The Duke raised an eyebrow at her question and looked down at her. "You are the prettiest queen I know, why would I want anyone else?" he asked her and watched as she changed the look of his castle. "Well it never crossed my mind actually." he admitted and chuckled softly. "Thank-you my queen, how nice of you to do this. I approve." he answered with a nod of his head. He wondered if his brother was having any luck on his end.

Jinx grinned happily at his words. "I am glad you like it my King." she said and looked at him. "Well my King, you could give me so much." she said to him and smirked. "I think we should work on building that army together you and I. An army that can defeat anyone who dares get in our way." she commented and suddenly blushed at his compliment. "T-thank you." she said softly and looked back at the castle. "Meet your brother?" she repeated.

"Jinx!" he called out but it was pointless, she was nowhere to be found. Quickly, he got on the carriage. "To wonderland castle, hurry!" he ordered. If anything, she ran away to be with Ezale and he would drag her back home if he had to. When he arrived, he saw Ezale outside and growled. Balthier stepped out of the carriage and approached Ezale. "Hand her over. I know she has to be here with you even though I told her not to see you again she disobeys and comes here." he said seriously but in a calm manner.

" Would you Bloody shut up you over sized Lizard!" Ezale said boldly as he cut his tear stained eyes to Balthier. " Are you as blind as you are stupid dragon?" He said coldly as he tossed the black rose bracelet at Balthier and still hung onto his crown he had given Jinx. " The strange storm and the sudden unsettling of our group. How could we have been so blind. Uhhh!" Ezale said as he paced around the area. He turned as he saw his guard returning with no luck. " As I feared Snow isn't here and I have good mind who's foot prints those are and who's carriage wheels those marks. We where blinded by our own ego's that we didn't see this was all planned. But by witch one? " He said sounding like a mad man. He paused long enough as he felt Wonderlands hand on his shoulder and saw her tears. He comforted her and then spoke again.

" Snow is not here nor is Jinx let me guess Jinx just seemed to vanish like Snow did." He said looking to Balthier. " I haven't done anything with Jinx. You should know I would have never taken her from you. She loves you and I would never do anything that would truly harm her or hurt her." He said as he frowned looked at the evidence. " It's safe to say they are taken but the question is are they safe and did they go willingly or not."

Jabber laughed hearing Jinx, " Ah a women after my own heart.Business first I see." He said as he wrapped his arm around her waist and lead her inside. " Now tell me what kind of army do you want my Queen. " He said as he lead her to the center of the main hall and pulled out his gazing ball. " You see all of these people here can all be yours my Queen if you wish it. They are loyal to me and most of them are fearless warriors. If you prove your power I believe that you will gain more loyal to you my beautiful Queen. " He said as he kissing her hand. " I believe that you and I should build a kingdom here and offer shelter and pardon to any that come that they are loyal to us my Queen. I believe you should use your magic to grant small wishes to gain loyalty as I'll do the same. I can't have my Queen doing everything now can I. So tell me my queen what should our Kingdom look like? "


Snow smiled happy that the Duke seemed happy. " If your King shouldn't we change your clothes. I'm sure there is a royal tailor isn't there that could make you new clothes. If not you should find one. A king has the ability to make his dreams come true that is what you should do." She said as she smiled softly and looked around as she saw two guards coming at them. She clung to the Duke's hand rather scared of them.

Balthier frowned, "So she isn't here..." he said and stared at the bracelet he had made for Snow. Jinx was all he had and now she was gone. He was truly alone now. "It doesn't matter who started this, we know the people responsible but getting back Jinx and Snow isn't going to be easy." he whispered as he tried not to cry. "Yes, she's gone and I didn't even notice when it happened." he said as he looked to Ezale. "She loves you weasel, I thought perhaps she had run over here to be with you or something but I was obviously wrong." he answered. "I didn't see any signs of struggles so I would like to assume that Jinx went willingly. As for if they are safe, I don't think so." Balthier answered.

Jinx smiled as she looked at all the people, he said they were loyal. "I want a strong army, one who doesn't fear dying for a good cause. I want an army that will be victorious." she answered, meaning it. "One that will be feared whenever spoken about." she added and smiled at Jabber as he kissed her hand. "Anything for you my King." she answered softly and stared at the people once more. "That is a great idea My king. You are very smart." Jinx noted and hoped that this army turned out to be as powerful as she wanted it to be. "Our kingdom must look intimidating to show everyone that we are no one to mess with and that we will not hesitate to attack if we are attacked." Jinx suggested.

"Change my clothes, yes I should shouldn't I? I will be sure to do that right away my queen." the Duke said to her and smirked when he saw the guards approaching them. "Do not fear them, they are just going to show you to your room. You do want to see your room don't you?" he asked her and gave her a friendly smile. "I shall have the cooks prepare dinner because I know you must be hungry." he said to her and knelt down to look at her warmly.

" Your not the only one to blame here. I'm just a guilty for letting my work get in the way of what was importance. I wish Jinx had come to me so I could apologize. I love her I really do. And I love Snow and now she is gone. We need to prepare for war and get our people to safety. And we need to come up with a plan to save them both. " Snake said as he looked to the crown.

Snow nodded as she bowed to him and then turned and headed to the guards. She turned as she looked at him. " You should work on your guards and staff. Shouldn't you have butlers or female staff to handle such trivial jobs for you? I think you should look into that a good butler is worth his weight in money." She said as she smiled.


