Will shot up hearing May trying to stand "No, no.." he said "don't" his arms outreached motioning for her to stay. "We need to get this leg sorted" he said wiping away sweat from his forehead. "Just lay down and I'll see what I can do" he instructed, turning to the crate and pulling out various medical supplies. Will was amazed that they were able to salvage the things that were so precious to them now. He remembered urging Dr. Rider to pack more medical supplies, despite the doctors reluctance to take more time over getting hold of what Will thought would be crucial in any accident on the island.

Meanwhile, Dr. Rider searched endlessly around the wreckage, moving further and further away. His mind felt delirious with dehydration and the high humidity. Multiple times he forgot what exactly he was looking for, his memory not quite what it used to be, but right now the drowsiness threatening to take him out. The only thing he could hold onto was the prospect of fulfilling his idea. To him, survival came second. He needed to prove of the birds existence if he were to make this disaster worthwhile. He looked out across the horizon of the ocean, shaking his head as if to shake away the possibility that his gadgets were long gone beneath the surface of the blue. His hands shook as he pulled and pushed away pieces of debris from the boat, straining against each wave.

"Hold still" Will took out saline solution and carefully pulled away the tangled mess of the boy's shirts, now dry with blood, away from May's leg before cleaning the laceration. It was long and open, the skin ripped and muscles showing. He took out a syringe and needle, looking up at May "I'm going to have to stitch this" knowing that it wouldn't be easy and that May would not be enthusiastic about the pain. "The anaesthetic should help" he said reassuringly as he took the needle and injected the area. He rummaged through the box that he had opened, checking that he had everything he needed.

Whilst he waited for the anaesthetic to do it's job, he remembered the water only a few metres away "We should have some water" he said, feeling slightly dizzy as he moved to retrieve it. He took two bottles and passed one to May, swigging from his own, his throat rejoicing. The thirst begged him for more as he gulped it down, even knowing that they only had a limited suply, it was too hard to refrain from gulping down the fresh water.

Will washed the wound again with saline before taking out the needle to stitch the wound. "Okay" he said with an exhale, as if to prepare them both. He had done many stitches, but from what he could remember, this was the largest laceration he had been responsible for stitching. Will pinched the skin together at the top of the wound as he started the stitch.

Despite her reckless childhood, May had never really been injured, never broken a bone, never gotten stitches. No, Collin was the one who always ended up hurt. She trusted Will well enough, he had a medical background, he seemed to know what he was doing, but still... stitches? Here on the sandy beach while she was still awake? She did not like the idea of that. The saline hadn't been so bad, it her whole leg was more of a dull ache than anything, which by now she barely felt. Even the shot, to numb it, barely registered in her clouded mind.

The water proved further distraction, she gulped it down, finishing off half of the bottle before she could stop herself. A moan escaped her, her throat enjoying the cool water, easing the soreness from the salt that felt like it was still caked with. It took all her remaining will power to cap the bottle and set it down beside her, still half full. She might need it later...

"Just... be quick." She muttered, turning away and closing her eyes. She wasn't one for blood and guts and the likes. She felt him cleaning it, then a bit of pressure as he began with the needle. "Oh, that's not so..." She wasn't able to finish, she had dared a glance, and one look at the needle through her skin and she was out, collapsing back into the sand.

The blood on the needle made it hard to hold, but Will kept going with the stitches, trying to be as quick as possible for May's sake. Will glanced up to see May collapsed on the sand. He realized that this was not a particularly pleasant sight to witness. Although, it was probably be easier if she weren't aware. The wound was messy, despite cleaning it as well as he could, the skin teared and open. He concentrated on closing the wound with the stitches. The skin came together well, making his way down the leg, tying off the stitches as he went. Will leant over to his kit and picked out the small surgical scissors, cutting off the suture material at the end of his last knot. He wiped away the dried blood around the stitch, checking his work, before rummaging in the kit to find the bandages. He knew very well that in this environment it would be nearly impossible to keep the bandage dry and clean, but the risk of infection was too high not to keep up with replacing bandages often. He hoped there would be enough to last however long they were stuck there.

Will pulled out the first one he came across. He unrolled the bandage and lifted May's leg, wrapping the material around many times to cover the stitched wound, trying to keep her skin as clear of sand as possible. He tied the bandage three times to make sure it was secure.

