I read a letter to the editor in my local paper today and it made a lot of sense. To be honest, I do agree with you Mr. Mayor, Valentines is a very commericial holiday. The writer, a man I'm assuming, explained that as children most of us go with our parents or guardians, buy a box of valentines and write one out to every person in the class. No matter who, whether it's the pretty boy or the quiet girl. They all get one. And when you go to school you hand out all of them and everyone goes home happy with a box full of generic valentines that make you feel appreciated. But as time goes on you learn that you can only give out a precious few cards and the meaning changes. Eventually you only give out one card but even then a card is no longer enough. You have to buy jewelery, chocolates or flowers. And even then it's still not enough. You somehow have to be original, unique.

The idea the man continued to say was that everyone should go online and send out email valentines to everyone. Not just one person, to everyone. The quiet person and the pretty one no matter how old you are. Because that way people feel appreciated and they feel included in a holiday that has become nothing but a money sucker.

Well in a technical sense no because I'm too powerful to be defeated. This flimsy mortal body however depletes almost half my power. I just have to make do.
