a bottle of whiskey and shot glass setting on the table in front of him. His jade eyes slowly scanned the bar as he downed another shot. It was starting to seem more and more like that coming to this bar was a waste of his time. The only good thing about it was the fact they had good whiskey. Jasper stared at the bottle which debating on whether or not he wanted another shot when the distant howl caught his attention. The humans in the bar weren’t able to hear it over all the noise, but with his extra sensitive hearing he was. A grin formed on his lips as he grabbed his katana that rested in the corner of the booth.

In the past he had some luck with following the howls of others like himself and he wasn’t about to miss out on any lead that could be gained. Quickly the male paid his tab and disappeared into the dark streets. He breathed in the clean air a few times before sniffing the air. The rain had deluded the scents in the air, but he could tell there was a mixture of at least one werewolf and possibly a vampire. He was too far away at the moment to tell for sure.

As thoughts about other events and people, cirlcled around in his head, he ran a hand lightly through his hair. Standing from the chair, he slowly moved down the rug once more. Sliding his hand along the cool metal of the doorknob for a moment. A thought popped into his mind, what if all his little pieces fell into place to soon? He shakes his head slightly, and a playful smile tugged at his lips. This would be simple, it had always been simple for him and none of it would be known until it was to late. He shakes his head, no point in lingering on it so long at this moment, things in the early stage were no use trying to rush. He steps out of the doorway, into the main hall. The gargoyles growl lightly, and he knew his 'guest' had taken off. He turned, walking up to his room in the west wing, cut off from all other rooms in the home. It was hidden so that not even that childish vampire would be able to find it. It was protected by strong magic set up long ago by a wiccan he had brought home, then added to his collection.

A cat jumpped up on the bed, Lumos meowed watching his master. Running a hand lightly over the head of the cat, he smiled at the purrs emited from it in responce. A very unique cat he was. Slender and strong, but with violet eyes. He was as old as Kaonashi himself, they had been together since the beginning. He laid on the bed, and the cat moved to his side. He stroked the cat's back, relaxing as he focuses on the cat. His mark spreads out across the felines back, and Lumos looked deep into his eyes. Kaonashi's eyes closed, as the cat's flashed red for a moment, then back to their deep violet color. It was odd seeing things from the eyes of a cat. It took a minute for Kaonashi's energy and mind to sync with Lumos'. Soon he jumpped off the bed, exiting the room the way in which he had come.

Outside the gargoyles growled and whooped slightly, one picking him u and taking off out the window. It flew him down to the edge of the city, then took off to stay in the clouds, watching with the others. Kaonashi turned away, padding down the street. No one payed much attention to the black cat, and that made it easier for him to move about. He walked past a couple of vampires in the ally, feeding off of a woman. The hair on the back of his neck bristled lightly. Foolish he thought, they were to bold, anyone could walk up and see them. He aused across from the park entrance, so far he only sensed one person there. That was no fun at all, his tail swayed behind him as he sat there patiently. A scent wavered past him, it was his guest from home. Seemed the girl had found a playmate. Curious, he turned away from the park, padding his way down the street towards her scent.

While going through the town, Chuck had noticed a vampire following a man. He knew it was a vampire due to the fact that he'd seen her before, but had had no reason to hunt her yet. Even for vampires, he wouldn't kill an innocent one, and this one was hard to put down as good or bad. In some way a good vampire helped the cities, by killing off the rapists or killers instead of those who had done nothing, so he let a few live. This time she was following a young lady he'd never seen before, at least that was what it looked like, so he decided to follow her so to make sure she didn't do anything bad. He really wanted to get a kill in before he left the night, and decided this was his best chance.
While he was following her, a howl rang through that caught the human girl's attention, but not the vamp. She ended up leaving, which Chuck a respectable distance away, and heading towards something he wasn't sure of. He began to think of whether she had noticed him, and was going to try to kill him with a trap, but let it leave his mind as he saw a familiar shape. As they got closer he noticed that it was Charlotte. What was she doing walking around at night?! She should have known it was dangerous, and now she was talking right to a vamp with no known protection. He didn't know if she'd be in trouble, so he put most of his weapons down and kept a single stake on him in case the vampire tried to hurt her. He hadn't seen her since Hud died, but still cared for her like a friend. With a lighter load, Chuck jumped up on to the rooves of the houses and other buildings, occasionally a tree in a large gap, and kept watch on his helper and his target.

