I love these new CIs so much, it's odd that there doesn't seem to be many appearing in the Marketplace.

People are probably being overly cautious with their money since taxes are coming up, or they are still paying off Christmas gifts and money is tight.

For the first time in my adult life, I have to pay both state and federal taxes because my husband screwed us over on his unemployment and didn't have any money taken out for taxes. Ugh.

Yep. Send a check or money order. Government doesn't like cash.

They still have to go through the courts to seize your assets, but they can slap liens against you and eventually garnish your wages.

But wouldn't hurting their wages mean they'd get less from them because they didn't have any money left?

When they garnish your wages they take a flat amount from each check you get. Depends on how much you owe and how long they will garnish your wages. Never had it happen to me.

Yeah, they can't do that, they aren't suppose to put people in the poor house.

Not sure what we are going to do tomorrow, possibly laundry and the gym for sure. Outside of that, no clue.