"There we go" Will said quietly with a tired sigh, knowing neither May or Collin would hear him. They looked peaceful, even with their ripped clothes and bruised skin, liked they were lulled into a sleep by the hypnotic sound of the waves. Watching their chests rise and fall sent Will into a daze, exhaustion numbing his body and making his head swirl with drowsiness. Sleep called him. But he knew that he would be no help if he joined them and laid down and surrendered to the fatigue. He looked up at the sky, the sun had moved so far in the blink of an eye. How long had they been under the shelter? Where was Dr. Rider? Will spun his head round to face the ocean. Even the concept of Dr. Rider being there started to creep into doubt. The delirium was starting to affect Will's perception. No, Dr. Rider had gone to look for supplies. He must be somewhere out there. Will thought of how he should go and look, in case he was in trouble, but his body felt disconnected and moved at a snails pace. He managed to stand up, after closing his kit to keep safe, and look out to sea, shielding his eyes with his hand as he entered the sunlight once more. Will snapped back into reality as he saw Dr. Rider making his way back towards him.

Dr. Rider staggered out of the water, holding onto a silver packages stuck together. Although it didn't look like much, Dr. Rider had found pouches of camping food floating in the water among the debris. Two packs of three pouches wouldn't last them a lifetime, but could keep them going at least for now. He raised his arm slowly, lifting the packages up high, his breath heavy and sweat beading across his head. "Food" he breathed, not loud enough, but the motion of which able to attract Will's attention. Will jogged over to Dr. Rider, putting his hand on his shoulder "Are you okay?" he asked, concerned. Dr. Rider only replied with more heavy breathing "Come, get in the shade, lie down" Will instructed with urgency. He took the packages off him as Dr. Rider reached the shade. Will hadn't realized how hungry he felt until he saw the packaged food, his stomach now groaning at the prospect. "Thank God" he said "We needed this" looking up at the others. He nodded to Dr. Rider in thanks and Dr. Rider nodded back, trying to catch his breath and cool down.

Collin gasped and sat upright, he was drenched in sweat, his heart beating fast. For a moment he thought he was back in the wreckage, the ocean trying once more to swallow him. Gasping for air he clawed at the sand around him, it taking a moment to sink in where he was, what had happened. The ship had crashed and they were... That's right, he had built this small shelter, had helped drag May here... May! He groaned when he turned his head too fast, searching for her. She was asleep not far away, her leg bandaged, the clean white contrasting against his dirty skin, her ripped and ragged clothes, and the angry red marks covering her body. Yet she was here.

It took a moment for him to process the whole scene again, finally he noticed Will and Dr. Rider. It all seemed to come back to him, he remembered Will helping with May, and Dr. Rider finding the crates in the wreckage... The crates! A tent, shelter for them until they could be rescued. "The tent..." He grumbled to himself, stretching his legs and forcing his body to move. They had to do something to protect themselves, they didn't know what lived on this island and a tent would be their best bet. Something bit his leg, he looked to see a small speck. Fleas, perhaps? They were common enough in the sand back in the States, anyways. Yes, they needed to get out of the sand.

Once he was on his feet it wasn't so bad, he felt rested, though a bit sore. Will looked tired, so did Dr. Rider, he smiled and looked at them, "You guys rest, I'm going to figure out these tents..." The sun was still hot but he tried to ignore it as he dug through the crate, pulling each item out. A large, dark green, canvas tent came out first, followed by a smaller navy one. Perhaps it had been Dr. Riders personal tent? Or maybe a food tent... He set those on the ground and pulled out the rest. Three lanterns, only one of them broken, a container of fuel which he assumed were for the lanterns, a large mess kit, with pots and pans and utensils, as well. He struggled leaning into the large crate, reaching for the items at the bottom. Small, lightweight cots came out next, ten of them in all, a stark reminder of how lucky the four of them were. Sleeping bags and netting in the same numbers were folded neatly and set aside. He pulled out a strange, folded item with small metal bits and cloth, surprised when it unfolded to be a small stool they could sit on. Five more of those followed before he uncovered the tools at the bottom of the crate, an ax, machete, some matches, and a few flashlights, crank handles on the side of them.

With all the items now spread out in the sand he looked around, trying to figure out the best place to put the tent. Once he settled on a spot, half shaded by an overhanging tree, he dragged the large roll to it, untying the knots that held it together. As he unrolled the tent, nearly a hundred small, metal poles fell out. He groaned, knowing this was going to take awhile. He focused first on spreading out the large tent, the green canvas stretching further than he thought it would. It must have been large enough for ten people to sleep, eat, and relax in...