Dahlia continued to hold onto Charlotte slightly even as a familiar energy approached. She didn't glance behind her to see it, though she did absently wonder why the demon would follow her. He seemed so annoyed with her company earlier. Oh well, it mattered little. She was having fun and it was kind of an unspoken agreement between them that they did not interfere with one another to terribly much so saw no reason to interfere with him now. If he wanted to watch the stars...or the fight.. from the tower with her, he was welcome.

Still as she heard steps on the rooftops she would momentarily find that of interest. It felt human... a hunter perhaps? They and those of supernatural nature were all that tended to lurk on roof tops. Was he stalking her she wondered? Oh how novel, she hadn't been hunted in some time! She giggled to herself but said nothing, simply keeping the umbrella in place and waiting for the woman to answer her name.

Kaonashi followed quietly. He really wasn't intrest in the vampire at all. His companion was interesting, but nothing special to. He soon caught up to the two, his senses already alert to the man on the roof. How could humans be so foolish, he gueranteed though his prescence was still a mystery. He was merely a cat to those who didn't know better. He glanceed up at the roof confirming his suspicions. If cats could sigh, he would have by now. Inwardly though, he began to ponder the nights events. There was that other boy...he could be of use to Kaonashi. He turned on the next street, taking off towards the more residential part of the city. He ignored many of the people who passed him by, some commenting on how cute he looked. He wasn't interested in being made over in any way.

He made his way along the street. Hopping up on sheds, to hop over fences, avoiding dogs. He knew his way around pretty well. He had come to explore a few times, and had gotten used to the area. It was easy enough, and no one bothered him. Especially at this hour, with cerfew. People were all at home, thinking they were safe with their families at home. They had no idea about what was lurking right outside of their doors. He found it amusing, what would happen when they all found out about the truth. Would they be scared? Beg for their lives? He found humans begging to be amusing and quite a show. He turned to a side street, turning to a large two story house. This was it, the boy was inside.

Daedri was gently woken up from the long taxi drive by Sweet's soft voice. He always spoke to her softly. She could hear him paying the driver and getting out of the cab. She also heard the 'ting-ting-ting' of rain on the cab roof. Daedri didn't really mind the rain. She just didn't want her text getting wet. With that in mind she put the book under the large sweater Sweets had given her and unbuckled herself, "Thank you." she sleepily said to the driver before she got out of the cab.
The rain fell on her pale skin and dampened her hair. Her brown eyes pierced through the darkness. Jack was waiting on the curb with their luggage. His red eyes glinted at her through the rain and the smirk on his pale lips meant bad knews, "Where have you taken us, Sweets?" Daedri asked as she stepped up onto the curve with him. He wouldn't be smiling like that unless they had ended up in a troubled city. Sweets liked trouble too much for his own good.

Jack had paid the taxi driver, fetched the luggage and waited for Dee on the street curb. Even through the rain he could smell the fantastic scents of the city. He could smell the turmoil and all that he could make from it. His perfect world. When Dee finally got out the the cab and approched him, her question was one he was excited to answer, "Oh. A city perfect for me." he continued to smirk as the petite vampire rolled her eyes, "What is it Dee, don't think you could handle my world?" by this time she was standing next to him.

"Can we just get out of the rain Sweets?" Daedri looked at him with a tired face, "I'll deal with your life choices after a hot shower and a sweet meal." she looked off. Sweets was one strange man. He knew that places like this were hard for her. She could barely keep herself together in their old home.

Jack smirked again, "Of course Dee. Come on." he handed her her suitcase and led her to a nearby motel. He checked in, giving them a week to find a better place to stay and led her up to the room. Of course, like always, she passed right out when they finally got to the room. "So much for that hot shower." he chuckled to himself. Daedri had adapted the habbit of sleeping when she hadn't fed in a long time to make sure she didn't go hunting by herself. Jack had seen her do it once. It was magnificent. But Dee didn't like that part of herself, and Jack didn't mind hunting for the both of them. So, after making sure the room was locked and that Dee had the spare key, Jack went back out into the rain to find a "sweet meal" for him and his companion.

