Oh wow what a flock. Were they kept separate cages or one really big one? I always wondered how they would treat each other in that sort of situation. In pet shops they're mostly apart.

I wanted an African Grey so bad growing up. Soon as I found out how smart they were. But my dad doesn't much care for pets. I think birds particular because somehow my sister got a cat. Go figure. XD

Whoa. That's a ton of birds. We just have one parakeet. We thought he might get lonely so we tried putting a parakeet doll in his cage... But he spent the entire time avoiding it and giving it to evil eye, so ended up just removing it. >___>;

Ionno. A lot of animals think that dolls or reflections are other animals and competition, so I assumed that's why he hated the doll. But maybe he just got scared of it 'cause he thought it was a corpse LOL.

Some birds, like vultures are attracted to dead things for food.

so far, my understanding on animal fear is when they sense or feel they are in danger.
Corpse theoretically don't bother them.

I don't get Amanene's 'fairness'...
why animal feeling scared of anything be unfair?