Once he stretched out the canvas he set to work putting together the poles. He was determined to get this done himself, since Will had been so helpful with May's injuries, and Dr. Rider was... well, he was older and already had done a lot.

Dr. Rider flinched as Collin woke suddenly from sleep. The look in Collins eyes brought back memories for Will, sending his head into a spin. Luckily Collin recovered quick and got to his feet to start making the tent. They were lucky to have found most of the essentials for staying in the jungle. Will worried about food, looking dubiously at the small packets of camping food that Dr. Rider had brought back. It was enough to share for the night and in the morning, but he knew that it would be hard on their bodies if they didn't keep nourished enough to brave the heat and exertion that surviving on this island would bring.

Dr. Rider laid back on the sand, appreciating the respite the shade offered, and stared up at the tree tops above him in awe of the sight. He closed his eyes as the headache pulsed around his temples. He heard Collin say something about the tents and listened to the sounds as he unpacked the crate. Dr. Riders swayed in and out of sleep, a thin layer of sweat covering his face, until a quiet breathy snore began it's rhythm from his mouth.

Will looked at the others in turn, and then spotted the medical kit he had used for May's leg, remembering he would have to bandage his head. He moved over to retrieve a gauze and bandage which he wrapped three times across his forehead and around the back of his head to keep the gauze in place. Only after cleaning the wound and using a stitch closure plaster to ensure it would heal together. The bandages acted like a sweat band and looked very much similar to one too. Will put away the medical kit and scanned over the items that Collin had laid out. He looked carefully to identify and item that would be detrimental to their survival and to keep them safe at night.

The ignition steel tool was incredibly important, so when Will spotted red handles of the black steel rods tied together he let out an "Ah-ha" in relief. He got to work straight away, going into the forest of trees to find dry wood, kindling and rocks. He had used the tools before and lit a fair few fires on camping trips back home. He stopped in his tracks as his mind cast back to the days his younger brother was around. Will carried on silently and placed his findings near enough to Collins tent and started to use the steel and blade to find a spark. His continuous effort paid of, after five minutes a small spark took to the kindling and Will fought to keep it alive. He smiled to himself, proud of his achievement, and then looked up to Collin. "Collin!" Will called "Fire!" his fatigue stunting his ability to elaborate, caveman terms would do for now. Will added more wood as the fire grew into a steady form. Satisfied, he sat down, leaning to his side and looked over to May, catching his breath and gathering energy to go and help Collin complete the tent.

Oh how Collin wished for his tent back home, one of those new instant ones that went up in about two minutes. Obviously it wasn't as large as this one, but the sun beating on his back made him realize he didn't care. The metal poles scattered on the green canvas looked daunting and he sighed, wondering how he'd manage to figure this out. He circled the canvas, trying to figure out how exactly it worked. He felt like there were probably enough poles for two tents, rather than just this one.

On his second circle he noticed that one end seemed to be a bit thicker. He tugged at the dark green canvas, which unfolded even more. "Damn." He muttered under his breath while he stretched out the canvas once more, it growing another third in size. It was bigger than his apartment! Well, ten people were supposed to be living in it, so he supposed it made sense. A booklet of yellow paper had dropped to the sand. Instructions, of course. Why wouldn't the tent have come with them? He felt dumb.

Taking a break in the shade, Collin looked through the booklet, the words and illustrations making it seem like such a simple task. He stood to go ad sort the poles, distracted for a moment when Will called out to him. "Fire?" Oh, it seems Will had managed to get one going and Collin hadn't even noticed. The last thing he wanted was to be near the heat, but it might prove useful for cooking... if they had food, which he didn't think they had much. All he could picture was the large metal trunk, filled with what was to feed ten people for weeks. The protein bars, snacks, canned meats and vegetables, all of it possibly at the bottom of the ocean. His stomach growled at him, apparently just as upset by the loss.

Since Will seemed to be resting, Collin sorted the poles by size, wanting to make sure he used the right ones. It didn't take long after that before he was shoving them into the pockets and forming the roof of the tent. The entire edge was rimmed with poles, and long ones connected to run down the center. Others stemmed out the edge towards the center, holding it up in a tall peak. It seemed all that was left was the side poles and the center two. Then they could stake it into the ground, which would probably be difficult to do in the sand, but if another storm like the one that wrecked them showed up, they would be glad to have it stay in place.