Charlotte absentmindedly noticed the stuffed toy that the girl carried. It was strange, but who was she to judge? This woman was being so kind, and maybe behind all of her nearly sickening cheer, she was lonely too. Why else would she be out here and inviting Charlotte to keep her company? As the rain slowed to a stop she wondered if the clouds would even have passed over in time to see any stars. It didn't matter though, Charlotte would go anyway. She was too dreadfully lonely not to.

"Charlotte Greene," she replied with a forced smile. She was trying to be polite, it just wasn't in her mood to be so at the moment. Her mind wandered. What had her real original name been, she wondered? Greene had been the name given to her by the system, so she called it. The only reason they'd known her first name at the orphanage was because that's what the tag on her teddy bear had said. The poor thing that had fallen apart so many years ago.

When Dahlia giggled, Charlie snapped out of her thoughts and glanced over to the girl curiously. Had she done something funny? She didn't think so. Charlotte wasn't much of a comedian these days. "What's funny?" she asked out of curiosity. Maybe Charlotte would get a laugh in this month.

"Charlotte is a pretty name. I think I like that name." Dahlia said with a soft smile, giving Charlotte's hand a soft squeeze. She seemed to genuinely mean it but ignored the question about her laughter. She saw no reason to tell the other woman they were being followed by a hunter, even if the demon had left. She would wait for the hunter to make the first move, it would be so much more dramatic up at the tower anyway. That would be much more fun.

"Do you like the stars lottie?" She asked cheerfully, shortening the other woman's name and emphasizing the e to give it a 'cuter' sound. She never did like calling anyone simply by their name, it wasn't her nature. She did peak out from under the umbrella briefly, even if it required her tilting so one pigtail would be spattered with rain. He moved quickly, well trained. She smiled to herself and turned back to charlotte, leaning her head on the other woman's shoulder again and wrapping her free arm around the other woman's arm as if to show she wasn't alone. To fool a vampire's senses took a little more then a forced smile. Her little Lottie was lonely...

((Ack!! So sorry!!)) Cali narrowed her eyes as the werecat set down the kitten and ran off. By the time she thought to ask Clyde for any input, he too had run off. Callisto ran her hands through her long hair and sighed. She glanced up at the moon, then around her to.make sure no one was watching, and she shifted. Calis muscles contracted, bones broke and rearranged themselves. She had shifted enough to be used to the pain, and shorten the time it took, but it was still an ordeal. Once she was done, a sleak, half furred wolf stood in her place. Cali used the beasts nose to track Abbey and Clydes sents, following them.

She made it in time to watch the unknown male taunt Clyde. He made her hackles rise and a defensive growl emitt from the back.of her throat.

Jack breathed in the cool night air. By this time the rain had stopped and everything had a musky scent to it. But even under all the musk, Jack could still smell the scents of the city. Enough, anyhow, to find what he and Dee both craved. As he walked he thought about how interesting it was that he and older vampire had the same tastes for blood: young, corrupted women. It showed a lot about who Daedri really was under that precious mask of calm she always kept.

Jack, without having to look, turned into a dark alley. Farther down the street he smelled the scent of a vampire and a human; both women. And above those scents, he smelled a human male. Jack wondered what exactly was going on there. Maybe he woudl find otu after he ate.

Why Jack had chosen this alley was for the young prosittute who was recovering from her last client alone in the alley, "You know," Jack spoke with a very low and soft voice, "you should never, ever, stay in an alley alone." his red eyes looked up from the smooth tangle of black hair that fell over his face. He could hear her heart quicken and her eyes were filled with a fear that Jack had so missed seeing. The girl slowly began to step away from jack, trying to exit out of the other side of the alley when she bumped into something. Jack smiled as he saw the familliar brown eyes and meloncholy face.

Daedri didn't sleep for that much longer after Sweets had left the hotel room. Her insides hurt from how little blood she had consumed in the past week that she and Sweets had been traveling from their birth city to this one. Daedri curled up into a ball on the stiff hotel mattress an dsqueezed her eyes closed, trying to will herself to sleep. Usually she slept until Sweets came back with something, but it was obviously that she wasn't going to last that long this time. So with a disgruntled sigh, Daedri got up out of the bed and headed for the bathroom.