" My Queen I have a few spells that you might like to make the army you desire." Jabber said as he held out his hand and a strange book appeared. " Here my Queen look through this. This has been passed down through ages to those of us of dragon blood. You see Dragons have been here as long as wonderland has been. There are strong spells in this book. You are one of the few that can learn them. You can make whatever you like come to pass with help from this." Jabber said as he flipped it open for her to look at.

"My sister is all I have, she doesn't have to run after anyone. You could have apologized before leaving if you really wanted to. I'm not here to fight though, I'm here because I want to bring my sister and Snow back safely." Balthier answered honestly. "W-war?" Balthier repeated and shook his head. "We are not ready for war and you know it. You said it yourself, the people here are not ready for another war. I mean, we have a lot of rebuilding to do." Balthier explained.

The Duke didn't say anything, only looked to the guards. "Take her to her room." he ordered and turned then left to the kitchen where he ordered the cook to get dinner started. "I have a guest and want her to feel welcomed." he said seriously before walking out of the kitchen. He had maids and butlers, they were the reason the castle was always so clean and why everything was so organized but he didn't have to tell her that. The guards escorted Snow to a large door and when they opened it, a beautiful room was presented to her.

Jinx looked at the book curiously and then looked at Jabber again. "I understand." she said and read through the book quietly. "So whatever I desire to happen will happen if I learn the spells here?" she asked him and grinned. This was very helpful to know. If Jinx learned enough spells from this book she would be truly powerful.

Jabber laughed as he looked at her. " Yes but you have to truly willing to give up any goodness in you. I'm not sure you could do that my Queen." He said as he gently took the book from her and placed it on the table in front of them. " Come I'm sure you are tired my Queen. " He said as he walked off leaving her with the book. He grinned knowing she couldn't resit the chance to prove him wrong. He headed further into the castle as he looked around. It was breathtaking. He walked through the castle as he took note of everything. "Not bad my Queen." He said as he waved his hand suddenly the castle was full of a complete staff from the heart kingdom. The people looked confused and then happy as they saw Jabber. The females seemed to swon over him as he asked them to please get the castle in order. The staff bowed happy to please him. His own adviser appeared and looked around a little confused. " So do you have the list I asked of you?" He asked the man who nodded and pulled out the scroll with the names of loyal people. " Good and welcome home old friend." He said to the man who looked around impressed. " I told you the Queen would be the key."

Jabber just laughed as he looked at Jinx handy work. " I wounder how far you will go to achieve your goal? " He said as he thought for a moment as he headed outside. He stared up at the sky as he started to sing a strange verse. Suddenly a large black crystal trees appeared. Strange energy was coming from them. He smiled as he watched a invisible barrier form around the area. He grinned knowing that Balthier and Snake wouldn't be able to find the new castle now.

Snow looked around the strange room as she frowned being left alone again. She walked over to the bed feeling rather strange as she fell asleep. When she dreamed she felt like she was lost again and along. She kept seeing a lovely black dragon. He was chasing some one it was a boy. It made her laugh. As she slept her hair grew longer and her body changed. The small child that slept grew into a lovely young women lost in her child dreams. A red heart formed just under her right eye the only clue that strong magic had been used on the sleeping beauty.

" What are we suppose to do?" Snake said as he frowned just staring at the crown he had made for Jinx. " You never know what you have until it's gone." He whispered as he softly rubbed his finger along the crown thinking of the short time he was with Jinx and how she made him fill. " Balthier tell me what you want to do." He said as he looked up from the crown and looked at Balthier. " No we can't afford a war but neither of us are going to sit here and play king either. " He said it was easy to see he was struggling to contain himself. " Lets just be honest. We can't be good Kings if the the things we love the most are in trouble. We can't even be good men. I'm not saying I love your sister or will treat her the way you would. But I do care for her and shes the only person who makes me feel the way I do. I can't sit here and pretend to rule people when my mind and heart is with her and Snow. We are no use to our Kingdoms like this."

"Give up any goodness in me?" Jinx repeated and narrowed her eyes at what he said. "You don't think I can do it?!" she hissed and watched him walk away. How dare he say such things and then expect her to do as he said?! Glaring, Jinx picked up the book and opened it up. "I'll show you just how cruel I can truly be, you fool." she said with a smirk on her face. Jinx was determined to learn these spells in that book, she was going to be even more powerful than him. That's what she hoped anyway.

The Duke left to check on little snow and was surprised by what he saw in her place. She was all grown up now and she was a lovely thing to look at. Lovely was an understatement, 'Beautiful' seemed more appropriate. "Look at you, my queen." he whispered softly and gingerly brushed some hair away from her face. He frowned upon seeing the heart beneath her right eye. That could be a problem. "I wonder if we can cover that heart up.." he whispered to himself and glanced out the window. By the time the others did find her, it would be too late. She was already his.

Balthier sighed. "I don't know what we're supposed to do weasel." Balthier started. "What I want to do?!" Balthier laughed and balled up his hands into fists. "Oh, I want to find them and make them my new chew toys! That's what I want to do!" he said. "I want to bring my sister back home. Where she's safe. I want to bring Blondie back so she can be here with you." Balthier continued. "I...I am not a king. I am Balthier...I am a bad guy. I am not worshiped, I am feared okay?" he informed. "We need to get them back and fast. The more time we spend doing nothing, the less chance we have of saving them. We need a plan, we need to figure out where we can find them and start there. If they aren't there we will search the entire place until we find them. I don't care how long it takes, you and I aren't sleeping until we find them. Once we find them we can figure out how to save them." Balthier explained.