"Hey Will, feelin' up to helping?" He wasn't even sure Will would be able to, he seemed tired, and the bandage on his head probably wasn't a good sign, but he wasn't sure he could get the sides up on his own. They'd need to life the top up and work quickly to put in the supports, one on each side, until it was standing up. Once they got it up, they'd at least be able to hide inside from the sun.

Will had slipped into a trance, watching the flames lick up around the twigs. He realized that his mind was not functioning properly as he remembered that they used to use sage on the fire to keep away bugs and flies, something they didn't have to hand. He sighed as he stared into the light, at least the incandescent glow will provide light when the sun will soon depart, he thought.

He pushed against his knees with his hands to pull himself up to standing, head rush twisting and pulling at the ache behind his eyes, just as Collin called over. "Yeah, coming" Will replied as the head rush faded, taking slow and steady steps to start with. "Looks.. complicated" he said, taking in the sight of the large tent flat on the ground "But hey, you've done well so far" he smiled. Will moved round to one side of the tent so that he could help lift it up with Collin. He held onto the support and pushed it into the ground, the sand a little too soft, but would hold for tonight. "You got that side?" Will asked, a little louder to make up for the tent between them.

Collin nodded in agreement at the statement of it being complicated, but it was all they had so he couldn't complain much. With Will in place he hurried to his side and fit the pole into place and forced it into the sand. It slid and was not as sturdy as he'd have hoped for, but perhaps with all of them in place they'd manage it. "Got it!" He called out in response to Will, hoping the man heard him. His throat was dry which made it difficult. "Alright, same thing all the way down!" He called out again, his voice cracking a bit from the effort but he was sure Will would get the message. He worked quick, grabbing the poles and forcing them in.

The back of the tent now lifted, taking shape, and as they worked along the entire thing was slowly going up. He all but rushed through it, needing to get it done so he could take a break. That short rest hadn't done much, but he didn't want to spend the night out in the open, so this was the most important thing they could do. Hopefully Will was able to keep up as Collin worked towards the front, going down the line of poles and hoping it would hole.

The tent was quite large, so Will had to reach across to grab the next poles to hold up as Collin lifted from the other side. He pushed the supports into the sand as quick as he could to get them all done. Once they all seemed to be steady on his side, Will stepped back and said "Is that it?" looking around the sides of the tent and wiping his brow with his arm. "Looks good" he added, impressed with what Collin and himself had accomplished. He was sure May and Dr. Rider would appreciate it also, although Dr. Rider may not show it, May would probably be thankful.

Will stood by the entrance to the tent and lifted the unzipped doorway to the side to peek inside. "Perfect" he said with a nod to Collin. The sight of the empty tent reminded Will of the others. The others that were meant to be there, sharing the tent. He expected it to be cramped and busy on this trip; ten people trying to cope with each other in their personal space. But no, that would never become a reality, and now Will wished it could be, the empty space looking lonely and stale. He scrunched his eyes together, trying to get the picture of their lifeless bodies swaying on the waves, but that just brought the image on stronger. He tried to focus. Focus on the four of them, they were the ones that needed help now and Will would do his best to keep them safe. He opened his eyes and let go of the tent door, turning away.

The sky had swirls of blue and wisping clouds of grey, washed across the paling yellow colours of the sun, moving closer and closer to the horizon. The storm no longer seemed imminent, but the dark grey clouds still loomed around the corners of the sky. Dr. Rider was standing up now, Will asked as he spotted him "Feeling okay?", Dr. Rider replied, nodding, "Yes" he said quietly. "Ah" he said louder, seeing Collin stood by the new addition, "you built the tent!" his tone suddenly became more positive. The feeling of familiarity rushed over him unexpectedly. It was as if the storm never happened, as if the mission was playing out like he had planned. It was only a tent, but to Dr. Rider it seemed to signify something more. Somehow, Dr. Rider could easily convince himself that his plan was going well.

Will walked over to near May, stopping to look over her as she breathed deeply in her sleep, and picked up the packets of food Dr. Rider had left on the sand and looked at them closely. He thought about how they really should save them for later. It would be hard to leave them sealed when their stomachs rumbled, but what if that was all they had? And what if no one came to find them? The sky was so vast, but unlike on the mainland, not a plane exhaust trail in sight. The island was populated with wildlife, not people, and that was the whole reason they were here.