The bathroom was a fantastic bathroom and Daedri vaugely remembered Sweets spesifically requesting a room with a bathroom like this. Daedri shook her head, "You need to stop playing so much to my vanity, Sweets." she said, mostly to herself. Vanity was another way she controlled her monster. When she had no calm, she cared nothing for her looks. But now that she had it, Daedri spent countless hours in front of the mirror, simple looking at herself. Looking at her calm. And she felt entitled to such vanity. Shouldn't all vampires? But Daedri wasn't int he bathroom to look at herself, she was there to clean up. So Daedri undressed and put her sacred text on the bathroom counter and stepped into the large shower.

Daedri didn't take too long of a shower, the pain in her stomach pushing her to wash up faster than she would have liked. Steamed wafted out into the rest of the hotel room as she exited the bathhroom and looked for where she had left her suitcase. It was then that she noticed that the room only had one bed. She shook her head. Sweets took every opportunity to be close to her, yet he never tried to take her in any way. It was strange.

Daedri, driven by the ever-worsening pain in her stomach quickly got dressed and dried out her silky brown hair. She pulled on a pair of simple, well-worn jeans and a tight white tanktop. She slid her feet into her favorite boots, pulled on another of Sweet's sweaters and grabbed her text. Shoving the text, her phone, and soem cash into a small passenger bag, Daedri headed out to find Sweets.

It didn't take her long to find him, not with how fast she was running. It had been much too long since she had a proper meal. Daedri saw Sweets turn into the alley and -knowing this trick- turned in one alley before so that she could enter Sweet's alley from the back. She saw the young morsel and Daedri held onto her calm very hard. She forced it onto her face and shoved the turmoil deep within her being. It lurched when the young woman bumped into her. The woman looked older than Daedri looked, but not by much, "He's right you know." Daedri said, her soft words showing her pointed fangs, "And this is why." Daedri, with hands faster than the humane yes could catch, snatched her girl and pushed her into the wall. Daedri sunk her fangs intot he girl and Sweets had his hand over her mouth before she could even think of screaming. The blood flowed into Daedri and she felt her strength returned in a sweet, fluid rush. But before she completely drained the you woman, she and Sweets changed places so the both of them could feed.

Jack and Dee took turns on the girl, taken deep even sips. By this time she was long gone and never coming back. Jack smiled as he watched Dee take another deep drink of the girl. The female vampire looked so youngand sad, one would never think of all the violence she was capible of, and how much she was holding back right now.

Jack took the last pull of blood from the girl since Daedri had taken the first. They had figured out this system a long time ago, "Ah. That was splendid. Now, sicne we're both much better than we were before, would you like to take a look around?" Jack asked his companion. She smiled, and after laying down the girl respectfully on the concreate, she nodded, "Why yes." and they two of them exited the alley, fresh and alive again to explore their new home.

((warning people, this will be a long one lol))

Quote:
Barret Werewolf
The wolf continued to taunt when it felt a familiar presence approach. With a howl it turned and ran towards the park, ignoring both wolves. It would only pause as it hit a tree deep within the park, seeing a small frail looking boy. It had been unable to eat its meal due to the other two pesky wolves, but this one looked like it could eat much of it before the other two caught up. It grinned to itself and began to stalk through the tree tops, encircling the shamen silently as it moved to attack from behind on instinct. It leaped out! It's claws at the ready.

Quote:
Valencia Kaleo
She ran faster, only pausing as she saw two wolves and in an ally what was likely too bodies. Neither of the wolves were the ones she sought. As she felt a shiver of disappointment she noticed a shadow heading for the park. It was clear now that both wolves sought the creature. She shouted a this way and started towards the park. Once she got there she would pause and frown in thought. Too easy to escape into the forest.

She held her fingers to her lips and closed her eyes before she whispered a two word Latin phrase. It would roughly translate to wind cage. At the first word a purple and blue swirling orb would appear on her fingertips. At the second she would swirl her hand outward in an arc towards the edge of the park's tree line. The orb rapidly began to form a swirl of energy and wind that soon encircled the park. It would not let the wolf leave but would let anyone enter. She could be more specific but that required time she didn't much care for. Instead she simply left the gate open to entrance so to speak and began to enter the park with her senses wide open though of course the wolf was far ahead of her... and unknown to her attacking a shaman.

