Here it is 1:49 am PST and the moon is more than half full and still hanging well above the horizon. O sunshine, where art thou?

Three days later at roughly the same time and the moon is now in its full phase whereas the moon was not in its full phase at approximately the same position and same time three days ago. So, if the moon can be in a different phase at the same position and same time each morning, how is this an example of sunlight reflecting from the moon?

I did see the snow moon! It was somewhat filtered by some light cloud cover over the Denver area, but I did see it.

So what's the next big moon thing? I never really get to see any of them. You know the blood moon the whatever else there was moon. I do really like when the moon seems extremely huge in the sky. Aaand I don't know what that's called

I like when the moon is really big and it sort of looks light outside

I live in a city so it's nearly always light outside even at night, so the light from the moon didn't seem to have made much of a difference unfortunately.

Yeah, I barely see any stars. Occasionally when I'm out in the mountains though...so many stars!

The more un-walked paths are usually pretty nice, the ones with lots of tourists, not so much. So many unethical assholes littering everywhere with their bottles and wrappers and cigarette butts...