Collin wouldn't have been able to do the tent on his own, so he was glad for Will's help. May would be upset about not being useful, but it couldn't be helped at this point, right now he just wanted to focus on keeping her alive. Tomorrow he would search the island itself for any plants that might help her, but for today, they just needed to get a base set up if they wanted to survive. He noticed Will looking to the clouds when he came around the tent, it made him frown. Was it going to storm again? Perhaps making the tent more sturdy would be a good idea.

He found the long metal stakes with the rest of the supplies, as well as a rubber mallet. The thick cords seemed to already be attached to the canvas, so Collin figured he could at least do a few, for now. Will was talking to Dr. Rider and checking on May, so Collin didn't bother him, instead he worked quickly, pounding the long stakes mostly into the ground then tying the cord tight. He did one at each corner and was already panting and struggling to catch his breath. Even with the sun setting it was still hot and he wondered if they'd get any relief. His stomach growled at him, reminding him how long he had gone without food, his throat screaming for water. Yet he couldn't stop, not yet.

Everything around him seemed to spin and he stumbled a bit on his feet as he picked up the supplies near the crate. He placed four of the cots inside, along with sleeping bags, netting, and chairs. Most of the extra he put back in the crate for now, setting the heavy lid on top. He left out the two good lanterns, the fuel, and a matchbox. It didn't take long to get one of the lanterns working, and despite his wariness at using a flame inside the canvas tent, he took it inside.

He finished the assembly of the tent with the two metal poles that supported the center, and hung the lantern on a hook in the middle. Has they not wrecked, he supposed this would be a nice adventure, and a very nice tent to stay in. Yet now it seemed strange, an inadequate to the hospital he felt they needed, at least for May. By the time he set up the four cots he was out of breath and sat on the canvas floor of the tent, glad to just be out of the sand and sun. He struggled to focus on anything, he didn't remember hanging up two lanterns, or setting up so many cots...

A groan escaped him and he fell to his side, holding his head in his hands. In his effort to set up their camp he had worked himself too hard, the lack of food and water, and the possibility that he was suffering from heat stroke, was not a good combination and he felt sick. All he could do was dry heave, there was nothing that could possibly come. He just needed a moment, then he'd find Will, and the water they had found...

===

May blinked, why was it so bright still? She felt like she had been sleeping for hours, maybe even days... Her whole body ached and she groaned as she tried to sit up. Near where she lay she could see Will, he seemed to be holding some silver packets. Had they found the food chest? She hoped so, her stomach groaning as a reminder that she hadn't eaten. "Will?" She managed to mumble, her throat sore and scratchy.

She had managed to prop herself up on her elbows, even if the sand dug into her skin it was better than laying on her back any longer. Her leg was covered in a fresh bandage, which brought back the memory of Will stitching it and her passing out. Her cheeks heated, a blush creeping up them, at the idea of being so weak. A cough wracked her body, her throat so dry she felt like had swallowed sand. Perhaps she had, there was enough of it around. "Is there any water?" She managed to ask when the coughing ended.

Will heard his name and looked up sharply from the food packets to where May was sitting on the floor. Her voice sounded rough and dry as his name escaped her. "May" he responded. "How do you feel?" he added after a pause, squatting down to see her at eye level. She needed water, Will lunged over to pick up the water nearby and handed it to her after unscrewing the lid. "Here" he said as she took it to drink. He looked down at her leg, using his hand to check the bandage was still secure and that there was no bleeding through the gauze. "Your leg's looking better" he smiled, happy to know that it was going to be okay, and also a little proud at how he managed to do such a substantial procedure in their circumstances. "You passed out for a while though" he continued "but hopefully you feel a little better know?"

Dr. Rider made his way over to Collin at the tent. The tent was large and stood it's ground, set in the surroundings of the jungle trees. It was the only stable thing around. After the boat had been wrecked, the whole place had been left in ruins and left them vulnerable, but now they at least had somewhere to take cover and keep themselves grounded. "Hey" he said to get Collins attention. "You did all this while I was asleep?" he asked nonchalantly, although he very well knew the answer. He looked inside to see the cots, frowning a little to see only four. The realization gave his chest a small sharp sting. His memory had always been rocky, but the wreck had left him feeling like he had a hangover which did no favors for his confusion.

The sky was quickly turning shades deeper, the sun making it's way out of sight, soon the light would be gone and Dr. Rider felt unsettled, but one thing he was certain of was that the darkness brought relief with a closure to the sight of the shipwreck and bodies spread across the shoreline in the distance.