Quote:
Mysterious Woman
She would arrive, covered in a dark cloak, appearing in a shadow near Clyde. She would put a hand on his wolfie shoulder and whisper a phrase that would momentarily force him to revert to human form. As he turned with an angry growl she would whisper one phrase that would stop him in his tracks. It was a simple phrase but held such a strange meaning, such an impossible meaning but one that she knew would fill Clyde with hope.

"You can bring Abby back.... Do you want revenge or do you want to save her life?" She asked softly, her head tilted to the side. Clyde viewed her with suspicion but asked how as she knew she would. A life for A life, she would explain. Without that one could only bring back a mere zombie, but with it the girl could be restored to her true life.... If Clyde would simply give his own. Clyde, in his grief and guilt, could only agree and the woman lead him to the body. She would push one corpse aside with another whispered spell, the shadows literally pulling it aside.

She would then put Abby's head back next to it and pull the spine from her heart. She then turned to clyde and asked him to lay down. She raised a silver knife and traced a circle around them in the concrete, a wall of shadow sealing them off so no one could interfere. She ignored any sign of fear Clyde might show and simply approached him and walked to him. She told him to focus on Abby, his memory and his feeling and close his eyes. The second he did so she simply slit his throat and laughed. Foolish.... those who cared for others were so very foolish.

As the power of his life began to escape him she would put her hand over his heart and her free hand over abby's torn chest and began to chant. The white light that was Clyde's life force flew through her body with a shiver and straight into Abby's. She reached for an old souls of power hidden in Abby's past but pulled her mind forward. As she did so Abby's body began to heal and cough up blood but she said nothing. She ignored the healing Abby and instead turned to Clyde. She would resurrect him as a mere zombie with her own blood, putting a scarf around his throat to hide the wound. She told Clyde to stand and gave him the dagger to kill Abby if her plan failed. She then withdrew to the shadows, disappearing with another laugh.

Quote:
Abby
Abby felt something icy and cold as she was forced back into her own body. She opened her those vivid blue eyes and looked up to see Clyde standing there. Something about his eyes seemed...different. He also smelled...strange. Still she looked down to her bloody clothes and touched the torn spot. There wasn't even a scar... the only scar was the old scar of the werewolf claws that had been the only mark on her pale skin. She looked up at Clyde a moment and asked what happened. He said there was a woman that had brought her back and he would take her too the woman. She reached forward to take his hand when she heard Clyde's voice shout 'No!' in her ear.

"Y...You're not clyde!" She said sharply as she drew back, afraid and confused, not knowing why she even said it. Why was soon clear to her as the body that had once been clyde leaped towards her to stab her with the silver dagger. Luckily for Abby Zombies are slow and she managed to dodge out of instinct. She began to back away but she was cornered in the ally way. No... she couldn't hurt him... she wouldn't hurt him. Clyde's soul appeared at the end of the ally way, as if to give her permission to fight back but she couldn't. She wouldn't... How could she kill Clyde? What if he could be brought back?

"Oh enough of this" Abby said, but the voice was different. It sounded older, more mature. The white rose pirate, one of the two past lives of Abby who had also been a feline therian, had been brought back into the body too and she had no intention of dying once again. She waited for the corpse to strike again, deliberately pressing herself as close to the wall as she could. When the creature struck she twisted and kicked the corpse away hard. As he slipped back the wall held the knife tight. The pirate queen pulled the knife from the wall and threw it to stab the zombie straight between the eyes.

The zombie stumbled back and for a moment lay still. Slowly it began to try to rise, the magic animating it trying to force it upwards. The pirate queen stepped slowly forward and stomped on the zombie's throat hard to break the neck. Once she had she pulled the head free without thought, not knowing Clyde or particularly caring. He was an animated corpse, already dead so what mattered? She felt the shaking personality in the back of her head thinking of fighting free just to get it buried and with a roll of her eyes the pirate queen muttered an 'alright alright' and began to gather up the body in a plastic bag stolen from the nearby trashcan in the ally. She would give it a proper christian burial she supposed.

Terrence let out a sigh and inched away from the other vampire. Turning away, her eye caught upon a shape she'd never thought to see, not here anyway. Rudely moving away, the redheaded girl began to run swiftly towards the person she'd been hired to exterminate. The figure flitted away, leaving not a sign behind her as she slipped away.

Cursing softly, Terrence stopped in her tracks and pulled out the picture. It had definitely been her. She'd looked like she was leaving the city, and so would she as well.
