Yah my neighbor just recently graduated too and she does factory work right now. She hopes to get something in the field she got her degree in, but you know a job's a job.
Me...I tried to go back to college but it wasn't enough to keep the house running and stuff...kinda was forced to go back to work. :<

I don't know if having all the money in the world would make me happy...would buy me lots of toys though. :P And a much nicer house...ohh and someone to clean it, and cook for me. OK, I could be persuaded. :XD

I'll probably end up doing bar work again. Its the only thing i've really got experience in apart from call centres D=

Serious Izumi..... but, I wish I made more money at my job :P SIGH. Why did I want to wait a bit before going to grad school? *shakes head*
Oh man, if I won the lotto, I would be Ms World traveler.... but, I would also go back to school, maybe own my own business and do cool research....
And you know, I wouldn't mind working at a bar....tips and all..... interesting people. I just get old ladies assuming I know how to make everything (I kinda do, but I don't let on to them when I'm in a bad mood ;) )

Bleh to call centers. THat's the kinda work I do now. I mean I enjoy it on a good day, but with system issues and policy changes (and little training or notification) it kinda leaves one feeling disgruntled. THat and I hate all that scripted bs they require you to say.
----------
Dude, I just wish I FINISHED my education...age whatever. I just got the bug and dropped out of college to live abroad. That failed miserably and I moved in with my folks. That didn't last long before my mom was threatening to kick me out. Luckily my husband and I had time to meet and fall in love before hand.

I don't think I could ever do a call center again... I did the alumni calling at my university........i had trying to weedle money out of ppl..especially when they are paying student loans too....they don't want to donate on top of that, right?
But, I was very good at it. I worked there for like 4 months part time and got 6,000 dollars in donations.
well, I can't think of even apply to grad school at the moment. I can't pay off my student loans for my undergrad work :(

Yep my husband is still not caught up with paying for his, and he never did finish. :( I was lucky and got funding through pell grant...and since hubby was working I didn't need to pull out further loans. He went to school when he was living by himself. :(

That would be nice. You know I'm wishing my parents helped me go to the school I wanted to while I was fresh out of highschool. THey didn't have to necessarily fund it, but help me in the right direction. I don't think I'd be so 'off the beaten path' now. I'm going to be 28 this year and it feels like it's going to take a hell of a lot of work to catch up. :<

It's all good in the hood. I graduated when I was 24... I am 25 now, and still am unsure of my future, that's for sure. I wanted to go into Library science, but I can't get a job in that field soooo... I don't want to waste my time in grad school if it won't pan out.
My parents were supportive, not financially cause they couldn't be, and I still am lost. So, *shrug* it kinda just happens, you know?
What you go to school for?

I went originally for International Business. Then when I signed back up I was stuck in a community college, as that is all my pell would fund...so I picked Early Childhood Developement/Education Parapro. And then when I told the Children's lit instructor I had a job and it conflicted with work she proceeded to tell me what a dead end the degrees I was going for was - she had friends sitting on theirs not able to put them to use as there just isn't any need. Talk about depressing. :P

I wanted to major In Japanese but they didn't offer it there...but they offered 2 years in Japanese and 2 years in Chinese. I only ended up taking one semester before dropping out. Now I really am mad at myself as I truly had it made...trying to go to school and run a house is very tiring. :(

*Sighs* I feel so uncultured. :P According to my husband that's what he loved about me is I was cultured...I had been outside of the US and I had experienced something outside my own personal bubble...poor man's farthest place traveled is Chicago...And to his kids Chicago is the best place on earth.....:XP