The water was amazing, even if it wasn't as cool as she'd like. At least her throat only flt like it was slightly on fire now. May frowned, looking away. "Sorry about that, I've never been very good with blood..." She muttered, a bit ashamed of the fact. It had been a sore issue for her, since in her field, and classes, she had been forced to dissect various rodents. Each time she felt sick for days at the images of it that remained. Having it done on her own leg was worse and apparently she hadn't been able to handle it.

"I feel alright, I suppose. As good as can be expected. I wish I could be useful, though." She could hear Collin and Dr. Rider talking outside, they mentioned a tent. Apparently she had been out quite awhile, and in that time the guys had managed to set up camp. "Thank you for taking such good care of me." Of course it wasn't like he had a choice, she was helpless and he didn't seem like the type to just let someone die. Either way, she was sure she was still alive thanks to him and Collin's work. Before she could say much else her stomach growled and she laughed nervously. "Is there anything to eat?" They hadn't eaten all day, and surely they would be getting hungry as well. She wouldn't mind helping, but she doubted she would even be able to move on her own, useless as she was.

Collin groaned and nodded in Dr. Rider's direction. His head had stopped spinning but he felt weak and tired, and hungry, and thirsty as well. Nothing felt right and he wanted to jump up and fix everything, to find food and water but his body wasn't responding. He could hear voices, May was awake and talking to Will. At least she seemed to be in the clear, for now anyways, if infection set in he didn't know what they'd do. Without a good source of clean water, they would be in trouble.

It took a few moments for the sickness to pass enough for him to stand up. "We need to eat something, then try and get some sleep. Hopefully the food will have washed up by the morning..." He wasn't all that confident in that statement, if they had left the food chest open, it was likely all floating loose and ruined. Perhaps they could salvage a few things, but nowhere near what they'd all need. What they needed most was fresh water, though, as he was sure there would be fish and fruits and other things to eat on the island. Hopefully in the equipment Dr. Rider brought, and what may have been found, they would have something to test the water, or purify it, if they managed to find fresh water. What good would it do to survive the wreck and they get sick from the water?

Leaving the tent he stumbled over to where Will and May sat, just in time to hear May discussing food as well. "We need to eat."

"Don't worry about it" Will said, shaking his head at May's apology "It's fine, we've got the tent set up". He smiled humbly at the unexpected thank you from May. He pushed his knees with his hands to stand up as May asked about food. It looked like Collin had the same idea and all of the survivors were progressively getting hungrier. All the hard work, heat and not to mention the thrashing waves they had endured in the crash had stripped their bodies bare of calories to thrive on. Even though the only food they had was minimal, Will knew it was important for them to consume more energy for them to get strong enough to get off this island, and crucially for May to heal from her injury.

Dr. Rider made his way over to the others as Will was handing out the food packages to the others. He reached out his hand to take one from him as he passed it over. Dr. Rider had spent a long time in the water to salvage the food packages, but even with his selfish tendencies he had to admit to himself that the food was sparse and dividing the food was for the good of them all. If he was going to find this bird and return to the mainland safely, he would need all the help he could get, even if it were only three others.

May smiled and nodded a thanks to Will when he handed her the food packet, she tore into it, eating quickly. It wasn't very ladylike, but she was starving, her body apparently had used all her energy trying to keep her alive, despite her doing next to nothing this whole time. Hopefully soon she would be able to get up, but the way her leg hurt she felt like she never would be able to again. She had seen the stitches, the gash before he had fixed it, it wasn't a small thing. Surely she needed a hospital? Yet what did that matter, they were stranded here, at least for now.

It wasn't very good, but it would get her through the night, hopefully. Their small group worried her, had they been the only ones to make it? Surely other survivors would have popped up by now.

"Thanks, man." Collin muttered as he plopped down beside May, nudging her, trying to ease the tension. "Tent is ready, I'll help you over to it when we're done here, May." He wasn't sure how he felt about leaving May alone with Will this whole time. He seemed like a nice enough guy, but... Well, he felt protective of May. Already he dragged her along, allowed her to be injured, and he felt like a failure. Hopefully he could continue to contribute to their survival and soon they'd be off this island and he could find a way to make it up to May.

"So, Dr. Rider, any idea about other... creatures on this island?" He didn't want to worry them all, but what if there was something dangerous?
